Silent Snowfall

December's round of Mix has started! If you don't know what it is, it's a HUD based event where creators can put out limited edition products or products out for 50-75% off. For this round Zibska put out their Dylan outfit for reduced price! Dylan includes a mesh dress in standard sizing, a floral hat (which I sized down), bodice, earrings, a gorgeous necklace that drops down the back, and a texture HUD for the earrings/necklace. I decided to pair it with one of the hairstyles Little Bones has available at C88! Freyja is an unrigged mesh hair that includes a version with and without the bangs. I decided to play with the Gossamer color HUD this time, since it had a lovely white with dark roots. For makeup I went with some pretty pale makeup from Zibska and for accessories I went with a pair of my favorite long gloves and some gorgeous nails from A:S:S. As for posing, I custom made a pose for a nice tree I found!

Valkyr De Noir

It's getting closer and closer to the 17th and I absolutely cannot wait for PENUMBRA Autumn/Winter Fashion Week 2015! I was given the great honor to be one of the official bloggers and boy can I say I am blown away with the amazing creations I get to feature in my work. I mean, just look at this avant garde outfit from Du Jour and tell me it's not fierce and sexy! (This outfit will be featured in the PENUMBRA finale show.) This was so up my alley of style that my heart skipped a beat when I laid eyes on it. Du Jour's Valkyra Dress includes a rigged mesh harness top, rigged panties, rigged bracers, and rigged skirt all in standard sizing, as well as an unrigged headpiece and chest accessory. The unrigged pieces are no modify, but I personally found them rather easy to fit and position. I decided to style this outfit with a long, beautiful hair from Fiore as to channel a little characteristic of the ancient Nordic Valkyries. For accessories I went with tall, black leather boots, long black gloves, and this beautiful mesh facial piece from The Forge. As for makeup, I went with an eyeliner from Nuuna that has always reminded me of avians in its shape, as well as an eye stripe to incorporate shape of the top into the upper portion of the avatar. The finishing touch was some stylized, matte black nail polish and I was ready to shoot. Once again, I made my own pose because I could not find one that was similar enough to what I envisioned.

Zibska strikes again with yet another amazing ensemble that is wearable art. I can never really explain what it is that inspires me or just exactly how, but her work always inspires me by bringing out emotions and thoughts that somehow correlate to the outfit in my eyes. Imke is currently out at The Inspiration and includes a rigged mesh corset and shorts in standard sizing, a head piece, a pair of shoulder pieces (which I made a copy of and also put on my hands), a skirt, and a pair of heels fit for Belleza, Slink and TMP. I went minimal with my styling as not to detract from the ensemble, adding a neck/chest makeup and some long gloves. I'm going to tell you right now, locating that mask was a seriously difficult task, but after calling out for help I was able to finally find it. Initially I was going to go with a very simple studio shot with the pose I made, but halfway through I found myself distracted and building this set. I'm completely thrilled with how this one came out!

Haute Felidae

Just going to start this post off by saying OMG! Moon Hair collaborated with Vale Koer to bring us this amazing mask and hair combo! I have to say it's been a while since I've seen something of this caliber in collaboration, because the quality of the hair and mask is jaw dropping. Moon kept with her astounding quality in her hair with all of her usual color packs, and Vale Koer brought us a masterfully made mask with 5 gem colors and 5 projection colors, so the materials are seriously phenomenal. Both Silent Acoustic and Bob are amazing at what they do and together, they have created a masterpiece. I decided to style it with a haute flavor, using a sexy gown from Peqe, a perfectly accentuating harness from The Forge, my favorite thigh high boots from Zibska, and a pair of long gloves. Finding a pose I was happy with was a daunting task, so I once again made my own.
