So I squeed when I found out that the theme for this month's Collabor88 was Unicorns! Because I love them and any of my friends will tell you that without even a moments hesitation. So I fought my way in and grabbed a bunch of goodies and here is the first abuse of the Kawaii factor upon your eyes.

While yes I saw all of the rainbow unicorn things and grabbed them for another post I loved the pinks and blues that were playing in a lot of the stuff that was out and had to make myself sugary sweet.

Born in the Wrong Generation

So if you're looking at this photo and the first thing you think is Red Hot Chili Peppers or a hint of Nirvana, then you're right. I was listening to my favorite albums while styling this look, setting up the set, and working on it in photoshop. I sometimes feel like I was just born in the wrong generation, or a generation too late. But that's okay, because the musicians I adore will live on through their music.
Anywho now about the outfit itself, I was able to get my hands on a copy of cStar Limited's Jessie skin in Shine. I absolutely love how it looks on my shape and as I looked at it, I though... This looks like she could be a pretty kickass musician. So I grabbed my favorite skinny jeans from MoiMoi, a tartan shirt from Miel, and some classic sneaks from Deco. I picked up my guitar, turned on my amp and got ready to play!

Part Of The Sea

So I'm a little late in the game since I started collecting the Miss May skins 10 days ago when they premiered. BUT! Better late than never right? Anyways I had a hard time deciding on which of the five makeup options to show off first and then I realized that the blue version had similar colors to the dress I had been eyeballing from Sn@tch. Then it all fell together from there. The blues and greens made me think of the ocean especially now, at the start of summer, and a mermaid just appeared from there...

Pour Some Sugar On Me

So there is a few hunts going on right now that are getting my attention for various reasons and well when you see this picture and you think really hard you will know what started this whole pastel hot mess you are laying your eyes on. I will even give you a hint: It's rainbow!

And you know I couldn't pass up the kawaii shoes that Razor snuck into the Pink Fusion hunt. Of course Olive had a new candy colored hair to match and I had already sweet talked the rainbow piercings out of Sae. I'm Nobody's Baby

Love's a cruel device that hurts us all, and there's points in life where you you just gotta be nobody's baby. But seriously though, Sn@tch's fishing outfit Oceanside was black and teal in all the right ways, so I jumped on it. I gotta' say I love these cowboy boots! So I popped on one of my old Sn@tch hats and went a country with a lil' twist. As you can see I went for a girly look, then put an edge on it. With new piercings from Cute Poison and these epic cute spiked bracelets from Atooly, it was too perfect. It took me a few minutes lounging around at Pandemonium to realize, hey this right here is awesome as it is!

When All Is Said And Done

AlterEgo has re-grabbed my attention after I fell away from it for some reason and I can't help but wonder what I ever thought was missing in the first place. Maybe I just got grumpy during the start of the appliers craze since big boobs and an even bigger butt don't appeal to me 9 times out of 10. But there is just something about AlterEgo that is drawing me back. And this time I might be here to stay. Shirts with built in bigger boobs so I don't have to mess with appliers and system layers pants that I can tuck into my favorite boots and not look like I jumped back to 2012. And loads of the edgy style that I am slowly leaning towards as of late. Either way AlterEgo is back in my mix.

I fell in LOVE with this Photo Prop Scene and I'm sure I will use it more than once because of the variety it has built in plus the other endless possibilities with all the different angles and my sneaky poseball usage.

Second Star To the Right

And straight on to Pose Fair! I still cannot get over the fact that I am an -Official- Blogger for Pose Fair 2014. Today was the blogger preview and I was FLOORED. It took me over an hour and a half to walk around the whole set-up admiring it and all of the poses. My L$ wallet is almost empty and it hasn't even started yet. I'm sure I will be fighting to get back in on the 19th with the rest of you to buy up those poses I didn't grab today because I will remember it when I go to blog and kick myself for not grabbing it when I didn't have to fight for access to the sim. There is something for everyone from the family photos with the kids, to the poses for making said kids, to the fashion poses, to the poses for just hanging out with friends. The sim set-up is breathtaking and I know my fellow geeks will enjoy some of the little things that pop out at you. I listened to the notecard I got when I landed and I promise you wont regret it. Even with the higher settings, which made me lag on the almost empty sim (yeah my comp is THAT BAD at times), I was still able to navigate and the effects are amazing. You will not regret the added effects as long as your computer can handle them and the lag of the people you just fought off to get on the sim. Anyways on to the sneak peek that is the purpose of this post!

You know you really love a store when you buy a pose pack without even bothering with the trial pose stand because that takes time and you have a whole fair to shop and you know that you will use the poses at some point. I took one look at the ads for the two exclusive Pose Fair Pose Sets from Ploom and threw my L$ at the wall. And Razor did similar with the dress he put out for this round of the Seraphim Social. I didn't waste time with the demo since I wear enough of his mesh to know how the sizing normally runs and I must say it still fit like a glove. I love the cutout details and decided to halfway stick with the "Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy" theme and make myself up a little "out-there" and wandering around Pose Fair just thoroughly cemented that idea. Anyways I think I've rambled and taunted you enough for one post. ALSO YAY 200th POST OMG!!!

So Goth1c0 decided to oblige the other night when i was all I wanna style but IDK what and these sexy little dresses caught my eye. Next thing you know I was dressed and pacing waiting for Cute Poison to release the piercing that had been teased for a couple days. And then came the RL interfering and well it turned out for the best, because not only did I find out about this awesome bow that is gracing my head with its adorkableness but I sweet talked the ever epic Kayltih into taking the pic for me and I must say she did a much better job that I would have pulled off!

cStar Limited has a beautiful skin out for Sexy cStar Saturdays. Flora is a beautiful almond colored tone, appropriately named, with a look of soft tanned skin. She comes in two make-up options, pink and my personal favorite, smokey. To me, she has what strikes as a very Latin look.
I am so in love with this outfit, I really don't want to take it off. Taketomi gave out a group gift and it's a really gorgeous, ridiculously long hair with bunches of color options. Their group is free to join too! I figured it would go great with a gorgeous outfit from Sn@tch, and it so did! Being a belly dancer, I decided to say screw it to wearing shoes and just rock my slink medium feet with a gorgeous blue mani-pedi from Atooly. I had to accessorize too of course, so a beautiful beaded necklace form Maxi Gossamer and a cute and sweet bow from Atooly completed my look.

Pretty Little Liar

A pretty face, a mind as sharp as a tack, lips plump, eyes to drown in... but she has a silver snake tongue. Such a pretty little liar!
But seriously though, this look has been on the back-burner for a long while now. I put it together feeling pretty monotone and wanting to go for something chich with just a hint of nerdiness and gothiness. So I grabbed my favorite wire-frame glasses, a cute dress from ColdLogic, some opaque tights (and a fresh mani-pedi) from Atooly, and a pair of wedges from L. Warwick handmade shoes. So with my courier bag from MIEL, I set out to visit a quaint little plaza I knew had a lovely fountain, on a sunny day!

I didn't forget to accessorize either. I've had this cute little collar for a long time but never knew exactly what to do with it until this outfit came along. Don't you just love the little silver spider webs? I thought it went wonderfully with this bird skull tattoo. Not to mention a key and an ankh necklaces to seal the deal!

Witch Gacha Heart

So there may be a few too many gacha events right now that have my scatter brained attention. The arcade was already all month long, The Luck of the Irish just opened up, and then I hear about the one day Witching Hour Gacha event. One With The Universe

It's not too late! Rocket on over to Collab 88 and buy all the things and then go collect all the new Miss March skins from cStar and have a field day like I did with the fun colors and galaxy themed prints! I have to say once I saw the preview for Miss March I new the February round of Collab 88 and the make-up on Miss March were a match from out of this world! Sweet Dreams

Are made of rainbows! Hey look I got my rainbow back! At least for a little while while I obsess about these adorable ears from Half-Deer. And I feel like I am cheating on cStar but the new skin form Atomic was just too cute to pass up! Plus with all the brow options and lip options available for cheap it makes a great basic skin for me to dress up or down or sideways or back ways when I don't wanna play with the elaborate makeups that I adore form cStar. Anyways time to show off the rainbow!

Still loving the newest piercing from Cute Poison that is now out in the main store with the few sets that remain now that Project Limited has come to a close. Better go grab it now before you can't get it anymore. And stop by Atooly for the cute little star necklace on the Jack and Jill hunt. This post is LONG over due! It has been plotting since +DV8+ reopened with these new skirts and poor Kaylith and I spent all month tag teaming trying to get this done and then get on together to take the pic and organize what we were wearing but now finally it is done and the minxes can come play!

How You Like Meow?

I fell in LOVE with these cute little pocket pets from Birdy and I had to collect my favorites! In doing so I think I managed to collect all but the fawn pug but hey that just means more pockets full of joy! Then this Cardigan shirt combo came out for Collab 88 and I spent two whole days tryign to get on the sim every opportunity I had to get this top combo because all of the options and uses that were running through my head had me spellbound! Anyways I shall now show off the fun I had with the meows.

I had too much fun putting this look together and giving it the spunky fun vibe I intended while playing with the meow theme that I didn't realize I had gone for until trying to set up the shot.

In With A Bang

So to start the new year off right cStar has released her new Miss January skin line and I just spent the last hour grabbing up one of  each form the gatcha! (yes I have spares a plenty so message me inworld if you need a tone I may have it). Add the new sparkly skin with a partially redone face, which I LOVE, and the newish sparkly dress from Sn@tch and I'm ready to bring in the new year right!
