Morbid Intentions

This very morbid mind of mine will set your course into and early grave.

It's been a long while since I've played with horns, but getting to play with Aii's new gacha accessories for The Fantasy Gacha Carnival was irresistible. I could have gone with something scarier, but I decided to take a much more elegant approach. I aimed for primarily monotone with touches of red for color. Aii also recently released these fantasy eyebrows that really tickled my fancy; they come in black and white with appliers included. My outfit was nearly complete after I had finally figured out what hair I wanted to use (this voluminous sexy style from Moon), but I couldn't quite figure out what was missing. That is until I laid my eyes on this necklace that Zibska has out for We <3 Roleplay's 2nd birthday! It's elegant, beautiful, has included matching earrings, and comes with several HUD controlled color options. So once I was happy, I brought out one of my favorite structures and just moved a few piece around for the shoot.

One Look & You're Mine

Keep your eyes on me.

So Dragon and I definitely went hand in hand at what we bought and hoarded from Pose Fair 2015. One of the things that I know we both saw and went "O..M..G!!" at was this pose prop from WetCat. I couldn't help but to want to play with it. Normally I play boy when it comes to poses like this, but this time I decided I wanted to have a little fun on the pole. With the help of Hadet, my sharply dressed companion, I was able to pull it off in a way I didn't expect. The original concept didn't end up working out, but this is definitely a pleasant surprise. All the while I definitely enjoyed flaunting this gorgeous red lingerie, with lips to match. Not to mention the entire time I was formulating this shoot, I had Mia Martina's song Beast stuck in my head.

Thorns of Dilemma

I'm just going to go ahead and start this post off by saying that goats are pretty cool looking creatures. Now having a unique, one of a kind dress with teeny goats in it? Oh yeah, I love it! Wearing this dress, I felt inspired to go a bit showgirl, but yet I felt like something was missing. During the shoot, My favorite vampire, Dare Munro, had popped online and dropped by to visit me. He seemingly felt like something was off too, which lead him to point me towards EMO-tions hair, where I found the style that jumped out at me. Still something was missing, but I wasn't paying much mind to it-- however, Dare does what the hell he wants and what he basically said "This." It was too perfect!

You may be wondering about this dress. Well, it's Zibska's creation for this month's round of The Instruments, the theme being extreme fashion. It includes the dress base, the skirt, the headpiece, a goat on a stick, and a beautiful matching makeup. The dress base is rigged, coming in standard sizing while the attachments are unrigged, modify, and easy to fit. If you like unique fashion, you'll probably love this dress.

For The Love of Icarus

Fly not close to the sun, lest we fall.

After a very long, stressful, and incredibly busy week I was able to finally sit down and relax. These gorgeous crystallized wings from Aii absolutely floored me the moment I laid my eyes on them. They are actually animated, having a gentle floating bob and accenting particles that give them a true magical feel. They come in five colors (Dark, Fire, Ice, Water, & Winter), and are unrigged, modifiable mesh. I couldn't help but want to take to the skies and fly, just finding the right things to achieve the effect I was going for was a fun little challenge.

I started off at Argrace with their lovely windblown hair, I already owned it in black, so I figured white would be fun to play with. Next, while spoiling one of my best friends to put a smile on her face, I came across a blindfold from Boom. I felt compelled to get the white one. From there I thought, let's play with some whites and greys and just see what happens. I ended up with the look you see here, but I wasn't quite satisfied because the scarves were blown in the other direction-- Thank you Lelutka for making them modify! Since they're sculpted, I was able to manually mirror them and achieve the look I desired. From there, I played and flew around.

Hands of Regrowth

The damage has been done, it is time to grow again.

One of the things things I really love about Aii, is the fact she is one of the few creators in Secondlife that creates strange and beautiful things. I'm completely honored to be able to blog and create art with her creations! Seeing as I have an affinity for eyeballs and plants, her Ivy Growth made me squee with absolute delight. The fact that she had matching animated mesh eyes made it even better! This strange and lovely ivy growth comes in four colors (Pink, Gold, Violet, & Red), a glowing version using a subtle light, and animated eyes in the flowers. The pasties are unrigged mesh while the facial/neck piece is rigged mesh. Her Youkai animated mesh eyes feature a pulsing pupil, a glow option and come in seven colors (Crimson, Gold, Green, Ice, Pinku, Purple, & Teal). the multitude of extra arms are also from Aii, and are rigged mesh with single pair options and UV maps included, so you can retexture them to match perfectly.

Now this skin is a recent release from cStar Limited, her name being Angie. She's a fresh and lovely face with little makeup, a soft beautiful body with fine details, and uniquely colored features on each skin tone. Oh also, she comes in 140 (Yes, one hundred and forty) skin tones! She currently is available in gacha to play, but there is a reseller vendor you can look through to see if someone sold back your desired tone. If not, you can always trade with other cStar fanatics.

All I Feel is Strange

I'm nothing but strange in the delusion of a perfect world.
You can definitely tell I've got some inspiration from Kerli up in this style. It all started when I found this hair from Runaway and paired it with this gorgeous lingerie from Violent Seduction. Being, well, strange I couldn't help but give her a little bit of a sinister or rather undead look... That's kind of my thing. Speaking of undead, I was looking for a new pair of undead eyes since my others were getting a little bit over used. I found myself at Dead Apples since it has been a while since last shopping there, and boy did I find the PERFECT eyes. But how come no one told me Dead Apples was making awesome skins?! I totally had a "What! I need this!" moment and bought their Ari skin (and slink appliers) in Porcelain immediately. Needless to say, I'm pretty much in love.

Dead Apple's Ari skin comes in five tones (sold separately- Porcelain, Honey, Summer, Latte, & Choco), and includes tons of options. There's 10 eyebrow options (including no brows), 4 lip options, 3 freckle options, 1 cheek shape option, 1 dewy effect for the face, and an included reference shape. There's also 3 handy eyebrow shapes included. For appliers, they have them available for Wowmeh, Loudmouth, Slink hands/feet, Tangos, and Azz.

Born in the Wrong Generation

So if you're looking at this photo and the first thing you think is Red Hot Chili Peppers or a hint of Nirvana, then you're right. I was listening to my favorite albums while styling this look, setting up the set, and working on it in photoshop. I sometimes feel like I was just born in the wrong generation, or a generation too late. But that's okay, because the musicians I adore will live on through their music.
Anywho now about the outfit itself, I was able to get my hands on a copy of cStar Limited's Jessie skin in Shine. I absolutely love how it looks on my shape and as I looked at it, I though... This looks like she could be a pretty kickass musician. So I grabbed my favorite skinny jeans from MoiMoi, a tartan shirt from Miel, and some classic sneaks from Deco. I picked up my guitar, turned on my amp and got ready to play!

Human Error

This post has been a long time coming, and here it is! I've been meaning to do a latex and vinyl clad cybergoth style post. I had not felt any inspiration to do it until Neuro// took me as a blogger. I wanted to do something with their Tight Delight corsets, but I wasn't sure what. The story is the same on the make-up I got from +Nuuna+, the hair from Alice Project and the eyepiece I got from [SonnenKorp]. Then I frickin' realized they all fit together! So I went a little scantily clad and ran around to find the perfect spot for this picture. You know where I ended up? An awesome apartment building by Pandemonium.
I think my favorite thing about this outfit is the optics eyepiece from [SonnenKorp]. It's an unrigged, quality mesh with quality texturing. It's completely modify and scaleable with clean and dirty texture variants. the lenses are separate faces too, so you can tint them to any color as well as change the glow, shininess, etc. In my opinion it's a pretty badass touch to any Scifi, Cyber, or even mechanical type outfit. I wear it all the time with my techpriest look! Enough of my rambling though.

Monotone Sea Shanty

Today I took a trip to the beach, and you know what I found? Awesome stuff from Malfean Visions, that's what! Everyone that knows me, knows I love comfy and cool clothing for warm summer mornings. So what's better than taking your favorite collared shit, unbuttoning it, then tying it up sexily? Wearing the matching, airy capris. What's even better? Nothing is over the amount of an upload, except the combo pack that comes with a matching bikini, of course. Personally, I like the Antique color of the set, but hey, there's five other colors you might just love.

So after I chose what my favorite set was while I was there, I dropped by Truth to see what was new. O. M. G! Truth's new hair by the name Storm read Kaylith all over it-- so naturally I got it immediately. I really loved it in white, so I grabbed my favorite white browed skin form cStar. Last I grabbed my favorite choker from HoD and set out to take a picture. Mid-way through the shoot I didn't like the eyes I was wearing, but then I realized The Sugar Garden had a special VIP gift out for their gorup members. The eyes are dark, glossy and alluring; they are also appropriately named Dark Skies. Totally awesome! Enough rambling though.

Momento Mori

     I have to say Kamelot is probably one of my favorites bands ever, especially their albums Epica and The Black Halo. I had been listening to them the other day when a particular song titled Momento Mori really made me feel something powerful, especially the following lyrics:

"Who wants to separate,
The world we know from our beliefs,
And who sees only black and white,
Distinguish loss from sacrifice,
Some day we may come to peace,
With the world within ourselves,
And I will await you,
Until I close my eyes... close my eyes... close my eyes..."

     So with that playing in my mind over and over again, I set out to create a look based on how the song made me feel.

     Of course things went quite Gothic as you can tell, but that happens with me quite a bit. So I went with something pretty with my own flair to it. It just so happened I was in love with a new acquired, but older, cStar skin. I was wearing her around the Fantasy Fair went I happened to find a dress that called my name and I absolutely just HAD to have! My problem was I had no idea what shoes to wear with it though; that is when my friend Lindsey Warwick popped in and told me about some new platform boots she made! With the name being Crushers<3 I was interested. So I popped over to her store and fell in love! She has numerous colors, including discounted flame print ones specific to her in-world location. I grabbed as many as I could hold! It was to my surprise though that her HUD is very simple and easy to use. Not to mention color packs can be mixed and matched. I was so epic jazzed about it!

     After I had found the PERFECT boots to go with this look, I found a pretty flower head piece and a monotone clutch in my inventory that were begging to be used. I originally had a blonde hair with this look too, but something about it didn't seem quite right, so I didn't blog the look right away. I did however go to the Truth Hair sale with one of my closest friends, Jasmine. With her knowledge, she knew that there was a ponytail waiting there for me that I would absolutely love. I wasn't quite sure on it at first, but after buying it and trying it on in Pearl, she was so friggin' right! <3 My look was complete!

     Lastly, I headed over to a certain monotonous dark carnival out on the grid with one of my favorite Apple Spice poses. Pictures were taken and I was very happy with the results! <3

Not Your Silver Angel

So the Big Boobies Show is back again, and The Sugar Garden is totally participating! They have created and released quite the sexy wrap top for busty and non-busty ladies alike. Available in Baby Blue, Baby Pink, Black, Hot Pink, Lavendar, Red, Silver Sparkle (My favorite and shown) and white; that's a total of eight friggin' awesome colors. I'm also epic excited because I've finally gotten a new pair of rigged mesh hands from Slink (feet too, but you can't see those in the pic), and I seriously love them. These are probably the best mesh hands (and feet) I have ever owned in my time of Secondlife. Not to mention they come in standard sizing, too! The HUDs are simple and easy to use with easy chat commands for putting in RGBs. Each have several different skin and nail textures as well as options to save your favorite settings. What I love the most about them is that they can be tinted and colormatched to almost any skin tone, and before you ask, I totally went and saw how many skins I could colormatch them to. Anyways, I totally recommend the hands and feet from Slink as well as the sexy top from The Sugar Garden.

Big Boobs and News to Match

So as said before, The Rainbow Fashionista has a new side-kick! It feels so epic awesome to have joined in on the awesomeness that is this blog. Dragon and I have been close friends for as long as I can remember, so working with her and contributing to her blog feels like a dream come true. I loves you, Draggy! <3
Now for another fun subject, boobies! cStar Limited has finally released appliers for the Lolas Tango mesh breasts, available in all the currently used tones. For those of you who still love the older tones, don't worry~ I hear talk that there will be appliers added in for the older tones as well. The appliers are simple to use (those who already use Tangos know this) and they're epic affordable-- only 50L! So if you're a big breasted girl who loves cStar as much as I do, I really recommend picking up the cStar Limited Skin appliers. Naturally to show them off, I grabbed one of cStar's newest skins, The Slut Skin (college edition) in amber and the matching tone applier. I absolutely love this skin for it's make-up as well as the fact it was the first skin Dragon was a print model for. I'm so proud, SQUEE!! Draggy

I think I have decided that Ghani of +Blue Blood+ is the most crazy sweet creator I know. Yesterday morning I woke up to a message from Ghani that she had managed to get one of the mesh templates to work for her finally, and that there was an adorable dress on the way. Then she took it one step further and she decided "Draggy" was a fitting name for the dress because it "fits a little girl that has helped [her] a lot lately." Never did I expect such a sweet gesture from so awesome a creator, all I wanted to do was help and I guess that's how this all started.

The adorable, flirty, fun dress comes in five beautiful colors (Black, Pink, Purple, Red, and Teal). It is not yet available but will be announced on the +Blue Blood+ Blog when it is.
