Do What You Wanna Do

Guys! Guys! I can finally share why I was really slow to pick up blogging this month! The first week of December I was selected to take part in the December issue of ECLIPSE Magazine's Ways to Wear section. This round was special because it pits bloggers against certified models. So I was assigned three different items and had to come up with a look for each of them. Luckily for me that was the hard part, as the wonderfully talented Anderian Sugarplum was in charge of the photography for the magazine. So please go check out this issue and especially dive in to the section that starts on page 152 and vote for who you think wore it best! Here is a sneak peek at my looks, aka the 'crap I need to have a photo of these looks for inspection pose fast and get it done' pics.

But seriously please go check out the magazine, these pictures are nothing compared to what Anderian captured and put into the pages, plus I would really love your votes! You don't have to be a model to have rocking style that slays, you just have to have the heart and a killer smile.

You're So Vain

Because you cant just strike up LUST with out playing with at least one of the other sin when the Festival of Sin II event is going on, I had to try my hand at a little bit of Vanity too. I instantly fell in love with this dress and had to have it. Finding a pose was a bit harder, but luckily I stumbled upon an lar poses over in Envy. While I didn't find a pose I liked at the event and that worked with the mesh dress (I did find a bunch I liked just none of them played to the dress) I did stop by the main store and found even more poses I loved and one that fit what I was going for. Either way time to let the picture talk because I have a busy weekend planned and I still need to pack!

Sinner's Song

You know me normally I only do one picture per post but this time I had to switch it up and tell a bit of a story, because well you will see once you see the look. Anyways Festival of Sin II just opened up and I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek! Yes I meant to get this posted like 2 days ago but an allergic reaction calling for a epinephrine injection kinda throws all blogging out the window until the jitters stop and you sleep off the crash. Anyways the event is pack full of goodies for all your favorite sins including Lust, my highlight today, greed, sloth, well you know the rest there are only 7 after all. But time to turn the lust up to 11...

She looks the man approaching up and down before deciding that he is worth her effort. "Hey you!" she says just loud enough to get his attention. As he looks over at her she gives him a wink as she starts to get up off the stairs while she has his attention. The mischievous look in her eyes causing them to sparkle in the soft red lights as she walks up the stairs toward the door. 

She looks over her shoulder as she walks through the door her eyelashes fluttering  playfully "Aren't you coming mister?" before she slips further into the building her words daring him to follow.

I Can Do Anything

So I decided to try my hand at something I've seen many bloggers do, but until this point I had never done on the blog. Thanks to participating as a skin fair blogger I received a whole pack of skins from [PXL], having asked for just one and not expecting to be one of the lucky few that got blogger items at all, so I could work with it and show it off I was floored that I was given so many options. Thus I wanted to try something that showed off more of the options than my traditional one at a time. So I took a trick that I have seen bloggers and stores do before but gave it my twist changing up the colors of the rest of what I use with each different shot.

The base avatar is the same for all 4 of my versions, but the make-up and add-ons are different for each. I lost my attention span and groove after completing just the 4 different Pale tone options they have out for skin fair, but you see how versatile these options are in each different picture and the same goes for the other 3 tones they have out. Though I will admit I do enjoy hitting the whole look with all I've got, and making each shot something truly unique is more my style, I may not look past this method in the future as I have in the past when I'm feeling overwhelmed but want to show off all the things!

Off With Their Heads!

Why yes I got a silly idea while typing up my last blog post, and when I saw the awesome dress from Kre-ations for the upcoming "Scary Face Gacha Fair" I knew it was meant to be. For my look I picked out one of the gorgeous dresses that was covered in blood, however there are NINE variations of the dress and not all of them are covered in blood! So far there are 5 non bloody velvet dresses in Sepia, Deep Red, Green, Orange, and Purple 3 bloody dresses in Grey, Cyan, and Pink and one Rare dress still in the works that is a total mystery as of yet! These mesh dresses have beautiful detailing and come in five standard sizes so they are pretty easy to fit. And speaking of Gachas, PXL has a Halloween Gacha out at the mainstore and the skins are to die for. The skins range from cute and sweet to spooky and twisted, and at only 99L$ a try the skins are too good a deal to pass up!

I have to say the Cute Poison sim is truly spectacular with all their decorating they have out right now. I keep exploring the sim and finding new spots to take pictures and more spooky fun stuff to ogle.
