The Philospher

Back in December I was invited to join in on a 'Who Wore It Better' style challenge for Eclipse magazine. Bloggers went up against certified models in styling three different items with three different looks. I was up for the challenge and joined up to have some fun! With each look I styled according to the vibe I got of the item, then made my custom pose to accentuate it. With hard work and some finishing touches, all three of my looks came out on top! Tell Me When I'm Dead

You know, it's not too often I see a bright neon purple hair in Secondlife. So as soon as I get my hands on it, I immediately pair it with dark colors to make it look ever brighter. Speaking of bright colors, this hair is actually from Candy Mountain! They've recently stepped foot into the hair world, and they're storming it with all sorts of gorgeous colors. My favorite is the brightest of them, as you can see.
Cute Poison has come out with some beautiful new mesh goodies as well. Cute Poison has come out with a new mesh color that is simple, yet a beautiful accessory. My dumb self didn't pay attention to angling so you really can't see it in this picture, but trust me when I say it's awesome. Also see that killer tote bag? That's an exclusive in the Cotton Candy hunt, which is currently going on from the 4th to the 31st of May. So get out there and hunt before it's over and you miss all the neat goodies!
L.Warwick has also come out with some friggin' amazing mesh wedges for the slink high feet. They're completely handmade, high quality, efficient mesh and comes in a variety of colors. There's also spiked and unspiked versions, of which we all know I went with the spiked version. If you can run advanced lighting and shadows, aka deferred rendering, check out the maps on these shoes-- they're GORGEOUS! While you're at it, don't forget to pick up the new bracelets DRD has set out as a group gift. For every 100 likes they get on their Facebook page, they'll put out a new gift! Isn't that friggin' rad?! I think it is. Teehee!

Think Geek

So when I heard about the Geeks'n'Nerds Event this geeky girl had to go check it out and I found a ton of awesome things that grabbed my attention so here is a post to show off a fraction of my goodies!

I instantly fell in love with this chair from tea.s, and the mugs from Atooly made me giggle. Olive brought out my inner fan girl with all of the Sailor Moon inspired jewelry and the book earrings just magnify one of the meany reasons why (My LOVE of reading) I consider myself a geek. These aren't the only epic things I found though while shopping. Beach street not only had this epic wall art but a gatcha full of geeky pillows that I took many stabs at and collected a few of my favorites. C(Two Cats) also put out an epic cute handheld gaming device that made me squee that I collected! There are tons more but I'm too lazy to type the rest up while I should be off the computer enjoying my turkey day so go wander the event and find all of the epic nerdy things that make you squee!

More Than Meets The Eye

I will have to keep this post short and sweet because honestly the more I look at the pictures the more I analyze them and that just makes my brain scream more with everything that just went on in my RL and all the emotions flowing through me. You never quite realize everything that you subconsciously do until you sit there and look back after the fact. But anyway on to the pretty look!

The bright splash of rainbow is what got my attention with this top and I absolutely had to have it when I saw it. And then cStar came out with rainbow eyes! Sadly I've only managed to wresle 2 of the 3 rainbow versions out of the gatcha so if anyone happens to have the rare one lying in their inventory and doesn't want/need it I have stuff to trade for it. Up to and possibly including my soul... But we have to get Kaylith's approval to go that route! Also comfy bears to lay on! The poses they have in them are awesome I just had an idea in mind and had to find a different pose to bring the idea to life. Also I have to convince Lokii to but out this rainbow version of the necklace she made for the Shoetopia Gatcha. I needed to find a necklace and she was all "I have an idea" and she made the pretty, now she just needs to get it out where more than just me can abuse it! Also a closeup because A) Yay pretty eyes that you need to take a closer look at! B) New profile picture because different angle and win and I want to show it off!
