I may not be Wednesday Addams, but I can still pass for her sister. 

Especially the Wednesday before Halloween...

I absolutely fell in love with this corset that NeverWish came out with for The Nightmare Event there were so many color options and combinations with the huds for them it was hard to choose but I had to settle on the browns when I started playing because it just screamed to be made into a sepia themed masterpiece fit to be a family photo on the Addams family portrait wall.

Sugar And Spice

Sometimes you just have to try something out of the normal and this time I tried to channel a piece of my more kawaii days... But of course I couldn't just jump straight there, I added in the bit of edge I seem to be feeding off of these days for a more bubbly creepy goth kawaii look and feel and I have to say I think it suits me. At least when the light hits the pink hair just right and you can see mischievous sparkle back in my eyes.

Out Of The Darkness

So how about the skin fair right? I have totally fallen in love with Soul since rediscovering her work at the fair this year. This time I braved fitting one of the new mesh Kissers to my shape, and as I was thinking it was far too easy with all the tools she provides with the mouths. Not only did I explore her stall at the booth and take in more of the variety, but I wandered back to her shop and found the awesome variety of fantasy ears she has created. I think this set will be my new favorite when I decide to go a little fantasy but I suspect I will be going back for more. That Little Voice Inside My Head

My brain this past week is taking me over under and basakwards around every little thing that pops into in and tbh it is getting old. Down With The Ship

So I fell in love with the Elven ears that AITUI came out with for The Season Story and from there everything just kinda flowed. We <3 RP delivered with this gorgeous hair from EMO-tions that includes this headpiece that just exudes elven royalty. But I couldn't stop there. I've been hearing and seeing A LOT about the newest eyes from IKON so I had to give them a try, and well I think I found my fantasy eye store for the next long while. Not only were there a ton of options on the wall, each option was a set in and of itself with a exuberant amount of options. It took me 5 minutes to get past the iridescent option (because rainbows, duh!), But once I did the demonic ones just called to me and well I will let the results speak for them selves....

So cStar has been quite lately and today I started to learn why. So now that I got this shiny new computer up and running I was going to *try* to play catch-up on some of the awesomeness that I missed out blogging last month. So I know I've been MIA for just over a month, but I swear it was partially with good reason. See I took a vacation (this was much needed and long overdue), which sadly ended with me having a (thankfully mild) case of the shingles, BUT by the time I was over that all of the parts for my NEW COMPUTER came in and I spent the time in between the holiday festivities building it and learning a few new tricks now that I have a graphics card that can handle them. Sometimes you're a creature of the night, sometimes you have to fight them. Sometimes you're an innocent schoolgirl, sometimes you're a badass dresses as a schoolgirl for the lulz. Either which way you roll you gotta look good doing it.

Sn@tch never steers me wrong with her wonderful pieces that I can mix and match depending on my needs/mood. And pairing it with an .Olive. Hair and a pose to bring out my badass side totally takes this look from gothic school girl to gothic badass. Bella Muerte

So Project Limited started up back on the 10th and I did manage to sim border shop and grab myself some goodies in the first days, however RL decided to grab hold and distract me from getting these limited edition goodies posted as fast as I wanted to. So sadly when you start reading the credits if (Available at Project Limited) looks more like (Available at Project Limited) that means the version I am wearing is already sold out, there may be other color/tone options, but not the one I am wearing. But anyway because most of it is still available, but only if you hurry, I will cut my ramblings short and show off the goods!

So apparently I was feeling more monotone than usual, but that could be because I was more focused on grabbing all the things before they sold out and noticing later how well they pieced together. Raw - Blogger Challenge

The challenge this round is to take a step back from the post processing that has become somewhat of an obsession, not just in RL but in SL as well, and take a raw shot in SL with a natural windlight and post it unedited (cropping doesn't count against you) showing what raw means to you. Well here is my image and the only edit I did other than crop it was shrink the overall image down, because I take my picture way too big and then have to shrink them down, and add my watermark.

Raw to me goes beyond unedited it means not hiding and in essence "wearing your heart on your sleeve" so for this post I wanted to show some surface damage as much to show a visible 'flaw' as to show that we outwardly tend to hide our scars from others. Tears running down my face smearing my makeup to show the raw feeling and emotions we tend to hide from the public eye. The outfit, that of a submissive, shows that we all tend to submit to this idea of perfection and work towards it. The tape and ribbons tangling and binding my hands and feet to show how intertwined and tied into this web we find ourselves in. Chipped nail polish on my finger to show how the world chips away at us trying to break us down and fit us into it's mold as we claw our way through life. I may have over thought this post just a bit, but I did enjoy breaking it down in my head as I worked to compleate it. And the time I saved having to otherwise edit the picture...

Be Brave - Blogger Challenge

So I saw this new blogger challenge and decided I wanted to join in. The blog proposes "Ask yourself this question… what is a look I’ve always wanted to try, one that for some reason, I never have dared?" Part of why I started my blog was so that I could be more adventurous with my fashion and share my combinations. As a result I have covered everything from Goth, to Geek, to dressing up like Kim Possible, to posing as a mistress and as a sub, to dressing up with antlers, to dressing down with only panties and boots on, to wild colored skin, to formal wear, and even dressing just plain casual so I almost counted myself out because there wasn't anything I could think of that I hadn't tried because I was scared to. (I do realize I haven't played with many of the mesh body parts or even furry avatars on my blog, but the first is because I don't have the funds to keep up with the trends and appliers and such and the second is because there is A LOT of modding involved be it fitting hair or a piercing or what have you and I have done it in the past before I got into this fashion blog but I have grown tired of it but hey I can pull off furry.) But I still wanted to partake in the challenge and after reading the above quoted text another time or two it dawned on me I've always been afraid to RP. I would start a look and start making the character and then shy away from it as soon as the idea was half done. This past week though I've worked to change that by joining in on an RP sim with Kaylith. "Remnants of Earth is a cyberpunk space western roleplay based on the remains of the planet Earth." So it is a sim based in one of my favorite genres to read about and thus I know a bit about the themes to work with. And well the fashion part comes easy to me because especially lately I've had a thing for the grungy rugged apparel with a more apocalypse feel to it. And thus Cinder was born...

While the fashion part came easy to me the backstory and actually putting myself out there hasn't. I am way afraid of being judged because I am totally new to this and havn't ever RPed other than little goofy stuff with my friends. There is soo much you have to take into consideration with your character even before you set foot on the sim with your backstory, and then when you do set foot on the sim you don't know anyone until you meet them IC. Your character is a totally different person with a different personality that you and it can be hard to make the distinction especially when just starting out. Luckily for me I have the support to back me up and help me with this new challenge.

Kaylith has been awesome and showed me around the sim some OOC so that I wouldn't get lost and so that I saw some actual RP taking place so that I would see what I was getting into. She even set it up so that our characters me IC right away so that I would have some RP as my character under my belt before she let me loose. She even dragged me into the sim TeamSpeak so that I could get to know some of the others so I wouldn't be scared of them when it came to seeing them on the sim and they have been awesomely supportive as well. The sim is amazing and well laid out. It is always busy, and thus a bit laggy at times, but what fun sim isn't on sl? Okay off to go try and find some more junk to trade in for better junk.

When All Is Said And Done

AlterEgo has re-grabbed my attention after I fell away from it for some reason and I can't help but wonder what I ever thought was missing in the first place. Maybe I just got grumpy during the start of the appliers craze since big boobs and an even bigger butt don't appeal to me 9 times out of 10. But there is just something about AlterEgo that is drawing me back. And this time I might be here to stay. Shirts with built in bigger boobs so I don't have to mess with appliers and system layers pants that I can tuck into my favorite boots and not look like I jumped back to 2012. And loads of the edgy style that I am slowly leaning towards as of late. Either way AlterEgo is back in my mix.

I fell in LOVE with this Photo Prop Scene and I'm sure I will use it more than once because of the variety it has built in plus the other endless possibilities with all the different angles and my sneaky poseball usage.

So these new headphones form Remarkable Oblivion are TO DIE FOR. Everytime I see some new awesomeness form RO I wonder why the heck I keep forgetting to troll the store for new stuff, because it is just different enough that it stands out, and the detail on everything is AMAZING. And to think I normally don't like -gold- on anything but on these headphones it works and gives it that nice almost steampunk vibe without crossing the line.

Pairing it with this skirt and top from Sn@tch gave it that flirty look I wanted but kept the grittier undertones I was looking for. And then of course I couldn't resist the backdrop at Pandemonium when I stumbled upon it.

So Sn@tch came out with this awesome slouchy sweater outfit for Woeful Wednesday and it was instant LOVE. I even pushed Kaylith out of the way to get to it first, despite the skull almost surely marking it as her's even before she saw the green leggings. Either way nanabooboo I got the sexy (Ivey was all I'm soo proud and you blog looky what I made and I had it in my hot little hands last night) and you should too!

Rebel Love Song

So Goth1c0 decided to oblige the other night when i was all I wanna style but IDK what and these sexy little dresses caught my eye. Next thing you know I was dressed and pacing waiting for Cute Poison to release the piercing that had been teased for a couple days. And then came the RL interfering and well it turned out for the best, because not only did I find out about this awesome bow that is gracing my head with its adorkableness but I sweet talked the ever epic Kayltih into taking the pic for me and I must say she did a much better job that I would have pulled off!
