The event I've been impatiently waiting is finally here! Multiverse is open until the 15th and is packed full of cyber fashion goodies and all sorts of goodies that come to mind when you think of your favorite Sci-Fi media. As soon as I saw the skin Soul was releasing and the cybernetic arm from SWaGGa I KNEW exactly what direction to take with my styling.

But of course you cant stop there. Where there is latex around I will play and MV never ceases to amaze me with the detail in their texture work. And of course no look is complete without accessories and the perfect nail polish, yes I know I have a nail polish problem don't judge, so I had to compleate the look with one of the most perfectly cyber eye pieces I have ever seen from HopScotch and the beautiful polish form Konfin Nails.

Do What You Wanna Do

Guys! Guys! I can finally share why I was really slow to pick up blogging this month! The first week of December I was selected to take part in the December issue of ECLIPSE Magazine's Ways to Wear section. This round was special because it pits bloggers against certified models. So I was assigned three different items and had to come up with a look for each of them. Luckily for me that was the hard part, as the wonderfully talented Anderian Sugarplum was in charge of the photography for the magazine. Beautiful Torment

I've noticed so many using butterflies as a symbol of beauty. Well, they certainly are a pretty creature, but not all of them are as innocent as you would believe. That's right, there is a species of carnivorous butterfly and I'm being eaten alive. The reason behind this? Beauty can come with wonderful perks and good things, but there can also be a terrible, underlying torment within. So to achieve this look, I played with a couple items from Aii. The first being the blood and butterflies. The Filthy Crimson Butterflies include three tattoo layers of different blood intensity (with appliers), various attachment butterflies that flap their wings while perched on you, and your own little swarm of butterflies to flutter around you not unlike buzzards. This was so dark and paid homage to one of my favorite games, Fatal Frame 2 (also called Project Zero 2). For shoes I went with Aii's Death Geta, which are unrigged mesh and include a texture change HUD for three different fabrics and metal options. For a bit more of a disturbing touch, I went with Zibska's Visitante Eyes & Makeup set, and Titzuki's Demon Hands & Feet Paint. With a messy hairdo from Truth and freshly made pose, I put together a dark landscape set and snapped the photo.

Star-Lit Strolls

So I may have gotten a little star struck when wandering around lately. I blame these adorable new wiggling ears I got from BentBox at We <3 Roleplay. It is really hard not to want to play with wiggly ears especially when they come with as many options as these do between the animations, the piercings, and the different tattoo patters you can add on and adjust the color of. I had to have them and I had to play.

And then of course NeverWish had out some new stuff and I really had to play. I may be addicted to her corsets, and I may be willing to admit it, but you will be hard pressed to tell me you are not when you see some of her designs and try them on yourself.

Damned And Divine

Zibska never ceases to amaze me with what stunning and unique jewelry she releases. For this round of On9, Zibska has released Lilit, a gorgeous necklace and earring set. It comes with a necklace, a collar, and a pair of earrings. The necklace beads have 8 colors and the stones have 12 colors, both controlled via HUD. Since it had this gorgeous garnet, I decided to go redhead goth with my style. The outfit came together quite quickly, but what I initially had I was feeling as though something was a little off. I asked a my dear friend Baron Santino his opinon, and he suggested I change the eyes. I ended up going with this supernatural, icy blue that I really love with this look. It fits a bit too well, I'd say. Thank you, Mr. Santino! I must say though, I am really in love with Zibska's Blacktop lips. They have this grey that is a to DIE for two toned goth lipstick. As for the shoot, PosESioN had the right pose I was looking for fierce and sexy lean.

You're Late

"Oh, you're finally here. We were about to begin without you."

Now this particular outfit was one that came together quite fast. I saw this dress and shawl combo at Topazia and absolutely couldn't resist picking up a copy for myself. Melany is available in several colors with a matching fur shawl for each color available separately; this dress comes with a system layer top and a rigged mesh skirt in standard sizing. I loved the collar in the ad for the dress to death but I wasn't sure where it was from... until I looked across the store that is. The sybelle collar is also available in several colors and each color includes gold, silver, and onyx colored spikes.
Needless to say I was excited. Now Misashi is the kind of stylish man that loves to rock a bit of gold in his outfits, so feeling inspired, I took inspiration from that and accessorized with gold. I noticed we were matching quite a bit, except for hair, so I opted for a bun as well for the fun of it. When done styling, I was pretty happy with how it looked, so we both set out for a shoot that was particularly fun.

The morning of my real life birthday was a serene one, filled with love and the sweetest wishes from my cherished friends. I feel so lucky to know such sweet and loving people and even luckier to call them my friends A big thank you and lots of hugs to everyone that wished me a happy birthday, you're absolutely wonderful!!
When it came to logging on SL, it was a wonderful surprise that Finesmith had put out some beautiful gifts for all of us to enjoy. I am particularly fond of Finesmith's GOOD set, which is this gorgeous green with accents of lavender. This set was a one day gift, including a tiara, a pair fo earrings, and a necklace. GOOD, is no modify unrigged mesh with scripted control, so it can be resized to fit perfectly (though I didn't need to resize it at all, it fit perfectly out of the box). I decided to pair this gorgeous jewelry set with a beautiful drop neck gown from Topazia in my favorite colour (I LOVE the colour green for those that didn't know). For makeup I went with neutral colors and for my nails, I'm so in love with Finesmith's appliers for Slink, so I absolutely had to use their Solid set (which comes with 16 options included). I'm really loving this look, so I'm probably not going to take it off for a couple of days.

The Evening Blues

Blue and yellow are definitely one of my favorite color combinations, partially because I was born in the Ukraine and they're the color of my home country's flag. The other part of the reason is they're beautiful colors alone, but when they're put together, they are eye completely catching. Invert by Finesmith is currently available in two colors, this lovely blue/yellow and a black/red combination. When shopping I almost went with black/red, but I decided to be daring and play with colors I haven't played with in a while. Invert is no modify, unrigged mesh jewelry set that includes a pair of earrings, a headpiece, a necklace, and an armband. Full bright, shiny, and resize is controllable via scripts.
There was a dress from Topazia that I had my eye on, but couldn't for the life of me choose from the eight beautiful colors (Black, Red, Brown, Pink, Copper, Cyan, Purple, & Blue). That is until it clicked, Invert would pair perfectly with this gorgeous gown! Alaina includes a rigged mesh dress and a separate rigged mesh dress collar, both in standard sizing. When it came to hair and makeup I wanted to go with something being a matching color and something being contrasting. I ended up going with a lovely red hair color and lipstick to match, then using one of Zibska's gorgeous neon eyeshadows to pull some yellow into my makeup. I finished the look off with a manicure from Finesmith before I set out to shoot this look.

Toxic Transcendence

When Aii, The Ugly & Beautiful came out with this cloak, admittedly the first thing that came to my mind was I needed to use this for an archer. Seeing as I've played the Dota games and League of Legends, I decided to draw inspiration from both Drow Ranger and Ashe, splice them together, then throw in my own touches. This cloak is single size rigged mesh, coming with a bodysuit on SL tattoo layers (with and without stockings), as well as appliers for TMP and Maitreya (Slink doesn't seem to be supported). I felt like something was missing from this look until I had stumbled upon Zibska's Ailith Donna jewelry at On9 (formerly L'accessoires), which was perfect in my opinion. This jewelry is HUD controlled with 16 color options for the main piece and accent, as well as modify for easy fitting!

So I was dragged to White Widow today by Kaylith and I totally accept the reason why. This tattoo screamed "DRAGON! This outfit from Zibska stood out and spoke to me the moment I saw it. Perhaps it was the insectoid creatures, perhaps it was the bright and vibrant mask? Either way I grabbed a copy as soon as I was finished marveling over it. It's limited edition to only 20 copies, so if you like it you best hurry and grab a copy before it's gone! For some reason a fluffier hair is what stood out to me when I was styling up this look, so I trusted my impulses and went with it.

Out Of The Darkness

So how about the skin fair right? I have totally fallen in love with Soul since rediscovering her work at the fair this year. This time I braved fitting one of the new mesh Kissers to my shape, and as I was thinking it was far too easy with all the tools she provides with the mouths. Not only did I explore her stall at the booth and take in more of the variety, but I wandered back to her shop and found the awesome variety of fantasy ears she has created. I think this set will be my new favorite when I decide to go a little fantasy but I suspect I will be going back for more. Anyways time for the pretty so I can get back to sharing more sexiness form the Skin Fair!

Anyways I know I seem to have a rose thing going on lately but you can blame the creators for that because for the past 2 months roses have been like the flower to appear on all the things. But this post started being plotted back before Valentines day when Jaimy leaked the preview for these shoes and I already knew then I had to have them. And I have to say this is one of those times where "Good things come to those who wait" defiantly applies.

As soon as I saw the final advertisement (which I totally had to post too because it is a work of art in itself - Go Fave the Picture on Flickr) I was floored, and thus I spent the free time I had opening day of Whore Couture spamming to teleport into the sim just to buy the shoes and the body jewelry. Of course RL had other things to say by the time I got in and could start styling it but hey again good things come to those who wait...

Yin & Yang

So I know I've been MIA for just over a month, but I swear it was partially with good reason. See I took a vacation (this was much needed and long overdue), which sadly ended with me having a (thankfully mild) case of the shingles, BUT by the time I was over that all of the parts for my NEW COMPUTER came in and I spent the time in between the holiday festivities building it and learning a few new tricks now that I have a graphics card that can handle them. So with the new year I am planning some changes to the blog starting with my photography! First up Ultra graphics tweaking windlights to my needs and SHADOWS!
