The Pumpkin Eater

Horrorfest has just under a week left and collectivly they have raised just over half of their goal to send to The Epilepsy Therapy Project. This is a really great cause and to help try and raise them closer to their goal I shall assult your eyes with another awesome look I put together using many items I found at Horrorfest or on their sim wide hunt. You shoudl definaly check out the event if you havn't already and buy some stuff to help contribute to The Epilepsy Therapy Project in style!

I do so love this Jack-O-Lantern corset that Dilly Dolls put out for the event it brings me back to my Kawaii side but lets me add the darker side that has gripped me firmly for the past month or so (I think Kaylith might be rubbing off on me more than I realized). And because MIASNOW inspired me to go wild piecing together this Make-Up combo with all of the options that she put out for Horrorfest I have to zoom in some to show you just how awesome the pieces are!

I had to use quite a few layers to get the effect I was looking for, but they were easy to overlay and they all fit together so well that I couldn't help myself when I played with them. And yes, my close-up semi fails as a close-up, but I couldn't bear to crop off the corset or the fun nail polish I found to be that final finishing touch. Although, If you head over to my Flickr page you can click through to see the pictures original size and then you can see all the awesome details including the eyes, which have a name that got me thinking and thus inspired the name of my post. Black Magick Woman

So on a dark whim, the dark magick took over me! A visit to cStar's past line, added with a new gown from Rue was sure to crush all in the way with original mesh boots by a friend of mine, Lindsey Warwick. Anyone that knows me, knows I love the darker side of things, so this look was something I really enjoy. So with my favorite Ankh necklace and a little (more like a lot) of black lipstick, this post came to be! I think it's mostly the transition from the sleek look atop down to the flared out skirt and platform boots below that really makes me like this look so much. Enough of my rambling though!

Fallen Goddess Election

Fallen Gods is having a celebration of the start of their fifth year on the grid in SL and as tradition has it they are kick starting their celebrations with the Annual Fallen Gods and Goddesses Election. This year I decided to throw myself in and see how well I do. I picked the beautiful Depth skin to use because it is one of my favorites form them with all the colors in it, it just called to the rainbow whore in me and I felt I had to use it. I wanted to show off the skin but still keep my modestly, I don't do nakie well RL or SL, so I chose these beautiful silks I found at Deviance that pull out the beautiful teal tones in the skin and accent them beautifully and keep me covered in all the right places. The pose was the hardest part and I ended up getting Kaylith to abuse my avi and bend me to her will with her awesome pose making skills, thus a custom pose that so far only I have because she made me upload it so it was truly one of a kind unless I decide otherwise. First we will show my attempt to create a beautiful goddess-esque picture.

This is not the one I entered into the election though because once I saw what Kaylith had done the above goddess was put to shame. Kaylith's master piece is the one that was entered and is pictured below.

She pulled out the colors in a way that I wish I could with my photography.

Off With Their Heads!

Why yes I got a silly idea while typing up my last blog post, and when I saw the awesome dress from Kre-ations for the upcoming "Scary Face Gacha Fair" I knew it was meant to be. For my look I picked out one of the gorgeous dresses that was covered in blood, however there are NINE variations of the dress and not all of them are covered in blood! So far there are 5 non bloody velvet dresses in Sepia, Deep Red, Green, Orange, and Purple 3 bloody dresses in Grey, Cyan, and Pink and one Rare dress still in the works that is a total mystery as of yet! These mesh dresses have beautiful detailing and come in five standard sizes so they are pretty easy to fit. And speaking of Gachas, PXL has a Halloween Gacha out at the mainstore and the skins are to die for. The skins range from cute and sweet to spooky and twisted, and at only 99L$ a try the skins are too good a deal to pass up!

I have to say the Cute Poison sim is truly spectacular with all their decorating they have out right now. I keep exploring the sim and finding new spots to take pictures and more spooky fun stuff to ogle.
