We are all connected.

I've had this jewelry set for some time and have been meaning to blog it, but I just didn't get around to it. now that I've taken a step back from many of my sponsors, I can focus solidly on that which inspires me. This lovely set from Finesmith did just that! Galactic comes with a headpiece (not shown), a tiara, a necklace, earrings, and a ring. I decided to keep the style simple... super simple, by doing an artistic nude. I used this gorgeous long style from Little Bones in her Gossamer pack, which are gorgeous pastels with dark roots. They matched perfectly! As for makeup, I went with soft, shimmery makeup from Zibska, eyeliner from cStar, and nails from A:S:S. Noteably the eyeshadow from Zibska is included in the makeup fatpack she has out for The 100 Block. You can get all of the makeup she has out in one fatpack, for a deal! To give emotion to the style, I used some tintable tattoo eyebrows. I couldn't find any poses weird enough for the concept in my head, so I made my own.

Solitary

With this look, I felt like playing with Titzuki's Slit Tee! The Slit Tee is a unisex item, but it does not have a version with breasts however, it's for more flat-chested and androgynous looks. Make sure to try a DEMO! I'm kind of in love with androgyny for some reason, not sure why, but it's pretty awesome. So I ended up going blonde goth and playing off of my RL looks a tiny bit. I kept the styling simple with a pair of fingerless gloves for slink hands, my favorite collar, an older pair of stockings I had in my inventory, a pair of awesome gothic platform boots, and a thing little thong to add a sense of provocative. For makeup I went with my favorite combination as of late, which is an eyeshadow from Zibska, an eye line from Nuuna, matte black nails, and the lips are from a makeup I made several months ago but never got around to releasing. I'm probably going to release it here soon, but if you can't wait, just ask me in world! I really must bring some attention to this hair however... I LOVE super long hair and Moon put out one that's pretty to die for. It's a little hard to pose with because of how long it is, but I really don't care, I love the length and the quality of her textures. Also all of Moon's new hair is modify, so you can totally tint it for the PERFECT shade! I don't know about you, but Moon got +50 awesome points from me. As for the shoot, I found a little cigarette prop that I got from some ash tray somewhere, made my own pose, then set out for the shoot.

Fundamental Obscurity

Not much get me excited more than something that is far from the norm and unique. Well, the creations of Titzuki are worming their way into my dark little heart. It started with the Pitgirl Armor, and now it's the Spacejam suit; COME ON AND SLAM! Notably this suit is very androgynous, so for the ladies that really like to be busty, this is meant for flat-chested looks! The Spacejam suit is available in three colors (white, grey, black), separate male and female versions, and there's a separate accessory HUD that allows you to customize your suit a bit. In the accessory HUD, there are 8 strap options and 6 metal options; I opted  for the silver metal and the font straps, mostly because I thought the font looked really cool. For styling, I went with a half'n'half ombre style from Little Bones, achieved by combining the ink dipped and landslide HUDs. With eyes, I did the same! For makeup I went with my favorite sexy, smokey eyeshadow form Zibska, blacktop lipstick from Zibska (which I'm absolutely in LOVE with), and a partial face makeup from Nuuna. Fingerless gloves and cross nails were a necessity, but don't get me started on shoes. I exhausted my extensive collection of platform boots and shoes trying to find the perfect shoes for this outfit and it was one hell of a hunt to find them. As for the shoot, I created a custom leaning pose as I perched high above on a single dark column among the light ones. Now excuse me while I get back to slam jamming!

Whispers In The Dark

Fate has an interesting way of making things happen. In a turn of events, there was a designer at Penumbra Autumn/Winter Fashion Week 2015 that wasn't featured in blogging as much as they really should have been. I popped in to look at her items and was amazed, because they are a Gothic dream! La Nuit A Paris includes a rigged mesh dress in standard sizing, a rigged mesh jacket, rigged mesh leg warmers (all are Maitreya/slink compatible) and rigged mesh shoes for slink feet. Miss Anderian Sugarplum and I both instantly bought it in our favored colors, then thought, what if we blog it together? Needless to say I was excited, so we headed over to the photo platform to style. With a little hunting we each found perfect Gothic accessories that beautifully complimented this dress. Anderian styled this dress with a soft, wavy hairstyle that reminded me of the beautiful Dita Von Teese, dark lipstick, a detailed dark ring, blue tipped stiletto nails, pierced ears, and a necklace that is incredibly detailed, dark, and delicate. I love love love her style!! I went a bit more frilly with mine, using lacy wrist cuffs, leather pauldrons, my favorite Gothic cross collar, a lacy garter tattoo, dark cross stiletto nails, and sleek, raven black hair. For the shoot we headed over to one of the absolute best Gothic sims in SL, found the perfect spot, and let the shutters of our cameras do the rest of the talking!

Between The Lines

I think it's safe to say every gothling has a soft spot for stripes, or at least I do, especially vertical stripes. Zibska released her Alise dress for the PENUMBRA AWFW 2015, and it made me positively scream in excitement! Alise is a floor-length rigged mesh gown in standard sizing, including an unrigged headpiece and bustle. I of course went with dark, beautiful makeup also from Zibska. For accessories, I went with this beautiful mesh necklace from Meva (which is high quality mesh, beautifully textured, detailed, and modify), a ribbon choker, and my favorite little birdie ring from Zibska. I very much like to keep my accessorizing more on the simple side, so that they eyes can easily travel over the entire photograph and see the beautiful details of the creations I am honored to showcase in my artwork. As for posing, yet again I created my own pose to capture what I envisioned.

Same Clown, Different World

Intergalactic clown antics.

Lola is a mischievous clown both in the first and second life. Recently she's taken liking to scifi and futuristic themes. I found this outfit from E-Clipse at the Black Fashion Fair and fell in love with it, but I wasn't entirely happy with the first couple stylings I did with it, that is until Lola decided to come out to play. I accentuated the outfit with a harness from Kyoot, a corset from Dark Prophet Designs, and my favorite thong from Dark Diva (previously Sugar Pill). Yet something was still missing... Then it hit me-- my favorite hand tattoo from Zibska. It pulled the red from Lola's makeup into the rest of the outfit without it being overbearing, plus it's to die for. So with an outfit I was happy with, I set out to a favorite Scifi sim for a shoot.

The binding words of magick.

Mother's Day was an incredibly rough day for me since I lost my mother back in late 2013, so I was feeling uninspired the day of and days prior because my heart was hurting. However, the artist that is the owner and creator of Keystone handed me a blogger's box. I felt really honored when I opened the box to find this gorgeous jewelry set, then especially so when I saw that it's limited edition and only 200 sets are available for the duration of The Fantasy Gacha, then it's gone forever. The attention to detail on this jewelry set is jaw dropping in my opinion, because not only is it stunningly beautiful, it's also completely efficient and modifiable mesh. The set includes a pair of earrings, a pair of armlets, a bellychain, and an elegant headpiece. The set includes two metals (Gold, Dark Silver), and two gems (Onyx, Purple), with all options included (Gold/Purple, Gold/Onyx, Dark Silver Purple, Dark Silver Onyx). So if you love roleplay, fantasy, or just want to rock a unique jewelry set, I'd recommend grabbing your copy before it's gone forever! When I was styling up I initially started with a very gothic gown, but I realized it was distracting from the jewelry and I wanted the jewelry to be the main focus of this shoot. So I did a little shopping and went with a more simple camisk from Soedara that still paid homage to my dark tastes, yet let the jewelry take main focus. It included Slink Physique appliers, so I just HAD to have it. Finding a pose was pretty impossible for the look I wanted to achieve, so I ended up making one just for this shoot.

Raznyye

Different.

As much as my style is primarily dark, my favorite color of all time is actually chartreuse. Anyone that knows me, knows that I geek out over anything I find in that color and I need to own it immediately. Moon just so happened to release a new neons HUD with two new hairs at UBER, which includes a color that I just NEEDED. The new colors are so vibrant, bright, and beautiful! I paired it with this dress form Zibska, which has 9 different colors on three separate texturable pieces (Bra, Panties, Dress) and four metal textures. Now playing with neon is fickle because there's always a tendency to want to take it too far to the point it becomes an eyesore to look at. With mine, I placed it on pale skin with complimenting colors and a bit of black to make it stand out, yet still be controlled. So with finaly touches of makeup and striking a sexy pose, I was definitely happy with how it came out.

Let me just say right now I'm a table top nerd. If you are in the same realm, you'll know real fast what I channeled in this post. If not, I was running a muck as an unholy sister of battle, heavily inspired by Warhammer 40k. My chainsword was revving, hungering for blood, as I was firing off my bolter into the enemy troops and shouting "FOR THE GLORY OF CHAOS!"

A while ago Heretech had released this full armor set in a variety of colors (including a sponge and tie dye pattern for some reason). It's 100% original, handmade mesh with 100% original textures and specular maps. The corset and neck tubing is rigged while all other pieces are unrigged and modify so you can fit them, with a variety of alpha layers included. After I was armored up I needed to find just the right hair and spent an hour or two looking until I realized that MOON had created the perfect bob style! I was completely jazzed, so I grabbed my final touches. This hand tattoo and nails from Zibska gave me the effect I was looking for (several colors included, not just red), so I grabbed my bolter and chainsword then headed out.
