Collector Of Souls

Time for my little bit of tradition. As I have the past many years, I joined in on the fun that is the Fallen God and Goddess Election that Fallen Gods puts on every year about this time to celebrate their time spent in SL. Sunday kicked off the festivities and voting has opened in the election. This year was a bit of a recreation from past ideas merged into one and shoved down the path my imagination wanted to take it. I found myself mixing a bit of Disney's Hercules with some Harry Potter magic, and while it wasn't where I saw myself going in the beginning, I am glad it is where I landed. Control Freak

So, I may have found my way into Fetish Fair, and my not have been able to walk away without some latex. But hey it's sexy shiny latex goodness it is hard to resist by definition! Soul release her new generation of Drow skins this past week, and it's hard to resist showing off a good skin. You Spin Me Right Round

So anyone that gets to know Kaylith knows she has a -thing- for Harley Quinn, probably has something to do with the clown like aspects but hey I won't judge. And well it has rubbed off on me to the point I'm actually reading the comics and have become rather obsessed with the red and black trouble maker myself. All this leads to silly ideas that start to come together when a knife throwers assistant outfit comes out the same time a Joker themed knife wheel. Now some more side not back story as to WHY my manic giggle escape my throat as the photo was forming in my minds eye. If you haven't seen The Devils Carnival you should get on it because it really is masterfully done and the way they bring Aesop's Fables to life are marvelous! But back to my point the story like of the scorpion and the frog is probably my favorite of the stories that they bring to like and it might have to do with the role Emilie Autumn plays, but if you have seen the movie you see how it ties to this post without me giving out any spoilers. Then the fact that the Joker themed wheel fell into my hands and well just about everyone that knows who Harley and Joker are knows their relationship woes so the plot thickened and I dragged my favorite partner in crime into my plots. Anyway enough of my rambling time to reveal the work of art that Kaylith photographed and edited.

Get To The Pointe

So most of the reason it has taken me all month to get this post done is because I was moving. Every weekend has included moving activities from packing, to physically moving, to cleaning up the old place so we didn't lose the deposit and the weekdays in between working and settling in. But I'm finally all moved and had the time to finish up the pose and picture taking so I can finally fully show off my latest twist of my imagination.

I may have gotten a wild Kaylith-like hair up my butt, but I still have to say I enjoyed creating this look. The shoes started me down this path and the headdress just kind of carried me over the edge.

Blow You Away

So I was getting a totally Andy Warhol Pop Art vibe when I saw this new Tank Top set from Sn@tch and well I just had to play with it. I have to say I think my creation is freaking ADORABLE and I can't hardly stand to take it off. I think the hardest part was choosing which color tank to pick, but the PANK lips from Zibska made it for me demanding pink be the accent color and allowing blue to do the heavy lifting. Know Where

One of the things I love about Titzuki and Boys To The Bone is that their color palettes are seriously amazing, and their products mix well together. Titzuki released their Harang skirt for Epicene! It comes in 5 colors and is in two pieces, so you can mix and match as I did. It's rigged mesh with materials, and 4 sizes each for men and women. Boys To The Bone released this long sleeve crop for The Project Se7en. They too come in five colors, but each includes a patch HUD with 5 options. As for sizing there are 3 male sizes, 2 female sizes, and 1 femboy size. Both of these items together made for my new favorite combo! I went with a straight bang cut from Little Bones, using the dual tone option with two different color packs. As for makeup I went with black lips from Zibska and a bold eye-stripe form Nuuna. I felt that accentuating this outfit with a flower crown and a collar was appropriate, then finished it off with making a pose to flow with my vibe.

Weeds bloom too.

Did I ever mention I love green? Because I do. If it wouldn't annoy everyone enjoying my stream, I would do a lot more. This dress from Zibska caught my eye and lead to a style that came together quite quickly. The boots and hair came quickly, which by the way I love the hell out of this bob and the ability to have it two tone! Makeup came next with a gorgeous new lipstick from Zibska and one of her eyeshadows, both currently at The 100 Block. She offers a fatpack option to get all of the makeup she has out in one swoop, with a nice saving. Now the eyebrows are not actually two toned, I photoshopped one to convey a point in my work, but those are tattoo eyebrows from TSG that come in handy. I'm unsure if they're still available! Then of course, because I am a freak, I had to have my demon paint, a black choker, and green goat eyes. To finish it off, I had to have a pose as equally odd.

Azure Amalgamation

We are all connected.

I've had this jewelry set for some time and have been meaning to blog it, but I just didn't get around to it. now that I've taken a step back from many of my sponsors, I can focus solidly on that which inspires me. This lovely set from Finesmith did just that! Galactic comes with a headpiece (not shown), a tiara, a necklace, earrings, and a ring. I decided to keep the style simple... super simple, by doing an artistic nude. I used this gorgeous long style from Little Bones in her Gossamer pack, which are gorgeous pastels with dark roots. They matched perfectly! As for makeup, I went with soft, shimmery makeup from Zibska, eyeliner from cStar, and nails from A:S:S. Noteably the eyeshadow from Zibska is included in the makeup fatpack she has out for The 100 Block. You can get all of the makeup she has out in one fatpack, for a deal! To give emotion to the style, I used some tintable tattoo eyebrows. I couldn't find any poses weird enough for the concept in my head, so I made my own.

Gentle Violence

This is one I worked on purely for cathartic release. I wanted to portray the power and femininity of a true dominant woman, inspired after a woman that took my heart and touched my life. The Philospher

Back in December I was invited to join in on a 'Who Wore It Better' style challenge for Eclipse magazine. Bloggers went up against certified models in styling three different items with three different looks. I was up for the challenge and joined up to have some fun! A Comfort Of Frailties

It's not very often I do soft and pink, but when I do it's usually in my own twisted manner. I have to say I loved the pastel cosmetics Zibska put out for Skin Fair, they made for a very soft and effeminate look when paired with this style from Little Bones! Her Chromatic X pack is a gorgeous multi-color pastel pack. At this point the style was looking so pretty, but I decided to shave my eyebrows and use these dots instead! It worked well with this gorgeous, detailed mesh collar from Titzuki. It comes in five colors (Black, White, Peach, Red, and Ultraviolet), and includes both a male and female fit version with a resizer script for fitting. This older gacha tattoo went perfectly, but I'm unsure if Antielle is around anymore, so it may not be available. To finish off the look, I went with a favorite pair of eyes from Clemmm, so that I could stare deeply into your soul.

Beyond The Daze

This one is particularly special. It has a far deeper meaning with heavy symbolism in the details. The color choices are that of what I have seen in recent lucid dreaming, as well as a bit of color blocking while still keeping it within the alternative realm. As for the set I delved into creating a little abstract world around the inspirations of the style, but keeping hard edges rather than many soft curves.
I have to say I'm really loving the Chromatic color pack from Little Bones, especially with this particular style. The way the highlights and lowlights sit is very pretty and the quality of this mesh is just gorgeous. Viola includes three standard sizes and an option for the pigtails to be in front, or down the back. For my style I went with primarily work from Zibska, mostly because we all know how obsessed I am with her work. I found that the jacket from her Hillevi set blended well with the shorts from her Renee set, but I could be biased since I like high waist shorts. However the look needed something, but not quite a shirt beneath the jacket for the vibe I was feeling. This tattoo from Letis Tattoo called to me and sat so lovely over the bust and just between the pigtails without being overbearing. As for cosmetics, I went with a blue and black eyeshadow, orange lips, and a yellow lip stripe (all from Zibska) to mimic the coloring of the hair and tie in the jacket. As for eyebrows though, I initially had blonde eyebrows, then black, but neither were sitting right with me. I decided to go out on a limb and use a tattoo layer eyebrow, tint them, then photoshop them a bit to get the exact look I wanted (sorry about that).

Wander

I've noticed in my photos I almost always have black or blonde hair, the rare exception being red or some sort of vibrant color, but I never really play with brown hair. So with different shades of brown in mind, I decided to style something different. What I ended up with is something with a touch of boho, a touch of higher fashion, and touch alternative with hint of black.
Just remember: Not all who wander are lost.

Illuminated Velocity

So, Titzuki made something that was translucent plastic and in my favorite color. It's needless to say whether or not I bought it, rather I am SO IN LOVE WITH IT!! The Medusa collar and Olympus set come in 5 colors with 2 bonus colors only included in the fatpack. My favorite color, this gorgeous chartreuse, is one of them. For my styling I delved into my folders of old items and found this catsuit. Sadly it's not available anymore, but I couldn't resist it! These boots from Plastik fit too perfectly in my opinion. For hair I went to Boon, then for makeup I used a combination of Zibska and Nuuna, with hand tattoos being from Plastik.
