I've never been more excited for a fair until I heard about the Dark Style fair. Seeing all the amazing things the designers have out is definitely making my wallet cry, but my wardrobe scream in celebration! Speaking of, Moon released this hair that is coincidentally is absolutely perfect for masks. Do you know how long I've been trying to find a hair to work with this mask? You don't want to know. So centered around the avian theme, I wanted to do something a little bit burlesque. It required some modifications to some feathery accessories I had, but I think it turned out well.

After The Fact

Pain, Lust, and Desire.

You can probably tell exactly what kind of mood I was in, just by looking at this post. I wanted to capture the mood of lust, a very tough subject to capture. The way I wanted to go about it was focusing on the craving, the writhing, and the desire rather than the act and the doing. I played off of a couple of my personal RL kinks to bring this together; shibari bondage, sensory deprivation, ballgags, lingerie, lipstick, and high heels of course! I got these particular ones from a new and upcoming place called Pinks, which their particular style is directed towards femininity and babygirls that love, well, pink! Being a creepy goth/metal chick, I personally opted for the black and red heels, but if you like bright colors, it's definitely a place for you.

Come, let us dance with the darkness. I'll lead the way.

If there's a secret about me I'm willing to reveal, it's the fact that I attended and trained in the art of ballet dancing. Because of that, I absolutely adore ballet and all that pays homage to such a graceful way of dancing. When I laid my eyes on this gorgeous dress from Zenith, I thought it was high time I return to the roots of my adoration. The gorgeous matching collar, gorgeous jewelry, and the adorned headpiece were too perfect to dare pass up. The only thing I needed was to put on my makeup, do my hair in a classy yet diabolic way, slip on my gloves, and adorn my ballet shoes. Then when no one was looking, I went dancing.

Serenade For The Damned

She sings with a voice like velvet to soothe the souls of the lost ones.

Inspiration for this shot came from that of the sexy and sultry demeanor of Hollywood starlets, like Marilyn Monroe for example. Being myself, I absolutely had to take it a step further and draw from the beautiful darkness of the lost and damned. It all came together when I put this JOLI skin on, and it simply called out to me to sing. So luscious curls courtesy of LeLutka, a beautiful black dress from Purple Moon, and Black Lace gloves brought her to life. I couldn't for the life of me find a pose I liked though,

I am still not sure why I started to channel Jessica Rabbit as soon as I saw this purple dress, but I did. Then again I had just been looking at the new skins that JOLI put out for Fifty5 Thursday and the purple eyes with red lips and a red brow option may have set it off. So it is Project Limited time again and while I missed the rush to get some of the stuff I wanted there was still a few must haves left in stock and you should grab them before they are gone if they aren't already. For one Cute Poison put out this collar that she teased about on Facebook like a month ago before she got busy for the holidays and decided to save it for the event. Yes, I have been staring at her Facebook waiting for the release announcement; No I am not a stalker, just a loyal blogger that wants all the things 5 minutes ago to play with.

And I have to say Little Bones hair is totally catching my attention and Kaylith is to blame because she introduced me. And well I had to fall into my new pattern of the occasional bit more of skin because lately it just feels right. Kaylith might be rubbing off on me a bit more than we ever intended when we started working together, but all is fair in love and war because you know I've rubbed off on her too.
