Getting The Point

Work has had me crazy busy, then World Sword Swallower's Day had me even busier! But I've managed to get another post out. This one is inspired by the classic femme fatale with dark eyeshadow, luscious red lips, latex, and my own little twist... a fierce red gaze. I'm dead tired, so that is all for now!

Damned And Divine

"Frozen in time, yearning forbidden wishes."

Zibska never ceases to amaze me with what stunning and unique jewelry she releases. For this round of On9, Zibska has released Lilit, a gorgeous necklace and earring set. It comes with a necklace, a collar, and a pair of earrings. The necklace beads have 8 colors and the stones have 12 colors, both controlled via HUD. Since it had this gorgeous garnet, I decided to go redhead goth with my style. The outfit came together quite quickly, but what I initially had I was feeling as though something was a little off. I asked a my dear friend Baron Santino his opinon, and he suggested I change the eyes. I ended up going with this supernatural, icy blue that I really love with this look. It fits a bit too well, I'd say. Thank you, Mr. Santino! I must say though, I am really in love with Zibska's Blacktop lips. They have this grey that is a to DIE for two toned goth lipstick. As for the shoot, PosESioN had the right pose I was looking for fierce and sexy lean.

Victim Of Changes

Life brings forth many changes. Some changes are good, some changes are bad. In this case, the aching of a broken heart... or more severely, a heart torn asunder.
This look was heavily inspired by all things dark. I wanted to go for something Gothic but more in the fetish area. It's similar to an older outfit, but I figured a recycle using red would accent this gnarly exposed heart from Lost Haven. It's harder to come by nowadays, but I am sure it's still on lurking around on the marketplace. Mwuahahahah~!!! Just my luck though, I couldn't find a pose I liked for my ideal post spot, so I ended up making one. I won't sell the pose, but more than likely set it out as a freebie at the .Presence. main store. It's a little hard to see, but my platforms actually aren't pristine and shiny. They're Ye Olde Noir, with scratches, scrapes and dust, which are amazing details in my book.

But now for the fun stuff! Cute Poison has some new piercings that are absolutely killer. Animus had three different versions, of which I am wearing version 2. They come in three metal colors, are unrigged mesh, and fully modifiable so you can fit them flawlessly to your shape. If I could sport these in the first life, believe me I would. But if glaring eyes, hard core piercings, moody shade, ink, and a straight up exposed heart aren't enough to express what you're going for, Cute Poison also has tag necklace. With 21 different words to accurately describe nearly any look, it's a must-have necklace. You can clearly see what I was going for! (Cue the evil cackle.) This necklace is also unrigged mesh and fully modifiable for the perfect fit.

Lucretia Lost

Sometimes, getting lost is the best thing in the world. I like being a lost girl.

cStar has once against blown me away with the Sexy cStar Saturday skin. This gorgeous undead beauty is called Lucretia, and she come in two tones and eight options! I'm personally wearing Lucretia in Ghost Milk with bloody eyes and mouth. She also comes in Unicorn Ash and has several options as follows: Bloody eyes & mouth, bloody bite, bloodier eyes & mouth, and bloodier bite. She's a little gory as you can see, but I think she's perfect for a vampire or undead in general, really! I love her so much I really just wanted to showcase her beauty, so with but my favorite jewels, I found a wonderful spot by the water to relax. Why don't you come relax with me~?

Fragments of Light

Cinch it tighter, cinch the corset tighter! I was recently added as a blogger for {DarkWare}, and I have got to say they won me over fast with their creations. One thing I really love is the usage of torn fishnet over some of my favorite hues of color, in this case, red and grey! Not to mention I love posture collars like this one they have out, so this over the mouth one was frickin' awesome. I also figured it was about time my Tangos made another appearance. The corset comes in Blood Red (shown), Goth Black, Gun Metal Grey, Punked (Black and white with little skulls), and Psycho Pink. The nightmare collar comes in Camo Grey, Camo Pink, Goth Black (shown), and Plaid Red.

Of course though I also wanted to take it off long enough you could see my face. So I swapped out for my favorite Corvus collar so I could show off Cute Poison's recent piercing release. The piercings come in delicious candy colors, but personally I though the red went so perfectly with my eyes and make-up! The piercings have 7 color options and are modfiable unrigged mesh. Not to mention I epic love the exclusive hair Ploom has out for the Candy Fair, it's a playful high ponytail that I just HAD to have and you might too.

  

Next is my favorite though, shiny new jewelry that makes my black little heart flutter on the wings of a bat. Dripping earring are this dark hearted girl's favorite, and they come in black and white, both bloody of course. Now if you ever want to punch someone (I might have) or just make a statement, this spiked ring is for you. It comes in Gold, Silver, Red and Black (of course). Both the ring and earrings are modifiable unrigged mesh.

Momento Mori

     I have to say Kamelot is probably one of my favorites bands ever, especially their albums Epica and The Black Halo. I had been listening to them the other day when a particular song titled Momento Mori really made me feel something powerful, especially the following lyrics:

"Who wants to separate,
The world we know from our beliefs,
And who sees only black and white,
Distinguish loss from sacrifice,
Some day we may come to peace,
With the world within ourselves,
And I will await you,
Until I close my eyes... close my eyes... close my eyes..."

     So with that playing in my mind over and over again, I set out to create a look based on how the song made me feel.

     Of course things went quite Gothic as you can tell, but that happens with me quite a bit. So I went with something pretty with my own flair to it. It just so happened I was in love with a new acquired, but older, cStar skin. I was wearing her around the Fantasy Fair went I happened to find a dress that called my name and I absolutely just HAD to have! My problem was I had no idea what shoes to wear with it though; that is when my friend Lindsey Warwick popped in and told me about some new platform boots she made! With the name being Crushers<3 I was interested. So I popped over to her store and fell in love! She has numerous colors, including discounted flame print ones specific to her in-world location. I grabbed as many as I could hold! It was to my surprise though that her HUD is very simple and easy to use. Not to mention color packs can be mixed and matched. I was so epic jazzed about it!

     After I had found the PERFECT boots to go with this look, I found a pretty flower head piece and a monotone clutch in my inventory that were begging to be used. I originally had a blonde hair with this look too, but something about it didn't seem quite right, so I didn't blog the look right away. I did however go to the Truth Hair sale with one of my closest friends, Jasmine. With her knowledge, she knew that there was a ponytail waiting there for me that I would absolutely love. I wasn't quite sure on it at first, but after buying it and trying it on in Pearl, she was so friggin' right! <3 My look was complete!

     Lastly, I headed over to a certain monotonous dark carnival out on the grid with one of my favorite Apple Spice poses. Pictures were taken and I was very happy with the results! <3
