Tell Me When I'm Dead

You know, it's not too often I see a bright neon purple hair in Secondlife. So as soon as I get my hands on it, I immediately pair it with dark colors to make it look ever brighter. Speaking of bright colors, this hair is actually from Candy Mountain! They've recently stepped foot into the hair world, and they're storming it with all sorts of gorgeous colors. My favorite is the brightest of them, as you can see.
Cute Poison has come out with some beautiful new mesh goodies as well. Cute Poison has come out with a new mesh color that is simple, yet a beautiful accessory. My dumb self didn't pay attention to angling so you really can't see it in this picture, but trust me when I say it's awesome. Also see that killer tote bag? That's an exclusive in the Cotton Candy hunt, which is currently going on from the 4th to the 31st of May. So get out there and hunt before it's over and you miss all the neat goodies!
L.Warwick has also come out with some friggin' amazing mesh wedges for the slink high feet. They're completely handmade, high quality, efficient mesh and comes in a variety of colors. There's also spiked and unspiked versions, of which we all know I went with the spiked version. If you can run advanced lighting and shadows, aka deferred rendering, check out the maps on these shoes-- they're GORGEOUS! This post is LONG over due! It has been plotting since +DV8+ reopened with these new skirts and poor Kaylith and I spent all month tag teaming trying to get this done and then get on together to take the pic and organize what we were wearing but now finally it is done and the minxes can come play!

You can always find some of the most interesting characters over at the Blue Falcon Industry's Bar. Sit down and have a drink, there's always cold beer on tap. Beer not your style? There's always whiskey and other spirits, but careful not to over-do it like Niri did. She's gonna be hungover tomorrow!

So, the helmet I'm wearing in this is pretty snazzy. It's really different as far as scifi gear goes, and it's very much inspired by the traditional samurais, but the creator put their own twist to it (hence its name). It's 100% original rigged mesh, modify as to tint the eye slits like I have in the picture, and comes with a BUTT TON of color options. Don't worry, the creator at BFI made sure to made version for male, female, and fit for using tops with collars. So why don't you drop by, have a drink, then pick yourself up a new helmet?

So Kaylith and I squeeed wayyy too loud when we saw this stuff and then proceeded to spend way too much on the gatchas to get what we wanted and ended up with a pretty epic haul despite not getting any of the rares. And then we had to blog them and well...

The funniest part is after we dragged our broke asses away and started to sort what we had we each picked the scout that represented us best on accident just going by what we got and how we could best style them. Funny how that works out. Oh and then we had to double team in Photoshop because well you need magic effects if you're gonna be a Sailor Scout and save the world!

Nothin' like a little burlesque... or was I put in the corner for punishment? Either way, I don't wanna stay in the corner, make me!

cStar has really turned in out with their new facial structure on their skins. I absolutely love it! cStar Limited has put out a bunch of new skins, Kassandra being one of them. My made-of-pure-awesome partner, Dragon, got to this version of Kassandra before me, but I couldn't help but blog it anyways. I went for a more sensual, sexy approach. I love my Slink hand and feet, and I've been reluctant to invest in heels made for Slink feet, but Lindsey Warwick made some heels (for the Slink Medium feet) that were absolutely TO DIE FOR! The ones that really caught my attention were her strapless Siren heels, which I had to wear first. She actually includes baked and material version of her heels, so if you have your advanced lighting module on when wearing the Material version, they're all sorts of gorgeous and glossy. 

Anyways, to go with this look, I actually Dropped by *Epic* and picked up an older outfit of theirs. I love poofy rompers with big bows in the back, I couldn't resist. Also, as something that threw me off, I actually went brunette this time around-- opposed to my usual black, white, grey or blonde! I think it took a turn for the better, heheh!

For this post, it's definitely a little more personal. People who know me in the RL will notice that I have captured a few of my RL characteristics in my avatar for this picture. I definitely went for a more relaxed, casual look. A cozy cardigan, my favorite black tank-top, a pair of comfy skinny jeans, and my favorite (but tattered) sneakers. For this one, I got my hand on some cuteness items from Atooly-- an absolutely adorable polka-dotty headband and a mug that really caught my attention. I'm a huge nerd, and when it comes to graphing and equations, I can keep at it for hours! You can actually get the mug at the Geeks'n'Nerds Fair, which of all fairs thus far, has to be my favorite. <3

Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds

So, lately after falling out of my Halloween kick I've discovered that I fell into a pretty in pink kick and it kinda scares me... I mean look at how I styled the cStar skin Ad for The Thrift Shop! I even had my choice between a couple of the skins and I picked the most girly just because that is what I felt like styling! I think I might be getting sick or something!

But before I even did that I started this look, I just had to attend to RL before I got a chance to do anything with it. But now, here it is the look that started this girly streak that will last idk how long!

I'm thinking it's these new skins that cStar is putting out getting under my skin, but we will see what the future brings and if I can keep the girly looks up or if I will fall back into old habits...

Half Feline

Black Magick Woman

So on a dark whim, the dark magick took over me! A visit to cStar's past line, added with a new gown from Rue was sure to crush all in the way with original mesh boots by a friend of mine, Lindsey Warwick. Anyone that knows me, knows I love the darker side of things, so this look was something I really enjoy. So with my favorite Ankh necklace and a little (more like a lot) of black lipstick, this post came to be! I think it's mostly the transition from the sleek look atop down to the flared out skirt and platform boots below that really makes me like this look so much. Enough of my rambling though!

One Girl Revolution

It is that time of year when much of the fashion world in SL comes together for a great cause. Fashion For Life is up and running again right now to help raise money for the fight against cancer. The first of many stores I know and love supporting this event and this worthy cause that caught my eye was MV with her awesome pink sexy corset and knee high boots. But rather than just brag about them I should show you.

The outfit itself is limited to 100 copies available total so you better run and grab your's soon! The boots are limited to the event, but are totally a must have for any girl's sexy wardrobe. The skin is another of the sexy "The Slut" skins from cStar's latest release and I love the makeup and how it just makes me feel girly and sexy. Is This What You Wanted?

I warned Kehl that his new Jacket would be the cause of me going boobless and by-golly it was. I spent an hour trying to find one of my female shapes that agreed with it and gave up and borrowed a shape one of my friends made for her male alt. But the Jacket is TOTALLY worth it and you need to encourage any man you know to go grab it at the Men's Department right now while it's on sale!

So yes, I spent my morning making a pretty man avi, and when Kaylith saw she pounced on me and demanded a picture. Rare that it is that I go male and she stays female we had lots of laughs as I tried to keep up the male attitude as we were pose hunting. Needless to say I ended up on the pink poseball a few times by pure not remembering that I was the one "wearing the pants in the relationship" today. Also going to point out that I am totally wearing a FEMALE skin. Just goes to show how versatile cStar skins are. In the right lighting and with a slight Drag Queen edge you can make a macho man come to life.

I am gonna make this a quick and ...dirty... post. Well not really dirty because I made sure the nipples were not visible for the version that I am posting here. The Queen

After running around the Around the World Event I came home with enough goodies I needed a second blog post to show them off. What better way to do that then by grabbing the sexy male that is Kaylith alter-ego Devian and holding him down for a picture. I have to say the sexy leather jacket and skirt that I found when wandering around the event totally gave me a feeling of power and I don't think Devian minded one little bit...

But yeah this "date" got my ego fluffed up a little and totally cheered me back up after being sick and stuck in real life the past week and a half. I can totally make boys cry from melted hearts with my sexy looks as well as look totally adorable and kawaii depending on my mood. All the credits for this picture go to Kaylith. Not only did she take the awesome picture, she totally even had the pose half planned out before I suggested we do a picture together.

Queen of the Damned

Last night I finally got my hunter pants on and did some of the Twisted Hunt and FabFree Hunt along the way. I have gone through the past few Twisted Hunts and done every shop and had lots of fun while pulling my hair out, but this time around I can't seem to sit still at the computer long enough to get any serious hunting in. But I did look at the Twisted Hunt Flickr Group and got a peek at some of the amazing prizes and did go hunting for the ones that went "OHH DRAGON LOOK AT ME! YOU HAVE TO HAVE ME! COME FIND ME!" This falls theme for the Twisted Hunt is Darkness and there are truly some dark and twisted prizes among the spoils.

One of the first prize pictures I saw that caught my eye was this hood with horns. It brings me back to my younger years with the look of the evil queen form Sleeping Beauty, but I decided to take it and make it my own. It helped that I had this beautiful skin from cStar that did most of the work for me but then I went searching through my inventory for the perfect match to play up what I had going. My collection of odds and ends from Snatch didn't disappoint me one little bit! And as usual my ever versatile leather pants from a +DV8+ outfit came in handy to bring it all together and flow into the beautiful hoof heels that Ezura has out for the FabFree hunt. Twisted is as Twisted does and all of the shops in the Twisted Hunt never cease to amaze me with their quality and how versatile all of their stuff is.

My Hot Date

Tonight I roped me a Kaylith and we had a hot date of messing with my shape and my new cStar skin. Yes the skin is actually about a month old, but I had to wait until I had lindens (which happened to be when cStar had another of her awesome 50% off sales that make me buy L$ so I can buy more skins)! While on our date she got to play with her awesome photography skills while I got to blog to my hearts content.

I had way too much fun making this posh sophisticated look. I don't dress high fashion/Coture much but the Marilyn skin called to me to do so. So I edited my shape some and grabbed me a man and decided to make a night of it. I have to say a night of fashion fun makes a really great date for a girl like me. Not only do Kaylith and I make a cute couple, we make a great team too!
