Eyes Of The Beholder

Because Atooly Hunts are awesome, and well they happen often, but are short sweet and full of win I'm gonna showcase the one happening RIGHT NOW!

All of the awesome colors and a summer time theme! So many awesome items in this hunt it is totally worth doing! I just don't have time to show them all off so check out the HUNT BLOG and run through this short hunt to get them all for yourself! In the mean time here is a taste!

Atooly and Cute Poison have both totally grabbed my attention lately, I just hadn't figured out how to blog some of their awesome new stuff until now. Lie headbands, they normally just make me go RAWR! but I couldn't pass up these adorakable bow ones from Atooly especially with matching rings and the fact that they match the hunt color theme (be it accidental twist of fate or on pourpose) didn't hurt either. And Cute Poison finally got me to pull out my flat Slink feet for these shoes! And because I spent hours dealing with figuring this out the hard way... Slink have a tintable feet version which is totally win for matching to a skin from one of those awesome skin stores that haven't made appliers for the slink stuff yet, the downside is these versions don't work with ANY APPLIERS, and thus the pretty nail packs that are popping up all over the place don't work with them. So thus leading me to breaking down and buying this awesome skin that I had been oggling form afar at Pink Fuel that I had been putting off buying because of the price, but really it is totally worth it. For 1,600L$ I got not only a sexy skin with tons of basic options but I also got a metric ton of makeup layers and then wandered over to get the feet appliers. So yes I feel guilty leaving my cStar skins in my inventory for this look (especially since I was having a hard time choosing between a few), but for having to leave my safe haven I feel I made a really good choice. Rambles, rambles, where was I.... Oh yeah and this outfit! My friend Skyler at Pins & Needles has been doing some awesome rigging for AngelRed thus leading to her awesome mesh creations that spawn from playing with the mesh she makes! (Psst! In Full Bloom

Atooly Hunts is at it again and this time their them is SPRING! So from April 10th to May 10th there is a great spring themed hunt with a ton of great prizes to go after!

And now to ramble and show off the little en-sable and back drop I put together using just a few items form this great hunt!

First off I have to say I LOVE the adorable little bird that is on my shoulder! If you click it it chirps and flaps it's wings! Totally want to cuddle it. I also love the Daisy poses that Nani Poses put out I had such a hard time choosing between the 5 poses and settled on this one because it showed off more of my front too. And -me- doing a backdrop?!? So very unlike me, but the bench and flower pot were just calling my name and it was too hard to resist!

Is This What You Wanted?

I warned Kehl that his new Jacket would be the cause of me going boobless and by-golly it was. I spent an hour trying to find one of my female shapes that agreed with it and gave up and borrowed a shape one of my friends made for her male alt. But the Jacket is TOTALLY worth it and you need to encourage any man you know to go grab it at the Men's Department right now while it's on sale!

So yes, I spent my morning making a pretty man avi, and when Kaylith saw she pounced on me and demanded a picture. Rare that it is that I go male and she stays female we had lots of laughs as I tried to keep up the male attitude as we were pose hunting. Needless to say I ended up on the pink poseball a few times by pure not remembering that I was the one "wearing the pants in the relationship" today. Also going to point out that I am totally wearing a FEMALE skin. Just goes to show how versatile cStar skins are. In the right lighting and with a slight Drag Queen edge you can make a macho man come to life.

Your Love Has Torn Me Apart

With Valentines Day rapidly approaching and themed stuff at every turn I took this opportunity to not only show off some of the awesome stuff a few of my favorite creators have made but also to vent a little of my S.A.D steam off at the same time. But for starters lets do a quit hunt with only 25 stores and awesome prizes at all of them! I knew going into the post that I was gonna have to use pink, no matter how much I hate it, after seeing the necklace from Cute Poison I knew I had no choice as the outfit started to form in my head. From there my mind went straight to all of the torn/broken Valentines pieces because well, let's face it, my first Valentines 'alone' since I joined SL is bound to be rather bitter. Yes, I have my awesome friends and my sexy Kaylith (One of my Best Friends whom I'm partnered to) but I do long for cuddles with a guy, I'm just that kind of girl. So after finding the corner set from Inspired, the stiches where my heart should be tattoo from Half-Deer, and the "Happy Fucking Valentine's Day" Shirt from Yulice among the collection from hunting I knew I was ready with a few of the things I already had in my inventory. The veil that Half-Deer came out with this morning for SL Fashion Week was just the icing on top of the cake.

Frosty Winter

Atooly Hunts is putting on another great hunt right now with a Winter/Christmas theme. I am one of the lucky bloggers for this great set of designers and their awesome hunt freebies so now I shall present the Hunting for Winter Hunt!

This hunt was slightly different from the Falling into the Season Hunt, because there were 2 color swatches that the participating stores could use. The stores could use a Christmas themed swatch or just a general winter themed swatch to make their goodies and there is a good mix in the prizes.

But now it is time for me to give you a small peek at the goodies before sending you off to the blog to see more or just to go start the hunt since it is a FREE HUNT!

I had to make a complete look out of all this awesomeness and the more wintry blue stuff was calling to me so I made myself into a frost queen, and set myself as a pin up in the quaint little house that is one of the hunt gifties.

I loved the art on the walls of the house and had to stick with the antlered theme once I saw the jewelry in the hunt too. Also you should totally click over to my Flickr and zoom in to the details on the under-eye makeup and the ring (It matches the necklace pendant), because the details on them are amazing or just go find them in the hunt yourself!

Falling Into Fall

I was one of a handful of selected bloggers to be an official blogger for the Falling into the Season Hunt hosted by Atooly Hunts. *the part where I do a dance in my chair* This is a really awesome and relatively short Fall themed hunt with only 25 stops but all of the prizes are totally worth the little bit of hunting you have to do for the prizes! Prize Previews! List of stores and their hints! See I am even making the hunt easier on you by showing you all the awesome stuff that Atooly posted on the web to help out the hunters! So there was a catch to the fall themed prizes though, there was a color swatch given to all of the designers that they had to base their prizes around, and the swatch happens to be the background of the hunt sign.

As the pretty hunt sign states, the Hunt stated yesterday and runs through the 23rd, so you have some time but don't procrastinate too long or the leaves you are hunting for might blow away!

But we all know me I can't just ramble about the hunt I have to take pretty pictures and show you some of the awesomeness myself so here it is!

I saw this pose prop and knew on sight in the previews that it would be my poses I totally had to have it cause pumpkins, and leaves, and whimsy pose, Oh My! I also love the shirt that Atooly came out with for the hunt, though my only complaint is she only made 2 colors and that is just the rainbow whore in me screaming for sticking to a color theme. I also loved the PJs that ZINAS came out with and totally loved the stole my boyfriend's shirt and put it on with my PJs feel that I got when I mixed it with the top form Atooly. Now for a closer look at the awesome details!

There are also these awesome prim nails from Laville, its hard to tell but this color has cute little leaves on one of the nails! You will almost never see me wear earrings in SL because most of my hairs will cover them up but between the adorable hair that Alice Project put out with the special Autumn color pack and the beautiful earrings that Ci Co put out I knew that they were a match for this look. And we can't forget this beautifully done skin, I am getting really picky about my skins lately, because cStar has me totally spoiled, but the new designer behind Sui Generis is totally off to a great start with this skin.
