Gentle Violence

This is one I worked on purely for cathartic release. I wanted to portray the power and femininity of a true dominant woman, inspired after a woman that took my heart and touched my life. Bedroom sexy hair, black lingerie, her onyx ring, red lipstick and nails to match... so beautiful while the leather of her crop licks tender flesh.

Born Villain

This one I was aiming much more for the art aspect rather than a blog post. I thought about creating a scene with the spoils of crime, the villainess being an evil kind of sexy and sultry all the while being able to carry her own. So to achieve this, I went for black and high class elements. So a hair up in a messy updo, a mink coat, and high platform boots was what came to mind. For accessories, some short gloves, leather and metal for the eyepatch and necklace, a long drag, and of course a firearm (nine millimeter pistol to be exact). Besides, it was just a great excuse to do a fierce blonde goth look and sexy pinup pose on a palette of money. Feels good to be evil, mwuahahah!

Luminescence

If you've looked at my stream of posts, you'll notice it's either no color at all or completely colorful. Well, this time around it's NEON colored! Titzuki created these mesh UV facepaints that are pretty friggin' awesome. However I must advise you NEED advanced modification skills to get these to fit your avatar's face. So if you like looking fabulous and enjoy puzzle games, try it out! There are 6 designs, Electric Geisha (shown), Hannya, Lotus, Paloc, Tribal Skull, and War. As you can see I went with the Electric Geisha, because I really loved the design and it was two colors I adored. I kept the style relatively simple and similar to something I've worn to an actual glow rave in the RL, save for the hair color. Did you know Moon hair has glitter variants of their textures? Well, they do and they come with each and every color pack. Glittery orange hair? Heck yes! I went with a green eyeshadow and a metal halter top from Zibska, bright glowing green eyes from Dead Apples, and a pose from Boys To The Bone (Jack's poses are amazing and are actually realistic) to achieve my UV glow rave.

Freedom Abandon

Unlike many, I am not afraid of the color green. In fact, it's actually my favorite color (well, more specifically chartreuse). This outfit from Zibska that is currently at PENUMBRA A/W FW 2015 is one I am not seeing a lot of people braving to style and enjoy, so I tried my hand at styling it. I actually quite love it because of how out of the norm this outfit is, even for being more on the casual side. Senka features a rigged mesh top and drop crotch pants in standard sizing, as well as two unrigged pieces for the top. The unrigged pieces for the top feature ribbons on the front and sharp looking spikes on the back, reminding me of the the quills of a porcupine. I will be honest and say it is a bit more challenging to fit the unrigged pieces perfectly, but it is not impossible! It just takes a little bit of patience. I decided to put my own dark spin on it with a pitch black bob cut, adding in taped guts from Sinistyle, demon hands and feet form Titzuki (which have appliers), bold makeup from Nuuna, and the perfect green lips from Zibska. For posing, I created my own since there was not much out there that came even remotely close to what I was seeing in my mind; anything else would not portray the feeling of this photo as I intended, even if the interpretation has been left open.

Genesis

The cat is out of the bag... I have a secret love for Brooke Candy. Why? Perhaps because she is the freaky princess! But the reason I'm revealing this is because Titzuki released this original mesh Pitgirl Armor and I screamed in absolute excitement the moment my eyes laid upon it. The Pitgirl Armor and Bracers are available in 5 colors, seperately. There are two bust sizes and three butt versions included however, and the armor is modifiable unrigged mesh so you are sure to get the perfect fit! Brooke is known for wearing amazing metallic armor on more than one occasion, but I went with one of my favorite looks of hers when she was in Grime's Genesis music video. I didn't realize how hard it would be to find long braids in an up do, but I managed to find this one at Boon. The bangs are also from Boon, but are very heavily modified into the V-bang shape you see here, since I was unable to find any bangs that were close enough to the look I wanted. I apologize for that! As for makeup, I went with these eyebrows from Nuuna, eyeshadow and lipstick from Zibska, and this intense cat liner from Moon. As for posing, I created my own pose to capture her body language you see in the video.

Saudade

Saudade: The feeling of longing for someone that you love and is lost.

I can honestly say that this post was one that pushed me out of my comfort zone. I was spending time styling with my dear friend Madeleine, when I asked her to help me choose a gown to blog. She said, "Kay, this one would look incredible on you!" as she pointed to Azul's limited edition recolor of their Esmerelda mesh gown in peridot. Esmerelda comes with a mesh gown in 5 standard sizes, a system layer top, collar, sleeves, and flex-skirts. Green is definitely my favorite color, so I was excited, but instead of going with my usual dark touch... Maddy pushed me to style soft and feminine. I avoided my typical dark makeup, went with lighter colors, and utilized this shawl from Zibska. With a little tinting, I was able to get the PERFECT match that brought out the different tones in the gown. With some dark lace gloves I was able to pull out a little more of the darker tones, but not too much, while my ring (and it is special to me) pulled out the greens and highlights, even though it was very small. As for posing, I had to create my own pose, since I found some that were close, but not quite cutting it. I went with something very longing, as the mood I was in while crafting this post was missing someone special to me.

Cobalt Conjurer

I've been putting much more of my thoughts and emotions into my work lately. This one stemmed from a rather cold feeling, but resulted in something I'm rather pleased with. It's very two-toned, just like the lipstick that Zibska has released for this month's round of Uber! Her Blacktops Lips come with 14 colors, as well as appliers for LeLutka and TMP. Zib has four different lipsticks out and they're all amazing and completely perfect for photos, in my opinion. For this look I decided to use a gown from Topazia I've had for a while, since it has an intense drop-v neckline that went well with the cubic jewelry from Zibska I was wearing. I felt as though the shape of this neck makeup from Nuuna complimented the dress and brought attention to the lipstick. I have to say though, I really do love the intensity of this eyeshadow from Dead Apples and how the shape can be modified by adjusting your eyebrow shape. Finishing out the look I opted for blue hair rather than black, haunting eyes also from Dead Apples, one of my favorite shoulder pieces and hand tattoo, both being from Zibska.

Great Big White World

I don't know why it is, but for some reason I keep finding myself letting out my vampire side into my blogging. Before you ask, Tzimisce. But, this outfit is another example of the different looks you can craft with Zibska's creations. The blazer, skirt, and necklace is a previously released outfit set called Angele. Angele includes a rigged mesh skirt and blazer in five standard sizes, an alpha, and her Estee necklace and earrings in silver. I chose Zibska's Lena 06 lingerie set (which comes with Belleza and Maitreya appliers) to go underneath, because I loved the print and shape of the bra. For boots, bing you guessed it, Zibska again! I'm completely in love with her Svea thigh highs, but that could be my love for thigh high boots speaking for me. Moon's Boa hair was the perfect loose updo for a bit of that sexy factor, plus their white with dark roots was perfection. For a bit more of an edge, I added in White Widow's insidious tattoo, which features a striking owl that sat perfectly framed in the blazer and necklace. For makeup (you guessed it) I went with different sets from Zibska and my favorite liner from cStar Limited, then finished it off with nail polish from Finesmith.

Haute Felidae

Just going to start this post off by saying OMG! Moon Hair collaborated with Vale Koer to bring us this amazing mask and hair combo! I have to say it's been a while since I've seen something of this caliber in collaboration, because the quality of the hair and mask is jaw dropping. Moon kept with her astounding quality in her hair with all of her usual color packs, and Vale Koer brought us a masterfully made mask with 5 gem colors and 5 projection colors, so the materials are seriously phenomenal. Both Silent Acoustic and Bob are amazing at what they do and together, they have created a masterpiece. I decided to style it with a haute flavor, using a sexy gown from Peqe, a perfectly accentuating harness from The Forge, my favorite thigh high boots from Zibska, and a pair of long gloves. Finding a pose I was happy with was a daunting task, so I once again made my own.

Nota Saint

Zibska's work is always inspiring me, filling me with different emotions that power my artwork. This time, Zib inadvertently got me feeling a case of Nostalgia with her Daphne makeup. The moment I saw the color option that was spot on violet and spring green, it made me think back to my SLRDA days. Yes, I used to do Secondlife Roller Derby and even won two awards for Most Improved and Rising Star. I used to skate for DV8's Dreadnoughts, which was the baddest bunch of ladies I had ever met and it was where I met my best friend to this day, Dragon! I was one of the best skaters on that team and at one point the best pivot. Good memories of good times. But enough rambling about that and back to this beautiful makeup. Daphne will be available at the Mesh Body Addicts Fair, comes with 12 options, as well as appliers for TMP. I paired it with another release she will have out at the fair, her Delice lipsticks! Delice comes with 30 colors and appliers for the Lelutka mesh head. I'm definitely in love with these lipsticks, they have the perfect amount of gloss on them and just so dang sexy! I couldn't resist putting on my old uniform that displayed my derby name (that's the same in both RL and SL) Nota Saint and my number 66. The uniforms were not and are not available for purchase sadly, but the gloves for my Slink hands totally are. As for hair, I used to rock a mohawk style, but I decided to go with Requiem from Moon since it was in the same flavor but different enough; Requiem is currently available for July's round of Uber. Finding a pose was tricky since I was not in the mood for making my own, but Apple Spice had my back.

Morning Metamorphosis

"Lost in contemplation."

White Widows strikes again, bringing us a beautiful and feminine tattoo that features elegant swirls, lace, roses, and butterflies. Music Box is available in three colors (Blue, Pink, Dark), three opacities,  and appliers galore for those of us who use mesh bodies and mesh body parts. It is currently available at Event@1st until July 25th! Styling for this I decided to go very simple as not to distract from the intricate detailing of the tattoo. Zibska's Hair Fair 2015 gift pack just so happened to have makeup that just felt... perfect. The gift pack includes a unique jewelry set, this makeup style in 12 colors, these sexy lashes (which are fully tintable), and appliers of course! Speaking of Hair Fair, this hairstyle is one of Moon's styles for Hair Fair 2015! Silent has five new gorgeous styles, but Belle Fleur is definitely my favorite since it's the perfect half face cover and it's just so sexy. I don't know about you, but I'm crazy excited for this year's Hair Fair! When it came to taking the picture, I didn't stop until I found the perfect pose that I could get a lovely side profile and feature the work of the tattoo on the back. Location was a bit of a challenge until I stood looking out the window, lost in contemplation.

Crystal Blue

Not even going to lie, I may be attuned to the darker and alternative fashions, but I'm really loving these gorgeous tropical designs. We still have a couple of days until FashionTropic opens on the 7th, but you can expect tons of beautiful designs. This dress from Dead Dollz is one of my favorites so far. It is a lovely mermaid skirt with a long sleeve croptop in a sunny yellow and sky blue ombre. It is no modify rigged mesh, coming with five standard sizes. I accessorized it with Poute's Plumeria Flower Hair Piece which will also be available at FashionTropic, and Zibska's Liesel set which is currently out for a Game of Thrones inspired medieval event. Liesel is an unrigged, modifiable jewelry set that includes a pair of earrings, a collar, and a necklace that all come with 10 metal and 10 stone colors controlled via HUD. For hair and cosmetics I went with one of my favorite moon hairs (which is a beautiful fishtail braid), my favorite eyeliner in SL, eyeshadow from Zibska, and Ghee's Tropical Mix Nails which are part of Ghee's Mix & Match Beachwear collection. I really loved how this look came together, so I ran over to a lovely tropical beach for a quick shoot.

Malevolence

Darker looks are my specialty, especially when it comes to drop dead gorgeous latex. I know I've used these boots recently, but I couldn't resist using them again for this outfit. This bodysuit comes with appliers, so I was able to use it with my Maitreya mesh body. The gloves did as well, and they're absolutely stunning! For my accessories I went with a more simple but cute collar a friend of mine made, a shoulder piece and a headpiece from Zibska. I felt they went well together since they both had the antler elements. Greer has 8 ruffle colors and 4 antler colors, while Sentinel has 10 skull textures and 20 antler textures with two separately texturable antlers. They're both unrigged, modify, and I found them very easy to fit. not to mention they go together wonderfully! Hair was not a problem to find, since Moon had this really gorgeous side style that worked perfectly for what I was envisioning. For posing I decided to go with something different than I normally do. Apple Spice had the perfect pose for what I envisioned, so it was all the matter of putting together my set. Last minute however I felt like I jsut needed something... I wasn't sure. Knife? Magick scepter? Sword? No. Riding crop; and Zibska had the perfect one in her Cynthia set. Then it was time to snap the picture! Dead Apple's Phantom Eyes do not have smoke included sadly, that was a little effect I added myself. However I'm sure there are some smoking eye effects out there!

Valhalla Awaits

Admittedly, this outfit was one that I saw and went "Ooooh Shiny..." at then immediately purchased it. That and I had the perfect hair to go with it! Moon's Rajana is a very, very long rigged mesh hair that comes in their normal color packs. Rajana has two versions, one with and one without the golden head chain. I opted for the one with because I felt it suited the golden look and blended well with the laurels. Now the laurels give me more of a Greek feeling for the outfit, but I decided to put my twist on it and make it lean just a little bit towards Valkyrie. I've been searching the marketplace for years, YEARS trying to find a Mjolnir (Thor's hammer symbol/necklace) that I like and was modify. This is much more frustrating than you think... but I finally found one! It just so happened to fit perfectly over the posture collar of the outfit. As far as shoes go, I really couldn't help myself from buying hte matching boots too-- because seriously, look at those sexy boots. For accessories I brought Zibska's Berdgdis back out since it has such a pretty gold and my favorite nail pack from Finesmith. I felt I was done, but when I really looked at what I had, I felt something was... missing. I couldn't for the life of me think of what it was that I exactly wanted to add, then it hit me-- some extravagant makeup that looks like feathers. White Widow had exactly that; Crystal comes with five colors included (Black, Blue, Brown, Gold, and Pink) and the option of with or without eyeshadow for each color. Then that was it, it was perfect! Finding a pose proved harder than I thought, so I opted to make myself a custom pose for holding this scepter and gazing down over the battlefield.

The Call Of The Dawn

This outfit was one that quite magically fell into place. I had first gotten my hands on Zibska's Alerie set and found myself saying, "I wish I could find a good kimono for this..." and not even an hour later Aii had release this stunning rigged mesh kimono. Alerie is an unrigged, modifiable jewelry set that includes a stunning headpiece, necklace, and a pair of earrings. There are 10 metal colors and 12 rose colors, the main part, the chains, the beads, and the roses all being separately color changed via HUD. Aii's Korusetto Kimono is a rigged mesh kimono in 1 size (be sure to try a demo!) and 5 colors (Blue, Red, Purple, Gold, White). It's sooo sexy, I thought it would look wonderful with a bit of a blonde goth flair to it. Zibska's Brid heels definitely finished off the outfit, since they have ten colors and three texturable faces via HUD. So from there, I made myself the perfect pose to show off the sleeve of this gorgeous kimono, then set out for a shoot.

The Traveler

It's definitely been a minute since cStar Limited has put out a new skin (the creator has been super busy RL), but she always comes back with a bang! Khaz is a tribal style skin with colors that contrast beautiful with her dark skin. She's available in ten different tones, coming with Slink Hands/Feet, Phat Azz, and Lolas appliers (Omega appliers in the works). Khaz has four breast size options and includes a pair of beautiful, hand drawn lashes. One of the things I really love about cStar Limited is that the creator is an artistic soul, so each skin is a piece of art. The stories she writes for them brings them further to life and helps me visualize her true intentions for her artwork. Her work is very different than anything else I've seen in Secondlife, which is why I love it to death and back.

Personally, I decided to style Khaz as though she were a traveler that is always exploring the world as she lives the life of a nomad. These armbands and vambraces from Blunderforge were pretty perfect, and because they're unrigged, modifiable mesh, I was able to make a choker for myself with a little modification. I paired it with Gizza's Gypsy Set, which drew me in with the leather and lovely colors. This set comes with a rigged mesh skirt and under-bust corset, each in standard sizing, as well as a system layer bra, a pair of boots, and an animated tambourine. Don't worry, there's an unanimated one for photos included as well! When it came to hair, I originally had some braids, but I decided to go with a long down-do. Moon has this and another gorgeous style out for Kustom9, which are absolutely perfect for roleplay.

Let The Games Begin

"If it's a game you want, I'll play to win."

Well, the title of this post is a not so subtle Hunger Games reference. We all know if it involves competition, blood, and violence, it's a book (and a show, I guess) I'm interested in. When I stumbled upon this outfit from Zibska, I knew I needed to grab it and set out for a shoot. Flavie (and a few other gorgeous ensembles) are a collaboration with Spartin Parx and Alyx Aerallo; and they're absolutely stunning! Flavie includes a rigged mesh jacket, skirt, and boots for Slink high feet that are no modify, as well as an unrigged modifiable headpiece (that's incredibly easy to fit), alpha layer, and shoe base. This outfit is absolutely gorgeous and high class, so I instantly fell in love with it. I decided to add a fur stole to emphasize the wealthy woman of power feel that this outfit says to me. Still it needed one little thing and I wasn't quite sure until I looked down at my hand in the real world. Duh, I needed an onyx ring! So I grabbed my personal favorite one from Sn@tch, then set out for the shoot.

Same Clown, Different World

Intergalactic clown antics.

Lola is a mischievous clown both in the first and second life. Recently she's taken liking to scifi and futuristic themes. I found this outfit from E-Clipse at the Black Fashion Fair and fell in love with it, but I wasn't entirely happy with the first couple stylings I did with it, that is until Lola decided to come out to play. I accentuated the outfit with a harness from Kyoot, a corset from Dark Prophet Designs, and my favorite thong from Dark Diva (previously Sugar Pill). Yet something was still missing... Then it hit me-- my favorite hand tattoo from Zibska. It pulled the red from Lola's makeup into the rest of the outfit without it being overbearing, plus it's to die for. So with an outfit I was happy with, I set out to a favorite Scifi sim for a shoot.

I'm not entirely sure what inspired this outfit, but when I saw what this makeup form Nuuna paired with this beautiful jewelry that Zibska has out for May's round of We <3 Roleplay, the pieces just started falling together. I had to go with something a bit more dark oriented, but I think it gives a bit of an undead vibe. Plus I absolutely love this dress from Peqe, I'm obsessed with it right now. Though I did have some trouble making up my mind on what shoes I wanted to wear with it, but these boots from Razor really called to me.
