I've noticed in my photos I almost always have black or blonde hair, the rare exception being red or some sort of vibrant color, but I never really play with brown hair. So with different shades of brown in mind, I decided to style something different. What I ended up with is something with a touch of boho, a touch of higher fashion, and touch alternative with hint of black.
Just remember: Not all who wander are lost.

Wayward

I'm not entirely sure why it is, but lately I am drawn to different hues of blue. With AZUL having so many beautiful limited creations (for a steal of a deal) out for their store renewal, I've been drawn to whatever speaks out to me, and Qulsome in sapphire did just that. Qulsome is a rigged mesh dress with 5 standard sizes, a rigged mesh hood with 3 sizes, a belt, and flexi skirt pieces. Finding hair to go underneath this hood that both fit and I liked was a hard one, but having expertise in modification, I decided to use a couple of different pieces to create my own hairstyle. Beyond that, I kept my styling simple. I went with dark eyeshadow and dark blue lips from Zibska, sapphire nails, and this absolutely beautiful ring from Charm. Nia was pushed with her modelling skills to create this stunning, intricately detailed ring that comes with 1 metal and 8 gem colors. Plus it modify, so you can achieve the perfect fit! How often do you find beautiful, high quality jewelry that is modify? There's a reason I'm in love with both Zibska and Charm. Once I was satisfied with my darker style, I headed over to Pandemonium with yet another custom pose.

Dark Premonition

"She's going to lure you into her grasp, rip you to shreds, and make you love it."

The Nightmare Event is right around the corner (Otc. 1st)! That being said, Aii is releasing some pretty amazing things that I decided to channel just a hint of Queen of the Damned with. With how perfectly her tattered wrappings go with her thorny succubus outfit, I couldn't resist but to pair them together just moments after I had gotten my claws on them. Her tattered wrappings are rigged mesh with an unrigged blindfold, coming with 7 colors included (though the thorny succubus garment only has 3 color options). Another one of the items she is releasing for the Nightmare Event is this Dream Weaver's Eye, which rests on the chest and is slightly disturbing in my opinion (probably why I love it so much). The Dream Weaver's Eye comes with an unrigged, animated mesh eye that has 14 color options, two chest tattoo options, and appliers for TMP, Maitreya, and Belleza. This style really came together quickly, but something felt a little off about what I had. Talking to my dear friend Madeleine, she pointed out that I should opt for a reddish lipstick instead of noir, go with a different color for the chest eye, and needed something to break up the bare skin. After putting our heads together, it was concluded that a tattoo was needed and with her absolutely amazing skills in styling she helped me find the perfect one-- a vicious looking Eastern dragon! It fit so perfectly in placement, shape of the body to match my hair and the wrappings, and horns to compliment mine.

Morbid Intentions

This very morbid mind of mine will set your course into and early grave.

It's been a long while since I've played with horns, but getting to play with Aii's new gacha accessories for The Fantasy Gacha Carnival was irresistible. I could have gone with something scarier, but I decided to take a much more elegant approach. I aimed for primarily monotone with touches of red for color. Aii also recently released these fantasy eyebrows that really tickled my fancy; they come in black and white with appliers included. My outfit was nearly complete after I had finally figured out what hair I wanted to use (this voluminous sexy style from Moon), but I couldn't quite figure out what was missing. That is until I laid my eyes on this necklace that Zibska has out for We <3 Roleplay's 2nd birthday! It's elegant, beautiful, has included matching earrings, and comes with several HUD controlled color options. So once I was happy, I brought out one of my favorite structures and just moved a few piece around for the shoot.

This outfit from Zibska stood out and spoke to me the moment I saw it. Perhaps it was the insectoid creatures, perhaps it was the bright and vibrant mask? Either way I grabbed a copy as soon as I was finished marveling over it. It's limited edition to only 20 copies, so if you like it you best hurry and grab a copy before it's gone! For some reason a fluffier hair is what stood out to me when I was styling up this look, so I trusted my impulses and went with it.

Clowning Around

My heart goes out today to my bestie, my other half, my partner in crime. It was one year ago today that she lost her mother, her rock. But I am so proud of her because she has had it rough and has still managed to push through continuing her education and doing what she loves. So today I honor her and her mother's memory as I clown around.

Even in the darkest places there is a spark of light if you just look for it. Sometimes all it takes is a simple smile to turn someones day around. And for those of you terrified of clowns. On Razors Edge

Okay so now that Con is over and I had a weekend to relax and get my head back on straight let's try this again. I know I'm slacking as a blogger and haven't been able to make the time, but that's why I resigned from most of the sponsored positions I've had and am now sticking to the few brands I can't bear to stop calling my sponsors and using the big girl money I make now to support my habit. Bella Muerte

So Project Limited started up back on the 10th and I did manage to sim border shop and grab myself some goodies in the first days, however RL decided to grab hold and distract me from getting these limited edition goodies posted as fast as I wanted to. Stone Cold

Anyone else a fan of Greek mythology? I love the subject. So many people like to portray the gods and goddesses, but no one ever shines light onto the Gorgons. Maybe it's because I love reptiles, or possibly because I think it's completely killer that they had hair made of live, venomous snakes! Well, the whole turning people to stone is pretty amazing too.
But seriously though, check out this hair. It's FANGtastic! Do you want some live snakes to sprout out of your head and chill with you? Well you totally can have some. uLukie made this hair for the Totally Top Shelf event and I think it's seriously so friggin' cool. There five different colors (Blue, Green, Red, Purple & Natural) to choose from. Each color is available separately and it comes with a scaled hair base for a seamless look. It's 100% original rigged mesh and textures. Not to mention the snakes are absolutely friggin' adorable.
In the midst of my going nuts being a snake-lady, I had to figure out what I wanted to wear with it. cStar had released a scale textured type skin for their Miss May skins, and that was too perfect. Of course Fallen God's poisonfish tattoos went well too, as they added that scale element to the body I needed while covering all my naughty bits! From there I geared up with some armor from The Forge and accessorized with carefully crafted jewelry (look at those chains and that snake collar, seriously awesome) from Keystone. I did however play around in photoshop a bit to give myself a fanged bite, so I'm sorry the fangs are not an actual item! SsSsSsSsSsssssss~!

I'm Nobody's Baby

Love's a cruel device that hurts us all, and there's points in life where you you just gotta be nobody's baby. But seriously though, Sn@tch's fishing outfit Oceanside was black and teal in all the right ways, so I jumped on it. I gotta' say I love these cowboy boots! So I popped on one of my old Sn@tch hats and went a country with a lil' twist. As you can see I went for a girly look, then put an edge on it. With new piercings from Cute Poison and these epic cute spiked bracelets from Atooly, it was too perfect. It took me a few minutes lounging around at Pandemonium to realize, hey this right here is awesome as it is!

So these new headphones form Remarkable Oblivion are TO DIE FOR. Everytime I see some new awesomeness form RO I wonder why the heck I keep forgetting to troll the store for new stuff, because it is just different enough that it stands out, and the detail on everything is AMAZING. And to think I normally don't like -gold- on anything but on these headphones it works and gives it that nice almost steampunk vibe without crossing the line.

Pairing it with this skirt and top from Sn@tch gave it that flirty look I wanted but kept the grittier undertones I was looking for. And then of course I couldn't resist the backdrop at Pandemonium when I stumbled upon it.

Ever Dream

This week has been a rough one, but with all emotions comes either dreams or nightmares. I feel as though when I'm asleep I am within a surreality that's constantly swirling around me. Finding the the way is always the hardest things, but there's always a light that leads me back to reality of the waking world.

Sn@tch has recently had a fall sale, and I definitely took advantage of it. I pieced together and outfit in my head that I absolutely had to have-- and I pushed forward through the crowds to get it! With such a stunning, long mesh skirt and a gorgeously textured corset, I was in love. I of course had to find my favorite gloves ever (of all time) from +DV8+, which I felt fit well. So, I put my hair up in a very Beauty and the Beast style, then accessorized with my current favorite jewelry from Maxi Gossamer and Cute Poison. Feeling pretty, I visited Pandemonium and took a few pictures; this is the one out of the bunch I loved the absolute most and had to share!

Mistress Of The Night

Horrorfest 2013 is still gong strong and I had to show off some more of my favorite things along with this gorgeous gown before Halloween, because my brain said it just wasn't fair to make it wait until after Halloween. So without further ado as it inches closer to Halloween every minute I present my Mistress of the Night look!

Did I mention I LOVE this gown? It was one of those ones from Sn@tch that you snatch as soon as you can get your hands on it. But of course my height doesn't do my face justice in a full body shot so I had to zoom in on it a bit to show off the rest of the awesomeness which I gathered from Horrorfest.

I have to say it I really love the face detail on this skin from JOLI. And this necklace that Half-Deer came out with for FLF 2 weeks back that is related to her table (not shown because I'm never really good at working furniture into my posts) that she released for Horrorfest makes me giggle! And can you believe the book I'm holding is a freebie?!?!? But you better hurry because it is gone at the end of October! Now to stop rambling and save my breath for another day!

Unholy Priestess

So yeah I'm getting a bit piled up on my end with all the things to blog because I love this time of year and might have over filled my plate a bit. So while I hurry up and work out this backlog here have a look that probably should have waited until after some of the backlog but I decided I needed to do it now!

I saw this gown and had to have it! All of the stuff Cute Poison has released recently accented it quit nicely and this pose I stumbled upon at Horrorfest just made the look fall right into place in the Pandemonium Cemetery. Also have to give props to Jasmine of cStar for this skin and helping me edit the pic after SL and I got in a fistfight and I only partially won. She beat SL at its game and fixed what it broke! P.S. Horrorfest has started! And well A) I was lucky enough to be picked as a blogger for this awesome event. B) Halloween is right around the corner and Horrofest totally has me in the mood! C) I am loving all of the great items the designers have brought out and the fact that at least a portion of sales are going to help the Epilepsy Therapy Project makes this event all the more special. SO anyways there is way too much going on with this event to bring to you in just one post so here is the first of a few that features items form the event as well as other places around the grid right now!

I must say I love what Lokii did with her hands for the event. I saw this and instantly knew I would have to abuse it. And then Vestigum managed to tap into my new tattoo fetish that has started latly and I could not pass up this haunted number. paired with some Halloween theme accessories from the event and a Halloween hunt and BAM! And yes I had cStar help me add to the fierceness with her new skin that is exclusive to the Cosmetic Fair, better run and get it before it's gone!

So it is that time of year when Halloween and Dia de los Muertos takes over 2/3rds of the North American continent and MV came out with a sexy fun avatar that fits the 'season'. This avatar is very limited edition and comes with enough to make it well worth the 1000L$ asking price. Derelict Delusion

There's nothing I love more than dark, creepy asylums, circus themed clothing, and anything lovecraft! This time around, the Twisted Hunt was circus/carnival themed, and it made my black little heart beat with excitement. So first thing I did was skitter to :{MV}:, and the first thing I saw was an outfit called The Oracle. Yeah, I could have just riot vended it or done the mini-hunt, but I couldn't resist and loved it so much I just bought it. I then paired it with some armwarmers, also from the same store. I then added my favorite tattoo in SL, cStar Limited's Strange Aeons. I couldn't resist, it has a sexily detailed Cthulhu! From there, I found a perfect spot in a Pandemonium building and snapped a pic!
