Happy New Year everyone! So, this was supposed to be my last post of last year, but things go in the way so instead I will make it my first post of this year. Sacre Coeur

I have to say it's been and incredibly busy week and it's going to be even busier. However to relax, I thought I would go out on a shopping trip to one of my favorites stores in SL. Topazia has a unique style of creating and the designer marked a couple of her coats to be half off! I figured hey, why not pick it up? Well, I did just that and ended up picking up a few other things because they were too pretty to resist. But I have to say the designer, Nathalia, is an incredibly kind  and generous person. She is one of the few here in SL that enjoys what she does and likes to put smiles on people's faces, and I just so happened to be one of them. Thank you Nathalia, you are wonderful!! <3 For my look however, I decided to style one of her winter coats and do a very chic, blonde goth style. Topazia's Katerina Fur Winter Coat comes with a rigged mesh coat in standard sizing, unrigged fur cuffs, a fur collar, and a ribbon (which I sized down). I decided to use Topazia's Celested Lipstick in Starry Coal, since it was the perfect shade of grey to bring out the highlights in the coat. For clothing I went with basic dark clothing I had from Sn@tch, sexy thigh-high boots from Zibska, and this awesome purse from Maxi Gossamer. Little Bones is currently has some gorgeous styles out at C88, and their Celine hair called out to me for this look. I think it goes pretty friggin' perfectly! But as for the shoot, I created my own attitude-filled pose and headed over to Ironwood Hills to snap the picture.

Amicable Ascendance

With Azul's Mainstore Renewal, the amazing Mami Jewell has released 62 (yes, 62!) limited edition recolors of her designs and they are GORGEOUS. While they do not have appliers for the legacy clothing layers, they're still incredibly beautiful and high quality designs. The texture work at AZUL is hand painted artistry! I chose to play with the limited edition recolor of their Alicia dress in pearl. It's a gorgeous white dress with accents of pink and violet in the flexi-skirt. I decided to keep my styling simple, as not to detract from the beauty of the gown. I went with a blindfold (and doves) from Zibska for the symbolism of peace, a lovely ribbon necklace from Junbug, and a drop pendant from Maxi Gossamer that had the perfect shade of pink to pull the color upwards from the skirt. For makeup, I kept it simple since part of my face was covered. I used my favorite lipgloss from Zibska and some subtle tears from Soedara to add a sense of delicate emotion. As for posing, once again I created my own pose to compliment the look and allow me to float among the clouds.

You're So Vain

Because you cant just strike up LUST with out playing with at least one of the other sin when the Festival of Sin II event is going on, I had to try my hand at a little bit of Vanity too. I instantly fell in love with this dress and had to have it. Finding a pose was a bit harder, but luckily I stumbled upon an lar poses over in Envy. While I didn't find a pose I liked at the event and that worked with the mesh dress (I did find a bunch I liked just none of them played to the dress) I did stop by the main store and found even more poses I loved and one that fit what I was going for. Either way time to let the picture talk because I have a busy weekend planned and I still need to pack!

Sunshine Daydreaming

Just another flower child.

I was feeling a bit hippy after Dragon's fantastic boho styling and since MOON had like the perfect hair, top, pants, some killer eyeliner, and a matching purse, I went a bit crazy. Speaking of MOON, recently I was honored with a spot on their blogging team and I gotta say it's absolutely awesome! I never knew just how hard it would be to find a good flower crown to match the colors of my outfit, but I found one from Evie's Closet that I loved. All that was left for my outfit was to put on one of my favorite necklaces and some cute flats. Finding a location to shoot the way I envisioned it was difficult, however. It wasn't until I asked in a blogger group chat did a a fantastic gal named Des message me and offer her land for me to pictures on. So I teleported over and was immediately impressed with her land design, she is absolutely talented at landscaping! I was completely thankful, because I was able to capture this look the way I intended.

Steam and electric.

You can definitely see the bit of steampunk influence happening in this post. Typically, it's not really my thing, but I was lucky enough to get my hands on a pair of completely awesome headphones. They're a collaboration from The Forge for The Secret Affair and are available in an equally awesome gacha. Seriously, every prize in that thing is beautifully made. Shut Up & Dance With Me

Today has had me dancing and grooving all day, so when Zibska unveiled this rockin' new outfit, makeup, and lashes, I couldn't resist (it seems I'm not the only one in a disco kick). Personally, I noticed a lot of people are apprehensive to use the color green, but I'm not scared of it, in fact I love it! So of course I opted for the bright, gorgeous green color of these fashionable and chic pants. Both the top and pants are HUD driven with 9 color options that flow perfectly together. Zibska is also releasing a bunch of new and beautiful makeups for Skin Fair 2015, each coming in a variety of colors to go with any outfit. I picked out my favorite and decided to pair it with her feathery Flashes Lashes, which come in bottom, top, and full options, all HUD driven with 14 color options. I wore this makeup and lashes with another tone of the beautiful bare Justine skin from JOLI. To finish off the outfit I accessorized with some bright beads, silver metal, and voluminous hair. So come on, let's go back to 1977 and dance the night away, it's a guaranteed way to make you smile. I know I am!

Most anyone knows of the beautifully written poem by Edgar Allen Poe, for it truly is a masterpiece of its time. Those not unlike myself adore it and it sometimes is a fantastic influence. Now this post came to be after I had gone shopping at Black Arts and came across this lovely gown, named appropriately I say. I had put it off since I wasn't so sure on what I could add without taking from the look, but coming across the feather boa and feathery accents from Conquest, it was too perfect. The creator behind Conquest had actually heard me talking about burlesque fans and created these gorgeous custom fans for me in the same styling of his beautiful feather accessories. All of which, are quality, efficient mesh, no alpha texture clipping, tintable, and material enabled.
I can say I'm definitely having too much fun playing with them!

The 11th Hour

So I love that the theme of Uber this round is celestial and of course I leaned more to the Sci-Fi parts of it right off the bat. So this week I gave myself a challenge since Olive came out with this adorable new hair, and I just normally don't do hats of any kind. So I said f-it I need to push my limits and thus the result.

Sometimes you're a creature of the night, sometimes you have to fight them. Sometimes you're an innocent schoolgirl, sometimes you're a badass dresses as a schoolgirl for the lulz. Either which way you roll you gotta look good doing it.

Sn@tch never steers me wrong with her wonderful pieces that I can mix and match depending on my needs/mood. And pairing it with an .Olive. Hair and a pose to bring out my badass side totally takes this look from gothic school girl to gothic badass. See Right Through Me

So for once I decided I could go a little bit bolder than is my norm and I have to say I don't think I did too bad. And you all should get excited because soon there will be a brand new computer build in my future and I can finally play with all the graphical goodness that I have been wanting to that my craptop can't handle. Though you will be losing me some to all the steam games I have bought on sale over the years and haven't been able to play. Anyways on to the sexy that is the rest of my haul from Uber.

I freaking squealed when I saw this corset, and that was before I found out exactly how detailed it is. What I thought was just an image panel is actually a see through panel with the skeleton rigged into it. And it is hard to pass up corset lacing wherever it is, so this hair was also an instant must and found me another hair place to play around with.

Obviously I've been listening to a lot of symphonic metal (again), but that's not important right now. Finesmith is celebrating the upcoming spooky holiday with their Halloween Pry. Can't Fight the Moonlight

Well, as it is tradition, I am part of the Fallen God and Goddesses Election this year and I have to show off my entry and expand on the look because that's just how I roll these days. This year my entry literally got in just under the wire and I couldn't have pulled it off without the help of my epic partner in crime Kaylith. This year I moved away from the more defined goddess aspect and moved more towards what felt natural to me at this time of year and I can't say I'm the least bit sorry. I LOVED last years picture and actually had it mostly planned for 6 months waiting for the competition while I honed my skills and Kaylith did the same. This year I looked up and the time to put in my entry was upon us and Kaylith and I looked at each other and went "k, time to do what we do best". So here is what I am going to consider OUR entry since I could not possibly have done it without her help and she didn't have the chance to do one herself.

I went from Goddess in 2012, to priestess goddess in 2013, to straight up witchcraft this year, but I'm still rocking that Fallen Gods skin goodness! If you have a few minutes please go vote for me and any of the other great pictures on the walls HERE.
