Beautiful Torment

I've noticed so many using butterflies as a symbol of beauty. Well, they certainly are a pretty creature, but not all of them are as innocent as you would believe. That's right, there is a species of carnivorous butterfly and I'm being eaten alive. The reason behind this? Beauty can come with wonderful perks and good things, but there can also be a terrible, underlying torment within. So to achieve this look, I played with a couple items from Aii. The first being the blood and butterflies. The Filthy Crimson Butterflies include three tattoo layers of different blood intensity (with appliers), various attachment butterflies that flap their wings while perched on you, and your own little swarm of butterflies to flutter around you not unlike buzzards. This was so dark and paid homage to one of my favorite games, Fatal Frame 2 (also called Project Zero 2). For shoes I went with Aii's Death Geta, which are unrigged mesh and include a texture change HUD for three different fabrics and metal options. For a bit more of a disturbing touch, I went with Zibska's Visitante Eyes & Makeup set, and Titzuki's Demon Hands & Feet Paint. With a messy hairdo from Truth and freshly made pose, I put together a dark landscape set and snapped the photo.

Damned And Divine

Zibska never ceases to amaze me with what stunning and unique jewelry she releases. For this round of On9, Zibska has released Lilit, a gorgeous necklace and earring set. It comes with a necklace, a collar, and a pair of earrings. The necklace beads have 8 colors and the stones have 12 colors, both controlled via HUD. Since it had this gorgeous garnet, I decided to go redhead goth with my style. The outfit came together quite quickly, but what I initially had I was feeling as though something was a little off. I asked a my dear friend Baron Santino his opinon, and he suggested I change the eyes. I ended up going with this supernatural, icy blue that I really love with this look. It fits a bit too well, I'd say. Thank you, Mr. Santino! I must say though, I am really in love with Zibska's Blacktop lips. They have this grey that is a to DIE for two toned goth lipstick. As for the shoot, PosESioN had the right pose I was looking for fierce and sexy lean.

"Oh, you're finally here. We were about to begin without you."

Now this particular outfit was one that came together quite fast. I saw this dress and shawl combo at Topazia and absolutely couldn't resist picking up a copy for myself. Melany is available in several colors with a matching fur shawl for each color available separately; this dress comes with a system layer top and a rigged mesh skirt in standard sizing. I loved the collar in the ad for the dress to death but I wasn't sure where it was from... until I looked across the store that is. The sybelle collar is also available in several colors and each color includes gold, silver, and onyx colored spikes.
Needless to say I was excited. Now Misashi is the kind of stylish man that loves to rock a bit of gold in his outfits, so feeling inspired, I took inspiration from that and accessorized with gold. I noticed we were matching quite a bit, except for hair, so I opted for a bun as well for the fun of it. When done styling, I was pretty happy with how it looked, so we both set out for a shoot that was particularly fun.

Her Own Eden

The morning of my real life birthday was a serene one, filled with love and the sweetest wishes from my cherished friends. I feel so lucky to know such sweet and loving people and even luckier to call them my friends A big thank you and lots of hugs to everyone that wished me a happy birthday, you're absolutely wonderful!!
When it came to logging on SL, it was a wonderful surprise that Finesmith had put out some beautiful gifts for all of us to enjoy. I am particularly fond of Finesmith's GOOD set, which is this gorgeous green with accents of lavender. This set was a one day gift, including a tiara, a pair fo earrings, and a necklace. GOOD, is no modify unrigged mesh with scripted control, so it can be resized to fit perfectly (though I didn't need to resize it at all, it fit perfectly out of the box). I decided to pair this gorgeous jewelry set with a beautiful drop neck gown from Topazia in my favorite colour (I LOVE the colour green for those that didn't know). For makeup I went with neutral colors and for my nails, I'm so in love with Finesmith's appliers for Slink, so I absolutely had to use their Solid set (which comes with 16 options included). I'm really loving this look, so I'm probably not going to take it off for a couple of days.
