Song of Fire and Ice

So time for something completely different! Yeah this is a stretch for me but I think I've done it... Dreads AND a BLACK SKIN! *gasps all around* I know I've somehow pulled a look with a black skin out on occasion before but it really is hard for me. Though, when I saw the new hair from The Stringer Mausoleum this look literately fell in my lap. You can ask Kaylith I yelled "I call dibs on Metalhead!" as soon as I put on the copy that Helena was nice enough to hand me. Anyways lets show off the look.

And I have to say these mesh lashes I found might be my new favs. I had a hard time deciding on a color and I'm pretty sure I am going back for more before The Kollection is over. Also someone tell Kaylith to get he ass online so I can hand her the Male version of this necklace so we have a matching set. It is available at My Attic for only 95L$ and totally worth it since it comes with both the male and female versions no copy but trans so you can give the other half to your partner in crime! Not gonna forget Razorblade Jacket which once again takes my breath away with this sexy outfit! At first i was hesitant because of the mesh but after trying the demos I knew it would fit like a glove. This just reaffirms to me the great quality that they bring to the table. And before I go I have to show you what SL likes to do to me when I'm in a hurry to take pictures. This is why the post is 2 days later than planed because SL wasted all my time making me fix this.

In the end I was glad that this skin comes with 3 boob options because wearing a different option is the only way I ever got the skin to reappear. I better go back and try and make that skin reappear...

Monotone Sea Shanty

Today I took a trip to the beach, and you know what I found? Awesome stuff from Malfean Visions, that's what! Everyone that knows me, knows I love comfy and cool clothing for warm summer mornings. So what's better than taking your favorite collared shit, unbuttoning it, then tying it up sexily? Wearing the matching, airy capris. What's even better? Nothing is over the amount of an upload, except the combo pack that comes with a matching bikini, of course. Personally, I like the Antique color of the set, but hey, there's five other colors you might just love.

So after I chose what my favorite set was while I was there, I dropped by Truth to see what was new. O. M. G! Truth's new hair by the name Storm read Kaylith all over it-- so naturally I got it immediately. I really loved it in white, so I grabbed my favorite white browed skin form cStar. Last I grabbed my favorite choker from HoD and set out to take a picture. Mid-way through the shoot I didn't like the eyes I was wearing, but then I realized The Sugar Garden had a special VIP gift out for their gorup members. The eyes are dark, glossy and alluring; they are also appropriately named Dark Skies. Totally awesome! Enough rambling though.

So this look has been in the works since Sn@tch released this dress for Woeful Wednesday about a month ago. Twas about the same time that Zombie Suicide first brought out her new epicly awesome Fleshy Horns as well. Anywho I finally brought it to life with the full extent of it's awesomeness now that cStar has come out with her TAO Geisha Collection and I finally had a skin that I felt fit the bill.

 I love how this look came out and the Wrath eyes that Zombie Suicide put out for Perfect Wardrobe just helped nail it down better than I had hoped. Enough of my rambles so you can get back to hanging out with your Father/Dad/Father Figure/Mom Who Pulls Double Duty/Family.

Missed The Mark

Yes RL has distracted me but so has the newest (okay second newest since Thrift Shop Started while I was busy collecting all the skins) release from cStar. You want to know what this release is that has me all tied up? Well it is the second set in cStar's The Art Of... collections. This time around it is The Art of Neo Geisha and well I am blow away with these 100 skins. I will just start by showing you the teaser we all got. Not only did Jasmine outdo herself with these skins but Sabbian out did himself with the photography for the ads and all the models look stellar!

And front and center is my inspiration for this post. I saw that purple smokey make-up and said "I don't know yet what I can/will do with that, but I will do SOMETHING." Sure enough right before the skin launched, MV dropped a sexy number in my lap that just happened to be exactly what I needed for it to all click into place.

Don't ask me what is is that makes me feel the need to be edgy this week but I feel razor sharp between MV and cStar. Maybe the concert I went to has something to do with it. Yes that is one of those things I let take me away form the blog, but it is more fun to go to an Ayria concert than to stay inside all cooped up slaving away at the keys styling and photoshopping.

Half Feline

So it finally settled in that the most recent season of RuPaul's Drag Race is over and with the hawt necklaces out from Olive I decided that I needed to show it off to try and drag out the season a bit longer in my heart. Of course then as I was styling my friend comments I look like a drag queen... not sure I agree with her but I felt like a Barbie.

All I know is that the bandanna tops from Cute Poison totally rock and once again Half-Deer has captured my attention with a set of her antlers. And even with Truth updating his hair packs I still love my old fades color packs almost as much as I love his new black and white packs, so I had to show off the old Barbie color at least one more time.

The Creationist

So the World Goth Fair opened up this week and I happened to badger Lokii until she finished her items and showed them too me and I have to say it was almost instant LOVE. Yes RL got in the way and while I had this all done and styled up the night before the fair opened, RL work decided that it wanted all of my attention. So I bring you just a taste of the sexy goth goodies exclusively at this great event.

Maybe I shoudl ramble some about what I'm wearing too... So the outfit collar and boots are all part of one of the outfits MV has brought to the fair, and I have to say Lokii is slowly bringing back an obsession with purple, because she has just the right shade to make me want to hump all her purple stuff. I haven't felt the need to do that since +DV8+. Anywho I paired the outfit with one of the sexy horns that +Half-Deer+ has to offer and I must say grab these horns now while you can because I know I will use them again and probably not till after the goth fair is over but there are enough colors and patterns that there are many of different uses for them and this is just one of them. Other little pieces like the slightly color altered (they were purple but they wern't quite the right shade and they were mod so I tweaked them closer) cross rings from Cute Poison and one of the necklaces that Noodles brought to us in the first The Arcade event make this outfit come to life while paired with one of the sexy TAO Goth skins that cStar brought out at the beginning of the year.

Because MV makes me get a hard on for her latex especially her newest release the Widowed Collar I decided to team up with my fellow latex flunky Skyler and do a post abusing the wonderful MV latex.

I am not normally a fan of cStar's Heavenly tone for whatever silly reason, but after finding this gem at the sale I really think I was just being silly. Kitty Love

So the whole reason this post even came about is someone handing me a notecard about the sale at la petite morte that is so that she can pay for her kitty's vet bill. The notecard brought tears to my eyes and well I went right over and bought the items and decided that I would spread the word to try and help the poor kitty! Please even if you don't like what she has out open your heart and if you have some lindens to spare send them her way to help the kitty!

Yay for the kitty face tattoo that made me want to neko out mildly leading to spots EVERYWHERE! Lucky for me some of my favorite stores have spot stuff out in various places that makes it easy on me.  We will start with the pretty side eye tattoos from cStar that are now only available on the marketplace but totally worth going after. And they come in soo many colors it isn't even funny! Seriously go look at them! Then we have the New collars form Zombie Suicide soo many options and I had to pick just one! Then we have the sexy corset and matching boots from MV that came out awhile back for her cart sale and I think are still lurking around the store somewhere. If they aren't you should totally harass Lokii until she puts them back out because I mean come on look at this epic detail and sexyness. Flower Child

So this is a blog post about pretty flowery stuff. I think there was a train of thought but the voices in my head have totally taken over...

Momento Mori

     I have to say Kamelot is probably one of my favorites bands ever, especially their albums Epica and The Black Halo. I had been listening to them the other day when a particular song titled Momento Mori really made me feel something powerful, especially the following lyrics:

"Who wants to separate,
The world we know from our beliefs,
And who sees only black and white,
Distinguish loss from sacrifice,
Some day we may come to peace,
With the world within ourselves,
And I will await you,
Until I close my eyes... close my eyes... close my eyes..."

     So with that playing in my mind over and over again, I set out to create a look based on how the song made me feel.

     Of course things went quite Gothic as you can tell, but that happens with me quite a bit. So I went with something pretty with my own flair to it. It just so happened I was in love with a new acquired, but older, cStar skin. I was wearing her around the Fantasy Fair went I happened to find a dress that called my name and I absolutely just HAD to have! My problem was I had no idea what shoes to wear with it though; that is when my friend Lindsey Warwick popped in and told me about some new platform boots she made! With the name being Crushers<3 I was interested. So I popped over to her store and fell in love! She has numerous colors, including discounted flame print ones specific to her in-world location. I grabbed as many as I could hold! It was to my surprise though that her HUD is very simple and easy to use. Not to mention color packs can be mixed and matched. I was so epic jazzed about it!

     After I had found the PERFECT boots to go with this look, I found a pretty flower head piece and a monotone clutch in my inventory that were begging to be used. I originally had a blonde hair with this look too, but something about it didn't seem quite right, so I didn't blog the look right away. I did however go to the Truth Hair sale with one of my closest friends, Jasmine. With her knowledge, she knew that there was a ponytail waiting there for me that I would absolutely love. I wasn't quite sure on it at first, but after buying it and trying it on in Pearl, she was so friggin' right! <3 My look was complete!

     Lastly, I headed over to a certain monotonous dark carnival out on the grid with one of my favorite Apple Spice poses. Pictures were taken and I was very happy with the results! <3

Black Magick Woman

So on a dark whim, the dark magick took over me! A visit to cStar's past line, added with a new gown from Rue was sure to crush all in the way with original mesh boots by a friend of mine, Lindsey Warwick. Anyone that knows me, knows I love the darker side of things, so this look was something I really enjoy. So with my favorite Ankh necklace and a little (more like a lot) of black lipstick, this post came to be! I think it's mostly the transition from the sleek look atop down to the flared out skirt and platform boots below that really makes me like this look so much. Enough of my rambling though!

Bullet With Butterfly Wings

I seem to have been a bit of a slacker lately neglecting this blog for the past week and some of my favorite stores for the past month. How you ask? I blame RL because well I have one now and it likes to get in my way. But for tonight I kick it to the curb to bring you this post I have been working on when RL has let me have a bit of my leash for maneuvering.

So besides letting RL take over I've been feeling a little more adventurous than I normally do lately and thus I ended up in Skyler's special sex room dressed in the new latex lingerie from Sn@tch. Paired with the naughty spinal tap heels from MV and the creepy cool horns from Kre-ations I felt like a sex demon and I think Skyler wanted to unleash me...

Analog Trash

So I have to say MV has captured my heart and does not disappoint. The new latex released this past week is utterly amazing and to get me showing off this much skin is only recently heard of. I guess it is time to show off my body...

Nine In The Afternoon

Wee! I was suppose to clean all day after making a cheesecake... Did you know how freaking long it takes to make a cheesecake?!?! I refused to leave my living room for fear of missing the timer to take the thing out of the oven so thank God for my laptop which allowed me to be somewhat productive! The result was not only an epic awesome cheesecake but a sexy The Black Market shoot with the lovely Skyler Glasswing. I was gonna team up and do this post with my partner in crime, but since her computer has been on the fritz I decided she needed a break. Thus I grabbed Skyler and raided The Black Market to bring you this post!

I am loving the spring and since it is already hitting 80°F I felt we needed to bring some more to SL with all of the awesome flowers and pale to bright colors. Also FLOWERS! Sorry I don't know why but I saw the flowers on the bench and went hmm MUST GET! Not to mention the rainbow bikini Skyler is wearing. Anywhos... time for a closeup!

While I ADORE the colorful piercings Skyler has on, I also adore the simplistic ones that Atooly bright out for The Black Market. Atooly Hunts is at it again and this time their them is SPRING! So from April 10th to May 10th there is a great spring themed hunt with a ton of great prizes to go after!

First off I have to say I LOVE the adorable little bird that is on my shoulder! If you click it it chirps and flaps it's wings! Totally want to cuddle it. I also love the Daisy poses that Nani Poses put out I had such a hard time choosing between the 5 poses and settled on this one because it showed off more of my front too. And -me- doing a backdrop?!? So very unlike me, but the bench and flower pot were just calling my name and it was too hard to resist!

Candy Coated Ecstasy

I do believe I have been feeling sexy as of late.... The corsets all over the place and lingerie  So unlike the old me. Funny how one little thing can really impact us right? My confidence is probably the highest it has ever been and I am enjoying the high. So I apologize now if the direction I take form here on out is not what you want or expect, but I finally am truly becoming happy and I will be damned if I let things spiral back to how they were. Anyways time to stop boring you with unnecessary details and to show off what I like to call Candy Coated Ecstasy instead.

Yeah I'm wearing next to nothing in SL and I'm proud to flaunt it. The killer shape my friend and I have spent ages tweaking and re-tweaking helps, but right now I would even wear this IRL and that is really saying something. All of the sexy latex from MV is really hard to beat. The quality and the colors are beyond compare (Not to mention the generosity with the weekly sales! I got the corset and the boots for 60L$ each this weekend!) And then adding a sexy cStar skin can make any body look awesome with the detail and the sexy sultry make-ups. Finished off with some of my new favorite leather work form SugarPill and the trusty leather posture collar from (red)Mint and I look good enough to eat if I do say so myself.

Not Your Silver Angel

So the Big Boobies Show is back again, and The Sugar Garden is totally participating! They have created and released quite the sexy wrap top for busty and non-busty ladies alike. Available in Baby Blue, Baby Pink, Black, Hot Pink, Lavendar, Red, Silver Sparkle (My favorite and shown) and white; that's a total of eight friggin' awesome colors. I'm also epic excited because I've finally gotten a new pair of rigged mesh hands from Slink (feet too, but you can't see those in the pic), and I seriously love them. These are probably the best mesh hands (and feet) I have ever owned in my time of Secondlife. Not to mention they come in standard sizing, too! The HUDs are simple and easy to use with easy chat commands for putting in RGBs. Each have several different skin and nail textures as well as options to save your favorite settings. What I love the most about them is that they can be tinted and colormatched to almost any skin tone, and before you ask, I totally went and saw how many skins I could colormatch them to. Anyways, I totally recommend the hands and feet from Slink as well as the sexy top from The Sugar Garden.

Think Pink

I finally got to do a shoot with one of my best friends Skyler. We have been trying to find the time and styles that complemented each other for over a month and the Pink Fusion Hunt finally had us agreeing and with enough time and energy to get our butts in gear and pump out the pictures, then RL got in the way and neither of us got it up before Easter ended as we intended but we tried and that's what counts!

Because of my bunny mask and the beautiful Spring pinks we choose and the timing of this post we decided the Easter theme and I went digging for adorable Easter poses we could use. Embody had just the ones we needed so we had fun with our giant eggs as Skyler tried her hand at juggling.

I was soo hesitant about this bunny mask at first but I figured I would give it a try, and after a bit of playing and adjusting it to my hair I kinda grew attached to it. I love the dresses that Sakide came out with for this hunt. The mesh fits like a glove and the detail is amazing. One of my new favorite piercing stores took part in this hunt too. I think Skyler and I both agree that we love what Hebenon Vial does with their piercings since we both ended up sporting it for the picture and we normally can't agree on something that entirely.

Good-Bye Emily

Inspired by one of my favorite songs by Parov Stelar (Good Bye Emily), I felt as though it was time to create a very high class and red carpet worthy look. So with my favorite hair from Elikatira, a gorgeous skin from cStar Limited and some heels from N-core, I set out to find the perfect dress. It took me a while searching the marketplace with no avail that finally pushed me to search in-world. So after searching a couple stores, I had remembered Sassy! had released a dress recently. So I went over there, and there it was! That was the dress I had been looking for, yet, there wasn't just the right color for the look I wanted. I was sad and decided to just shop around the place for a bit. Moments later, I found a Tango Train Hunt gift from Sassy!, and it had a special color of the gown inside. So, I went back home and unpacked it. OH. MY. GOSH! It was EXACTLY what I was looking for, the perfect color! So squeeing with excitement, I put on my favorite nails from one of the cStar Limited PLATINUM skins, a gorgeous set of pearls from Lassitude and Ennui and felt so pretty.
