Saving Me

You Spin Me Right Round

So anyone that gets to know Kaylith knows she has a -thing- for Harley Quinn, probably has something to do with the clown like aspects but hey I won't judge. And well it has rubbed off on me to the point I'm actually reading the comics and have become rather obsessed with the red and black trouble maker myself. All this leads to silly ideas that start to come together when a knife throwers assistant outfit comes out the same time a Joker themed knife wheel. Now some more side not back story as to WHY my manic giggle escape my throat as the photo was forming in my minds eye. If you haven't seen The Devils Carnival you should get on it because it really is masterfully done and the way they bring Aesop's Fables to life are marvelous! But back to my point the story like of the scorpion and the frog is probably my favorite of the stories that they bring to like and it might have to do with the role Emilie Autumn plays, but if you have seen the movie you see how it ties to this post without me giving out any spoilers. Then the fact that the Joker themed wheel fell into my hands and well just about everyone that knows who Harley and Joker are knows their relationship woes so the plot thickened and I dragged my favorite partner in crime into my plots. Anyway enough of my rambling time to reveal the work of art that Kaylith photographed and edited.

I Fink U Freeky

So today's post is dedicated to my partner in crime is finally reaching that age where she can take on the world legally and everyone better be prepared. So a few weeks back she posted this picture to her Instagram and Facebook and I fell in LOVE with it and actually got some of my inspiration back thanks to it.

Do What You Wanna Do

Guys! Guys! I can finally share why I was really slow to pick up blogging this month! The first week of December I was selected to take part in the December issue of ECLIPSE Magazine's Ways to Wear section. This round was special because it pits bloggers against certified models. So I was assigned three different items and had to come up with a look for each of them. Luckily for me that was the hard part, as the wonderfully talented Anderian Sugarplum was in charge of the photography for the magazine. So please go check out this issue and especially dive in to the section that starts on page 152 and vote for who you think wore it best! The Final Act

I know Halloween is over, but I've been feeling especially creepy kawaii lately so I had to slip in at this this beauty before I decide to fully retire my darker side for the holiday season. Gentle Perception

You may noticed I'm more more tan than I usually am! There is reason for this. A new skin and cosmetic store by the name of Insol has popped up. I was given the honor of reviewing one of their skins, by the name of Chris. After carefully looking over the entire skin, I can say that it is high quality with excellent detailing and absolutely no ugly seams anywhere I could find. Chris has a youthful look with plump lips and shapely eyebrows, her form being toned and sprinkled lightly with freckles. She includes two cleavage option tattoo layers, two face freckle tattoo layers, a body freckle tattoo layer, four eyebrow options, and omega appliers. Chris is available in 7 tones, Apricot, Beige, Bronze, Fair, Golden, Ivory, and Tanned. Personally, I like to be pale, so I chose the lightest tone, Ivory. To style, I kept it very simple. I used a messy, buy covering hair from Magika and part of Charm's Sylth jewelry set. Sylth is currently available at The Fantasy Collective and it is NOT a gacha, but a full jewelry set! Sylth include a headpiece, a pair of armlets, a pair of earrings, a chain sash harness (standard sizing + unrigged), and a belt; all with two metal options (silver, gold) and five gem options controlled via HUD. As always, Charm's products are modify so you can get the absolute perfect fit. I decided to skip makeup past my eyelashes, as to let the natural beauty of the skin be shown.

I may not be Wednesday Addams, but I can still pass for her sister. 

Especially the Wednesday before Halloween...

I absolutely fell in love with this corset that NeverWish came out with for The Nightmare Event there were so many color options and combinations with the huds for them it was hard to choose but I had to settle on the browns when I started playing because it just screamed to be made into a sepia themed masterpiece fit to be a family photo on the Addams family portrait wall.

Ochre Aria

It's October, yay, my favorite month of the year! Sadly this means that the 29th of this month, the beautiful limited recolors of AZUL's gowns will be going away. So if you want to get a gorgeous gown like the one I am wearing for a steal of a price, you need to head over to AZUL! AZUL's Gina gown comes with a rigged mesh dress and gloves in standard sizing, a side adornment, a headpiece, and flexi-skirts. I really cannot get over how beautifully everything is textured, it always blows me away looking at all of the smallest details. I decided to style this gown with a softer look, but still maintaining my darkness. I rarely ever seen anyone style browns with blonde hair, which I think is a missed opportunity, since the color palettes go so beautifully together. I present a soft, blonde gothic look! For the shoot, I actually stayed at home and just rearranged my personal quarters a bit, since it had this big open window that allowed for light to spill in so perfectly.

You're So Vain

Because you cant just strike up LUST with out playing with at least one of the other sin when the Festival of Sin II event is going on, I had to try my hand at a little bit of Vanity too. I instantly fell in love with this dress and had to have it. Finding a pose was a bit harder, but luckily I stumbled upon an lar poses over in Envy. While I didn't find a pose I liked at the event and that worked with the mesh dress (I did find a bunch I liked just none of them played to the dress) I did stop by the main store and found even more poses I loved and one that fit what I was going for. Either way time to let the picture talk because I have a busy weekend planned and I still need to pack!

Sinner's Song

You know me normally I only do one picture per post but this time I had to switch it up and tell a bit of a story, because well you will see once you see the look. Anyways Festival of Sin II just opened up and I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek! Yes I meant to get this posted like 2 days ago but an allergic reaction calling for a epinephrine injection kinda throws all blogging out the window until the jitters stop and you sleep off the crash. Anyways the event is pack full of goodies for all your favorite sins including Lust, my highlight today, greed, sloth, well you know the rest there are only 7 after all. But time to turn the lust up to 11...

She looks the man approaching up and down before deciding that he is worth her effort. "Hey you!" she says just loud enough to get his attention. As he looks over at her she gives him a wink as she starts to get up off the stairs while she has his attention. The mischievous look in her eyes causing them to sparkle in the soft red lights as she walks up the stairs toward the door. 

She looks over her shoulder as she walks through the door her eyelashes fluttering  playfully "Aren't you coming mister?" before she slips further into the building her words daring him to follow.

Chromaggia

So I decided on a dare from Kaylith to go out on a limb and start playing with some colors I normally won't focus on. I may like the rainbow but I like it as a whole more so than many of the colors broken down as individuals. Today I bring you YELLOW.

I even took it one step further and took to some of Kaylith's favorite shopping places for her more art driven looks and I think she may be rubbing off on me more than she planned...
