Gentle Violence

This is one I worked on purely for cathartic release. I wanted to portray the power and femininity of a true dominant woman, inspired after a woman that took my heart and touched my life. Just Inches From The Heart

So, I've been hard core M.I.A. The reason? I got a new job in the RL film industry and it's had me incredibly busy. I'm not entirely sure how much time I will have for blogging, but now and then when I have some time (like today) I'll be putting out posts. This one, as you can see, is inspired by the dangerous act of sword swallowing! Why is it so dangerous? Well, the esophagus is curved, not straight. So when someone swallows a sword, it straightens the esophagus out and comes within inches of the heart, one wrong move and the swallower is dead. But why am I making a post about it? Well, one because I can, two because I love the act, and three, the 27th of February is National Sword Swallower's Day! So this is my way of celebrating.

Featured in ECLIPSE Magazine

Back in November I was invited to participate in ECLIPSE Magazine, but little did I know it was the great honor of holding November 2015's proust spotlight! I was asked to do three photos and that it could be all the same style. Well that's not how I roll, so I did three completely different looks. The Final Act

I know Halloween is over, but I've been feeling especially creepy kawaii lately so I had to slip in at this this beauty before I decide to fully retire my darker side for the holiday season. Solitary

With this look, I felt like playing with Titzuki's Slit Tee! The Slit Tee is a unisex item, but it does not have a version with breasts however, it's for more flat-chested and androgynous looks. Make sure to try a DEMO! I'm kind of in love with androgyny for some reason, not sure why, but it's pretty awesome. So I ended up going blonde goth and playing off of my RL looks a tiny bit. I kept the styling simple with a pair of fingerless gloves for slink hands, my favorite collar, an older pair of stockings I had in my inventory, a pair of awesome gothic platform boots, and a thing little thong to add a sense of provocative. For makeup I went with my favorite combination as of late, which is an eyeshadow from Zibska, an eye line from Nuuna, matte black nails, and the lips are from a makeup I made several months ago but never got around to releasing. I'm probably going to release it here soon, but if you can't wait, just ask me in world! I really must bring some attention to this hair however... I LOVE super long hair and Moon put out one that's pretty to die for. It's a little hard to pose with because of how long it is, but I really don't care, I love the length and the quality of her textures. Also all of Moon's new hair is modify, so you can totally tint it for the PERFECT shade! I don't know about you, but Moon got +50 awesome points from me. As for the shoot, I found a little cigarette prop that I got from some ash tray somewhere, made my own pose, then set out for the shoot.

The Interloper

I have always been and I will always be different. This being said, there's not much else that gets me as excited as the color chartreuse. Well, except maybe this alien sphynx and triangle skirt that also happens to be chartreuse. Where is this from, you may be asking yourself? Well, the answer to that is Titzuki. The creator has a mind I appreciate and creates things in such a strange a different vision and for their own enjoyment. Titzuki's trashbag skirts are a rigged mesh skirt with standard sizing and TMP sizes, initially fitted for male shapes form what I gather, but with a little shape adjustment I didn't have any issue getting it to fit. I mean come on, I NEEDED to style this. With strappy boots and a top to match, I think I have crafted one of my all time favorite looks. Boys To The Bone had some pretty awesome poses that I felt fit so perfectly with the attitude of this look. I think I can say it's a bit out of this world, nyeheheheh.

Ultra-Viole(N)t

Sooo, Plastik is retiring a bunch of stuff. Because of that, there's a massive area where you can get these soon to be retired items for quite the deal until November 15th! Seriously, many things are under 100L! I decided to peruse around when her color called Ultra just began calling to me... So, I gave in to the glorious neon purple. What happened is a different breed of cybergoth, I'd say. The collar, dress, and boots were all pieces from Plastik in that gorgeous color, which I used a pair of long latex gloves and ripped up fishnets to add to the look. I did end up making a few little prim pieces for this outfit though, because I wanted a contact kind of look for the eyes as well as some awesome, glowing rings for around the arms, wrists, and ankles. For makeup I went with a very fierce looking combination, paired with glowing eyes, and neon hair. As for pose and set, I custom crafted both to achieve what I desired, though last moment I projected a Chaos star in the background to pay a little patronage to Slaanesh. Heheheh.

After The Fact

Pain, Lust, and Desire.

You can probably tell exactly what kind of mood I was in, just by looking at this post. I wanted to capture the mood of lust, a very tough subject to capture. The way I wanted to go about it was focusing on the craving, the writhing, and the desire rather than the act and the doing. I played off of a couple of my personal RL kinks to bring this together; shibari bondage, sensory deprivation, ballgags, lingerie, lipstick, and high heels of course! I got these particular ones from a new and upcoming place called Pinks, which their particular style is directed towards femininity and babygirls that love, well, pink! Being a creepy goth/metal chick, I personally opted for the black and red heels, but if you like bright colors, it's definitely a place for you.

You're Just A Copy Of An Imitation

I wasn't born with enough middle fingers.

Recently I did a dark oriented photoshoot in the real world and it really brought me back to my roots of style. I LOVE to shock people. Real life and Secondlife, I'm an outrageous person. So naturally, I decided to channel the earlier style of a certain Shock Rocker I'm pretty sure we all know, but with my own personal take and touches. The outfit pieced together with ease, but when it came time to finding the right makeup I absolutely would not settle for just buying something like anyone else would. I do what I want and I make what I want in Secondlife, so I flung open photoshop and spent a considerable amount of time hand drawing my own personal makeup. Once I was happy, I set out to one of my favorite locations with middle fingers blazing.

So cStar has been quite lately and today I started to learn why. Can't Fight the Moonlight

Well, as it is tradition, I am part of the Fallen God and Goddesses Election this year and I have to show off my entry and expand on the look because that's just how I roll these days. This year my entry literally got in just under the wire and I couldn't have pulled it off without the help of my epic partner in crime Kaylith. This year I moved away from the more defined goddess aspect and moved more towards what felt natural to me at this time of year and I can't say I'm the least bit sorry. I LOVED last years picture and actually had it mostly planned for 6 months waiting for the competition while I honed my skills and Kaylith did the same. This year I looked up and the time to put in my entry was upon us and Kaylith and I looked at each other and went "k, time to do what we do best". To Wish Impossible Things

Hey look, I'm back from the dead-- or rather UNdead and I brought some undead fashion with me, too. Clemmm has a bodysuit that is positively to DIE for (with appliers) and TSG has matching platform creepers that is just every little goth girls dream. (Well, they are to me at least.) Plus Goth1co had these glasses that I saw, shouted "OMG I NEED THESE" and bought them immediately. I topped off the rest of the look with some killer pentagram bracelets and a collar from Cute Poison, then decided some skelly makeup would be just too fitting.

Clowning Around

My heart goes out today to my bestie, my other half, my partner in crime. It was one year ago today that she lost her mother, her rock. But I am so proud of her because she has had it rough and has still managed to push through continuing her education and doing what she loves. So today I honor her and her mother's memory as I clown around.

Even in the darkest places there is a spark of light if you just look for it. Sometimes all it takes is a simple smile to turn someones day around. And for those of you terrified of clowns. If you made it this far, I'm sorry blame Kaylith and Keishii. We all get by with a little help from our friends.
