     It's been a while since JOLI has been open, but the wonderful and talented creator behind JOLI has decided to once again open her shop up and I'm completely excited! I was honored with a spot in her blogger list and I couldn't be more thankful, I adore her work. With the reopening she is has also put out a new group gift for the ladies- Raquel, a lovely bare face skin in a grey tone. Personally, the moment I saw it I wanted to go drow, but then I accidentally put on a different makeup than intended... and it just felt right. As I changed my contacts (eyes), I thought, dang this would be perfect for an android. So with my favorite catsuit from Moyet, a beautiful corset set from Rosal that I got for my birthday, and a hair from A&Y that I've been eyeing for a while, it all fell into place.
     When it came to looking for a location, I realized that the sim I've been helping work on would be absolutely perfect. ShadowRun ReAwakened is a new photogenic roleplay sim that's in the works. As the name portrays, it is inspired by the ShadowRun games (which if you haven't played them, you're missing out). For those that don't know, the theme of the sim is scifi and it takes place in 2060. It's not open to the public yet, but when it is you're going to see a sim unlike any other! It uses zero prefabs, only original and professionally made mesh, created by our talented building team. I can't say much right now, but if you like interactive, immersive roleplaying sims, you're going to love SRR! If you want updates, you can join the OOC group. Not to mention, once the sim is open, they are blogger and photographer friendly-- Just make sure to wear an OOC tag and don't interrupt the roleplayers!

Cyber Samurai

  

You can always find some of the most interesting characters over at the Blue Falcon Industry's Bar. Sit down and have a drink, there's always cold beer on tap. Beer not your style? There's always whiskey and other spirits, but careful not to over-do it like Niri did. She's gonna be hungover tomorrow!

So, the helmet I'm wearing in this is pretty snazzy. It's really different as far as scifi gear goes, and it's very much inspired by the traditional samurais, but the creator put their own twist to it (hence its name). It's 100% original rigged mesh, modify as to tint the eye slits like I have in the picture, and comes with a BUTT TON of color options. Don't worry, the creator at BFI made sure to made version for male, female, and fit for using tops with collars. So why don't you drop by, have a drink, then pick yourself up a new helmet?

Search and Destroy

Feeling on a brighter note, I had a strange attraction to white and greys with just a hint of my favorite color in the entire world-- Chartreuse. I didn't think this would lead me to styling in my regular genres, especially more cyber/scifi. As you can see though, that's exactly where it ended up!
This is very much a more simple styling, but I am hoping you are eyeballing the MechaBone Jaw piece by Unsung. It's a 100% unrigged mesh single object, with 8 customizable faces (for those unsure how to utilize faces for tinting and customization, there is a notecard included to help you out). For those who are using the newest material viewers like me, the mapping on this jaw is phenomenal! The detail the materials add is absolutely gorgeous as you can see in the picture above, but even if you aren't using the advanced lighting module, this jaw looks damn good. So why not grab one for yourself? It comes in Black, White (shown) and Grey.

Divine Infekt

With the new round of The Thrift Shop opening soon, cStar has created a new skin-- Cheyanne. This skin comes in five different make-up options and each make-up option has it's own unique rare. Rare, I say? Why yes, she is indeed a gatcha skin, but do not worry-- each make-up option is it's own gatcha. I must not forget, there are also some gorgeous new eyes available in a gatcha as well-- which I must say are attention grabbers! In the picture above I am sporting the Del Sol RARE option of Cheyanne, which is in the gorgeous silver tone. With bright oranges and purples paired with black lips, I simply couldn't resist-- I HAD to wrap up in my favorite latex and bring out the claws! I went with a very Bettie Page hairstyle, of course. <3 Not many people know of the place, but I really love the little shop named Sugar Pill. The creator has some pretty unique and well-textured stuff available that's an absolutely MUST-HAVE! Of course I matched it up with my favorite Dare Designs gloves and boots, accented with piercings and necklace from Cute Poison, then finally a latex posture collar and claws I made a while back. They aren't up yet, but I'll have them up and available soon.

Snagged from the in-world group, I had to share cStar Limited's ad for Cheyanne - Carribean. My lovely partner in crime styled and modeled for this make-up option, and I just love how pretty and soft it looks! Plus you can get a peek at the different tones and rare for the Carribean make-up option.

 

So in total there's 74 different skins you can win, with five different make-up options + their rares. As I said, there is an eye gatcha right next to the skin gatcha with it's own 4 unique rares. Over at the cStar booth, there's also some gorgeous eyes released. So, if you're a little low on L lately, why not drop by the Thrift Shop and snag some wicked awesome steals and deals? Human Error

This post has been a long time coming, and here it is! I've been meaning to do a latex and vinyl clad cybergoth style post. I had not felt any inspiration to do it until Neuro// took me as a blogger. I wanted to do something with their Tight Delight corsets, but I wasn't sure what. The story is the same on the make-up I got from +Nuuna+, the hair from Alice Project and the eyepiece I got from [SonnenKorp]. Then I frickin' realized they all fit together! So I went a little scantily clad and ran around to find the perfect spot for this picture. You know where I ended up? An awesome apartment building by Pandemonium.
I think my favorite thing about this outfit is the optics eyepiece from [SonnenKorp]. It's an unrigged, quality mesh with quality texturing. It's completely modify and scaleable with clean and dirty texture variants. the lenses are separate faces too, so you can tint them to any color as well as change the glow, shininess, etc. In my opinion it's a pretty badass touch to any Scifi, Cyber, or even mechanical type outfit. I wear it all the time with my techpriest look! Enough of my rambling though.

Sexy Cyber Demon

I have totally found a new love in SL and that is cStar skins! These amazing skins have some of the most outrageous makeups on the grid and I think that is what draws me to them like a moth to a flame. Most of what cStar puts out are limited edition skins that only a handful of are released and then once they are gone they are gone unless someone trades with you or sells them back to cStar to get put on the auction block.

Recently I had to save up and do some bartering to get the beautiful tone in the much sought after Subdued tone. But I do believe it was well worth it!

Then more recently I started blogging for +Cyrious+ and when looking through her stuff I fell in love with her Bound Demon set that was released at the beginning of the year. This combination fell into my lap and I think I'm totally in love. The demon set has color change parts so it was easy to adjust it from the default red to flow nicely with the teal eye shadow on this amazing skin.

Sadly the Subdued tone is already sold out as are 3 more of the 7 tones it was originally available in but there are still a couple of the Cedar Beige, La Paloma, and Demon Red left for sale on the table as I type this, however seeing as they are limited skins I don't expect them to last long!
