The Centipede

I'm going to start this out by saying I'm seriously terrified of centipedes. Of all things to be scared of and so many things I'm not scared of, centipedes get me. So that being said, I was dared to style this Centipede body from Aii. The Centipede includes a tattoo in 8 colors (plus one tintable one), omega and TMP appliers, a rigged mesh body with AO, an unrigged top, unrigged horns, and a color change HUD. There are 11 colors for the shell, 11 colors for the belly, 12 colors for the legs, and 7 colors for the pincher; UV and shadow maps for customization included as well. To top off the dare, Maddy added that I should use gold as a color scheme. Challenge accepted! So off I went in search of what to use. At Dead Dollz I found this gold bodysuit that was sexy, and the way the hips are cut on it worked perfectly with the centipede body and lets the centipede tattoo peek out. At that point it dawned on me that it would match perfectly with Titzuki's pitgirl bracers in gold! I loved the shape of Zibska's Bjorg collar, so with some careful adjustment it fit perfectly. As for cosmetics, I used this eyeshadow from Zibska, nails from Finesmith, and a custom eye stripe I may release later. I must say posing with this tail was a bit difficult, but I managed to make my own pose that just demanded an editorial hair.

Evenescent

This was one of those looks that just came together and happened. I love gradient clothing, so this rigged mesh dress from Topazia made me especially happy. I am really loving the very delicate pearls that detail the gown on the sides, straps and back! I decided to add in Zibska's Ailell shrug, since it was not only the perfect color, but it was cactus blooms (cactus included). For accessories, I used these long gloves from Azul's Gina gown and this simple ribbon collar. For makeup, I used Zibska's Kelan lips, and this sexy and seductive eyeshadow from Topazia. For hair, I figured that a beautiful windblown hair with white highlights in my regular blonde would be a nice touch.

Within Model's Workshop, there was quite the fun challenge presented. Of which, it was to style this beautiful creation of Mila Tatham's SoliDea FoliEs. Whilst laying my eyes upon it, I was listening to a song at the time that inspired me to take my style a bit different of a direction as I always do. Now I didn't go completely with the song as it describes the phantom being, but rather drew my own inspirations from it. To put a different spin on it than what most were doing, I went with editorial hair, a simple neck ribbon to accent the dress, and floral jewelry that included petals flying out to the wind. With eyes as black as ravens, I stepped out upon the waters where the mist began to gather, becoming her ghost in the fog.

So Project Limited started up back on the 10th and I did manage to sim border shop and grab myself some goodies in the first days, however RL decided to grab hold and distract me from getting these limited edition goodies posted as fast as I wanted to. Nothin' like a little burlesque... or was I put in the corner for punishment? Either way, I don't wanna stay in the corner, make me!

cStar has really turned in out with their new facial structure on their skins. I absolutely love it! cStar Limited has put out a bunch of new skins, Kassandra being one of them. My made-of-pure-awesome partner, Dragon, got to this version of Kassandra before me, but I couldn't help but blog it anyways. I went for a more sensual, sexy approach. I love my Slink hand and feet, and I've been reluctant to invest in heels made for Slink feet, but Lindsey Warwick made some heels (for the Slink Medium feet) that were absolutely TO DIE FOR! The ones that really caught my attention were her strapless Siren heels, which I had to wear first. She actually includes baked and material version of her heels, so if you have your advanced lighting module on when wearing the Material version, they're all sorts of gorgeous and glossy. 

Anyways, to go with this look, I actually Dropped by *Epic* and picked up an older outfit of theirs. I love poofy rompers with big bows in the back, I couldn't resist. Also, as something that threw me off, I actually went brunette this time around-- opposed to my usual black, white, grey or blonde! I think it took a turn for the better, heheh!

Search and Destroy

Feeling on a brighter note, I had a strange attraction to white and greys with just a hint of my favorite color in the entire world-- Chartreuse. I didn't think this would lead me to styling in my regular genres, especially more cyber/scifi. As you can see though, that's exactly where it ended up!
This is very much a more simple styling, but I am hoping you are eyeballing the MechaBone Jaw piece by Unsung. It's a 100% unrigged mesh single object, with 8 customizable faces (for those unsure how to utilize faces for tinting and customization, there is a notecard included to help you out). For those who are using the newest material viewers like me, the mapping on this jaw is phenomenal! The detail the materials add is absolutely gorgeous as you can see in the picture above, but even if you aren't using the advanced lighting module, this jaw looks damn good. Titanium

So my friend Vasha, that owns +DV8+, challenged me to do a photoshoot for 10 different songs that had a positive self message that didn't harp on another person or talk about love or the like. I just went through a break-up and it shook what self-confidence I had built up so she wants to help me get back to that point I was at and keep me there, without depending on outside sources to reinforce that I am worth something. Because of the nature of the challenge some of these will be more personal and not geared towards the fashions as much so I am posting all of them on my Flickr and on my Personal Journal Blog and only a select few of them here. But to start things off my brain went running to play with metallic tones and futuristic latex when I started to style for the first song Titanium by David Guetta. So here is what I came up with.

I'm gonna keep the rest of this short and sweet because my original intent wasn't geared towards the fashion but I have to share some of the awesome. +DV8+ IS COMING BACK!!! *SQUEE* The cat is already out of the bag in the deviant group despite Vasha trying to keep it a secret while she finished setting it up so I can post and brag about it here. MV continues to produce sexy latex that fits along the Illiad Corps Division of clothing with this sexy new under-bust corset that has three colors featured at Genre and the sexy boots at Shoetopia with the sales of two of the epic colors going to benefit Soles4Soles.

Never Gonna Give You Up

So the Body Modification Expo just started and it got me in a very different mood form what I normally go for in a post. We're no strangers to love. The theme got me thinking of my favorite stores for "body modification" and of course all of them had jumped aboard the Depraved Nation Event. You know the rules and so do I. So thus I had to scramble and collect all of the things on the first day because that's what I do best when I actually have the L$ to go shopping. A full commitment's what I'm thinking of. First I had to run by cStar because LIMITED EDITION SKINS! You wouldn't get this from any other guy. Once I had nabbed the special tone that was released for this skin and not her other recent releases I started to wander around and gather more things. I just wanna tell you how I'm feeling. This landed me at my newly discovered favorite tattoo (at least until cStar gets me all of the tattoos) and the plan started to form. Gotta make you understand. So I grabbed my Kaylith and thus we ran will my idea. Never gonna give you up. And with more piercings and attachments from Cute Poison and a sexy pose from Apple Spice the plans were laid out and thus the result! Never gonna let you down.

So Candy Fair is about to start! I am so excited I just cant put words to it. I was lucky enough to get my hands on a few blogger copies from the stores I blog for on a regular basis, and if they are any indication of what is to come with this fair we are all gonna be flooding it and coming out with cavities! Time for a sneak-peek of what my sweet-tooth found!

Half-Deer came out with this adorable little birdy and it totally makes me squee! Plus some of the other assorted things she has made since I've been blogging for her went great with the theme Like the Sugar Rush Ears from The Arcade last month and this Whipped Cream Ring form awhile back. cStar never steers me wrong with her skins especially when she makes rainbow make-ups! I have to say I will be fighting with the rest of you for access at Midnight to get my hands on a few more tones of this sexy skin. Don't forget to grab this gift corset either while buying you skins at the fair. I am very partial to this piercing and the fact that I was lucky enough to be able to help Sae with the ad has nothing to do with it! I already loved this piercing set and adding more colorful options to it makes it even more epic! I can't wait to see if this sparks more variety in some of her future releases! Hit The Streets

I have to say this is not something I ever expected to come from me, but look here it is...

I had just filled out the notecard for a random SN@TCH gift card that I found in my inventory and sent it to Ivey and she was filling my order and threw in this coat as a bonus stating something along the lines of "Here try this I'm pretty sure you will like it and have fun styling it." First if it was a challenge because sometimes I can rock the leopard print others I can't, and this time I didn't think I was going to be able to. Then I was sitting there going I feel like a pimp I can't be a pimp I have nothing to wear! But this was one of those nope I have to blog this challenge accepted moments and finally after prodding Ivey about her giving my brain problems she hinted at the bra and leather pants. Well from there it finally fell together and because I still look like a hooker/pimp I decided to go give the poor boys at the urban roleplay a hard time by hanging around to take the picture but leaving RLV off so they couldn't have their fun. I had at least 2 guys try to trap me while I was setting up for the picture and had another decide to trap another poor girl right next to me and put on a whole show sound effects and all. Anyways enough of my rambling about my adventures on the wild side.

Mad As Rabbits

So I instantly fell in love with the Alice themed ears that +Half-Deer+ put out in her Arcade Gatcha and have been trying to toy with them since and I finally put a look together that shows them off but doesn't overpower the ears themselves and well I must share it! Especially since I managed "to pull a rabbit out of my hat" with this picture too!

Sn@tch always has what I need even when I don't realize I need it! If I need something and can't find a thing to wear Sn@tch always has something I can put on and it will just work! As is proven by the hours I spent looking for something and then frustration resorted to fishing which lead to window shopping and comparing what I wanted to what I had already acquired and TAH-DAH! I've become as mad as rabbits! and It all spirals back to Halogen and her +Half-Deer+ Arcade Gatcha.
