Probably wouldn't have as many thorns, but I'm pretty sure it just wouldn't be the same thing. Anyways I know I seem to have a rose thing going on lately but you can blame the creators for that because for the past 2 months roses have been like the flower to appear on all the things. But this post started being plotted back before Valentines day when Jaimy leaked the preview for these shoes and I already knew then I had to have them. And I have to say this is one of those times where "Good things come to those who wait" defiantly applies.

As soon as I saw the final advertisement (which I totally had to post too because it is a work of art in itself - Go Fave the Picture on Flickr) I was floored, and thus I spent the free time I had opening day of Whore Couture spamming to teleport into the sim just to buy the shoes and the body jewelry. Of course RL had other things to say by the time I got in and could start styling it but hey again good things come to those who wait...

So the Creepy Kawaii fair opened and I've been as excited as a teen going to their first rock concert. I've had my eye on a few things, and it just so happened there was a dress that had its eye on me! So I absolutely had to grab it immediately. The first thing I thought was bubble goth, so I dolled up. Pigtails, violet lipgloss, some decorative cross makeup, garters, and some ruffles, I was ready. I grabbed my trusty umbrella and went running around in my new outfit.

Down With The Ship

So I fell in love with the Elven ears that AITUI came out with for The Season Story and from there everything just kinda flowed. We <3 RP delivered with this gorgeous hair from EMO-tions that includes this headpiece that just exudes elven royalty. But I couldn't stop there. I've been hearing and seeing A LOT about the newest eyes from IKON so I had to give them a try, and well I think I found my fantasy eye store for the next long while. Not only were there a ton of options on the wall, each option was a set in and of itself with a exuberant amount of options. It took me 5 minutes to get past the iridescent option (because rainbows, duh!), But once I did the demonic ones just called to me and well I will let the results speak for them selves....

Bathory

It's almost Halloween, so it's time to break out the creepy and scary! First up, one of my favorites, Elizabeth Bathory. By far one of the most gruesome tales, Countess Elizabeth Bathory would bathe in the blood of virgin girls in order to retain her youth. Because of this she is one of the most well know and prolific female serial killers in history, earning the title of The Bloody Countess.
Since I'm a Kaylith and I love these kinds of things, I wanted to recreate Bathory in my own style. Pure Poison happened to have a gown that was gorgeous and perfectly regal. With some vampiric eyes from Death Row Designs, a bloody vampiric mess from Suicidal Unborn, and the perfect slink hand tattoos from Clemmm, Elizabeth Bathory was brought to (second) life! Mwuah ha ha ha~!!!

Tell Me When I'm Dead

You know, it's not too often I see a bright neon purple hair in Secondlife. So as soon as I get my hands on it, I immediately pair it with dark colors to make it look ever brighter. Speaking of bright colors, this hair is actually from Candy Mountain! They've recently stepped foot into the hair world, and they're storming it with all sorts of gorgeous colors. My favorite is the brightest of them, as you can see.
Cute Poison has come out with some beautiful new mesh goodies as well. Cute Poison has come out with a new mesh color that is simple, yet a beautiful accessory. My dumb self didn't pay attention to angling so you really can't see it in this picture, but trust me when I say it's awesome. Also see that killer tote bag? That's an exclusive in the Cotton Candy hunt, which is currently going on from the 4th to the 31st of May. So get out there and hunt before it's over and you miss all the neat goodies!
L.Warwick has also come out with some friggin' amazing mesh wedges for the slink high feet. They're completely handmade, high quality, efficient mesh and comes in a variety of colors. There's also spiked and unspiked versions, of which we all know I went with the spiked version. If you can run advanced lighting and shadows, aka deferred rendering, check out the maps on these shoes-- they're GORGEOUS! Mistress Of The Night

Horrorfest 2013 is still gong strong and I had to show off some more of my favorite things along with this gorgeous gown before Halloween, because my brain said it just wasn't fair to make it wait until after Halloween. So without further ado as it inches closer to Halloween every minute I present my Mistress of the Night look!

Did I mention I LOVE this gown? It was one of those ones from Sn@tch that you snatch as soon as you can get your hands on it. But of course my height doesn't do my face justice in a full body shot so I had to zoom in on it a bit to show off the rest of the awesomeness which I gathered from Horrorfest.

I have to say it I really love the face detail on this skin from JOLI. And this necklace that Half-Deer came out with for FLF 2 weeks back that is related to her table (not shown because I'm never really good at working furniture into my posts) that she released for Horrorfest makes me giggle! And can you believe the book I'm holding is a freebie?!?!? But you better hurry because it is gone at the end of October! Now to stop rambling and save my breath for another day!

Horrorfest has started! And well A) I was lucky enough to be picked as a blogger for this awesome event. B) Halloween is right around the corner and Horrofest totally has me in the mood!
