Sometimes a look just calls my name and urges me to put it together. That happened Friday while I was at work and was looking at Facebook and Plurk to get me through the day. A Sweet Little Treat

Sadly right now I am a chick of few words. RL has me by the throat emotionally along with Family visiting and work throwing curveballs so I make pretty pictures to show off the awesome and then have to run right back to RL. But anyway here is my ZOMG Halloween is almost here kawaii pic for the year!

Hit The Streets

I have to say this is not something I ever expected to come from me, but look here it is...

I had just filled out the notecard for a random SN@TCH gift card that I found in my inventory and sent it to Ivey and she was filling my order and threw in this coat as a bonus stating something along the lines of "Here try this I'm pretty sure you will like it and have fun styling it." First if it was a challenge because sometimes I can rock the leopard print others I can't, and this time I didn't think I was going to be able to. Then I was sitting there going I feel like a pimp I can't be a pimp I have nothing to wear! But this was one of those nope I have to blog this challenge accepted moments and finally after prodding Ivey about her giving my brain problems she hinted at the bra and leather pants. Well from there it finally fell together and because I still look like a hooker/pimp I decided to go give the poor boys at the urban roleplay a hard time by hanging around to take the picture but leaving RLV off so they couldn't have their fun. I had at least 2 guys try to trap me while I was setting up for the picture and had another decide to trap another poor girl right next to me and put on a whole show sound effects and all. Anyways enough of my rambling about my adventures on the wild side.

Well this is my RL Birthday blog post! It comes complete with a Pokemon theme thanks to my BF who got me Leaf Green and Ruby Pokemon for my birthday because I need to catch up on all the Pokemon I missed when all my family thought I was "too old" for that. Nine In The Afternoon

Wee! I was suppose to clean all day after making a cheesecake... Did you know how freaking long it takes to make a cheesecake?!?! I refused to leave my living room for fear of missing the timer to take the thing out of the oven so thank God for my laptop which allowed me to be somewhat productive! The result was not only an epic awesome cheesecake but a sexy The Black Market shoot with the lovely Skyler Glasswing. I was gonna team up and do this post with my partner in crime, but since her computer has been on the fritz I decided she needed a break. Thus I grabbed Skyler and raided The Black Market to bring you this post!

I am loving the spring and since it is already hitting 80°F I felt we needed to bring some more to SL with all of the awesome flowers and pale to bright colors. Also FLOWERS! Sorry I don't know why but I saw the flowers on the bench and went hmm MUST GET! Not to mention the rainbow bikini Skyler is wearing. Anywhos... time for a closeup!

While I ADORE the colorful piercings Skyler has on, I also adore the simplistic ones that Atooly bright out for The Black Market. And don't ask me why I was brave enough to spot the plunging neckline of the Masoom Bodysuit, but I do believe I rocked it paired with the Pinstripe pants form Sakide. Think Pink

I finally got to do a shoot with one of my best friends Skyler. We have been trying to find the time and styles that complemented each other for over a month and the Pink Fusion Hunt finally had us agreeing and with enough time and energy to get our butts in gear and pump out the pictures, then RL got in the way and neither of us got it up before Easter ended as we intended but we tried and that's what counts!

Because of my bunny mask and the beautiful Spring pinks we choose and the timing of this post we decided the Easter theme and I went digging for adorable Easter poses we could use. Embody had just the ones we needed so we had fun with our giant eggs as Skyler tried her hand at juggling.

I was soo hesitant about this bunny mask at first but I figured I would give it a try, and after a bit of playing and adjusting it to my hair I kinda grew attached to it. I love the dresses that Sakide came out with for this hunt. The mesh fits like a glove and the detail is amazing. One of my new favorite piercing stores took part in this hunt too. I think Skyler and I both agree that we love what Hebenon Vial does with their piercings since we both ended up sporting it for the picture and we normally can't agree on something that entirely.

A Hint of Spring

Wee Spring is in the air and as such I decided I need to be playful and less dressed than my winter attire for this post. But also Spring means rebirth and new beginnings which it totally appropriate for me and the blog right now. Especially since this is the first post where I get to feature Cupcakes as one of their official bloggers! With this addition as well as everything else going on Spring and renewal was the only thing on my mind as I was putting this look together.

It is only fitting that I stuck to the bright blue that reminds me of the spring sky when picking out the outfit and one of the many makeup options that come with this gorgeous skin from Cupcakes. And I have to add that the theme form Collabor88 fits me all to well this month and it is oddly appropriate as I think about it after I made the look as I ramble through my blog post! The New Romance Collection featured in Collabor88 this month has a bunch of beautiful creations from a wide variety of designers in this beautiful Spring-y pallet. Also I have to say I love this new ploom hair and all that has been done to make the ploom demos even better and more user friendly! I am gonna make this a quick and ...dirty... post. Well not really dirty because I made sure the nipples were not visible for the version that I am posting here. Your Love Has Torn Me Apart

With Valentines Day rapidly approaching and themed stuff at every turn I took this opportunity to not only show off some of the awesome stuff a few of my favorite creators have made but also to vent a little of my S.A.D steam off at the same time. I knew going into the post that I was gonna have to use pink, no matter how much I hate it, after seeing the necklace from Cute Poison I knew I had no choice as the outfit started to form in my head. From there my mind went straight to all of the torn/broken Valentines pieces because well, let's face it, my first Valentines 'alone' since I joined SL is bound to be rather bitter. Yes, I have my awesome friends and my sexy Kaylith (One of my Best Friends whom I'm partnered to) but I do long for cuddles with a guy, I'm just that kind of girl. So after finding the corner set from Inspired, the stiches where my heart should be tattoo from Half-Deer, and the "Happy Fucking Valentine's Day" Shirt from Yulice among the collection from hunting I knew I was ready with a few of the things I already had in my inventory. The veil that Half-Deer came out with this morning for SL Fashion Week was just the icing on top of the cake.

Just Like A Pill

So the other night I needed a pick me up after getting rejected... So my friend Skyler decided to take me out freebie hunting, since being rejected while broke does not a shopping spree make. Well this lead us to the Energy Club where there area ton of good quality freebies available to the group. After we raided that I decided that I kinda loved the skin that I got and styled to it. So in summery this look has been ready for like 3 days but between work and me being bitter I wasn't able to post it. Now that I'm less bitter and had the night off here it is.

I am still loving on these new mesh ears from Zombie Suicide. Totally well done with detail and well I figured out how to play with the tunnels and plugs to double up. With all of these options I don't think I will ever be bored with them. Can you tell that being rejected made me feel more girly that usual? All the pink and the bows, I guess I just feel more...fragile...than I normally do.

A Glittery New Year

2013 is almost upon me and thinking back to this year a lot has changed and my SL is almost nothing like it was when 2012 started. At the beginning I was a +DV8+ Live Model, a +DV8+ Dreadnought, a SLRDA Referee, a Mall Manager, a Shop owner. As the year went on I let go of being a derby girl then refereeing as well. +DV8+ closed it's doors and my Modeling and Mall Managing went with it. I decided I wasn't up to being a shop owner at this stage in SL and packed it up to play with later. Though the new year isn't all about what I've lost, I've gained a lot as well. I'm newly managing the Dare Designs Models that will be starting with the new year, I'm now blogging my heart out and enjoying every minute of the challenges that comes with styling for a blog using things I picked up when modeling and adding them to the tricks I learn on the way. I've lost friends, I've gained enemies, I've made better friends, and I've learned form all of this along the way.

So with all that being said I realized today I wanted to make a post to help remember the past year and bring in the new one with some sparkle to remind myself of the promising new year ahead and to show how far I've come (at least with my blogging and styling) so far.

Frosty Winter

Atooly Hunts is putting on another great hunt right now with a Winter/Christmas theme. I am one of the lucky bloggers for this great set of designers and their awesome hunt freebies so now I shall present the Hunting for Winter Hunt!

This hunt was slightly different from the Falling into the Season Hunt, because there were 2 color swatches that the participating stores could use. The stores could use a Christmas themed swatch or just a general winter themed swatch to make their goodies and there is a good mix in the prizes.

But now it is time for me to give you a small peek at the goodies before sending you off to the blog to see more or just to go start the hunt since it is a FREE HUNT!

I had to make a complete look out of all this awesomeness and the more wintry blue stuff was calling to me so I made myself into a frost queen, and set myself as a pin up in the quaint little house that is one of the hunt gifties.

I loved the art on the walls of the house and had to stick with the antlered theme once I saw the jewelry in the hunt too. Also you should totally click over to my Flickr and zoom in to the details on the under-eye makeup and the ring (It matches the necklace pendant), because the details on them are amazing or just go find them in the hunt yourself!

Wings Of A Butterfly

I was surfing Flickr the other day and saw the new dress released from *LpD* and had instant inspiration! Thus I bring you my take on Couture Fashion with my Wings of a Butterfly look. It was inspired by the dress brought to life with the skin and taken to a different place outside my head with the butterflies. All I know is I stretched my normal fashion boundaries and like what came out of it!

Did I mention that Jasmine took a day and redid the cStar sim to have an epic winter castle and seating area and stuff? Totally worth a looksy especially for some awesome winter cozy themed pictures.

Night's Sorrow

cStar released FOUR epic new skins, in the 42 new tones that she first released in the gatcha, for the Winter Fair, and I was fighting hard against the sim and lag to get to the even the first morning to pick up these awesome skins. I was one of the lucky few that managed to push my way through and get in to the event and grab my skins! And thus I was inspired between the blues in this skin tone and the make-up and the new "Nightingale's Sorrow" pose prop Diesel Works just released to make this sexy blue post. I really do need to start working with pose props more there are so many great ones out there I just struggle finding good places to take pics that allow me to rez them out. Just means I need to adventure more to show off all the awesomeness I find when pose shopping.

Lately I've been really missing +DV8+, then I remember that Sn@tch has a lot of the sexy latex and velvets that I miss from +DV8+, so I get a little less sad while I oggle all the awesomeness that Ivey creates. All the colors she makes makes the rainbow whore in me happy too since all of her stuff comes in multiple colors in the pack when you buy it it is hard to resist!

I have to say I really do have too much fun dressing up based around the cStar skins. While playing dress up last night, I was searching for the perfect necklace while in on a Skype call with Kaylith, Christiana and Jasmine(of cStar). This lead to Jasmine introducing me to an awesome shop I had never heard of before, that has awesome jewelry full of detail. WTG is now one of my new favorite jewelry stores and I will probably be using them more and more.

That Girl's Got Swag

Well the SWAG Fest started this past week and since cStar had a skin release for the even you know I had to fight my way in to get there for one of the awesome limited edition skins that sell out so fast. While I was waiting to be admitted to the region and then waiting again for things to rez enough to walk without plowing people over I took a peek at Flickr and Seraphim to see what other awesomeness awaited me. The nails from [ S H O C K ] made me giggle so much I knew I had to have them. So I wandered around until I couldn't stand the lag anymore and then ran off to play dress up. I found this adorable pair of shorts on the marketplace and knew I had to have them to play with, however I was having a hard time finding a top that I liked to match so back to Flickr I went for inspiration. I didn't expect to stumble upon the new piercings from Cute Poison that I had missed at SWAG Fest, but I saw them and went running back through the lag. The piercings brought a new light to my look, and I was able to piece together this look with just enough SWAG to make me look like a million buck, and a cute million bucks at that.
