More Than Meets The Eye

I will have to keep this post short and sweet because honestly the more I look at the pictures the more I analyze them and that just makes my brain scream more with everything that just went on in my RL and all the emotions flowing through me. You never quite realize everything that you subconsciously do until you sit there and look back after the fact. But anyway on to the pretty look!

The bright splash of rainbow is what got my attention with this top and I absolutely had to have it when I saw it. And then cStar came out with rainbow eyes! Sadly I've only managed to wresle 2 of the 3 rainbow versions out of the gatcha so if anyone happens to have the rare one lying in their inventory and doesn't want/need it I have stuff to trade for it. Up to and possibly including my soul... But we have to get Kaylith's approval to go that route! Also comfy bears to lay on! The poses they have in them are awesome I just had an idea in mind and had to find a different pose to bring the idea to life. Also I have to convince Lokii to but out this rainbow version of the necklace she made for the Shoetopia Gatcha. I needed to find a necklace and she was all "I have an idea" and she made the pretty, now she just needs to get it out where more than just me can abuse it! Also a closeup because A) Yay pretty eyes that you need to take a closer look at! B) New profile picture because different angle and win and I want to show it off!

Taste My Rainbow

I can't believe it has already been a year! Thank you to everyone that has helped me along the way! Thank you for my random readers new and old! I have come a really long way, in soo many ways, since I started this adventure. So for this post I felt it would only be appropriate to include some of the people that helped me get to where I did. Skyler the awesome fun-sized friend that helps me style and take pics. And to fill in, where Kaylith was intended to be, is my friend Boo who is awesome and took on the rainbow vomit challenge to help me get the effect I wanted, since Kaylith computer is exploded until the Lemonade event kicks off and she can get some funds to get a new one! So lets show off the sexy rainbow vomit that is a total explanation of all that The Rainbow Fashionista stands for.

To put this simply and break it down Skyler = Cute Kawaii Goodness, Dragon = Casual with Attitude, and Boo = Edgy and Fearless. We show off three of the more prominent sides of me that I show on the blog. I may not always be colorful on the blog but The Rainbow Fashionista stands for so much more than color. It stands for all the different sides and all the variety that can be brought to the table by my fashion choices while I romp around SL with my friends as we show off our creativity. Anyways enough of my rambles for now. Your Love Has Torn Me Apart

With Valentines Day rapidly approaching and themed stuff at every turn I took this opportunity to not only show off some of the awesome stuff a few of my favorite creators have made but also to vent a little of my S.A.D steam off at the same time. But for starters lets do a quit hunt with only 25 stores and awesome prizes at all of them! Atooly Hunts is putting on their Torn Between Hunt and I just have to share because there are many awesome poses, decorations, and pieces for your avatar to wear packed into a quick little hunt that can easily be done in one night. But now to share my look I made after playing with my hunt goodies!

I knew going into the post that I was gonna have to use pink, no matter how much I hate it, after seeing the necklace from Cute Poison I knew I had no choice as the outfit started to form in my head. From there my mind went straight to all of the torn/broken Valentines pieces because well, let's face it, my first Valentines 'alone' since I joined SL is bound to be rather bitter. Yes, I have my awesome friends and my sexy Kaylith (One of my Best Friends whom I'm partnered to) but I do long for cuddles with a guy, I'm just that kind of girl. So after finding the corner set from Inspired, the stiches where my heart should be tattoo from Half-Deer, and the "Happy Fucking Valentine's Day" Shirt from Yulice among the collection from hunting I knew I was ready with a few of the things I already had in my inventory. The veil that Half-Deer came out with this morning for SL Fashion Week was just the icing on top of the cake.
