This song has been stuck in my head for a week so I had to make a pretty post with me being all vain and stuff because well maybe it will unstick the song from my head.

It defiantly helps when everyone proceeds to offer new shiny "pretty" things all at once. Like these pretty bow earrings from Atooly and shiny new bangles from +DV8+ being released right as I type this up! Winter's Festivities

I was walking around my home sim, just enjoying the scenery when I realized-- This Winter by [Atooly] had started! I rushed around to grab my favorite things from the event, and put together a couple outfits. This was one that made me feel nice and toasty! Red accented with white and just a little brown sounded so very perfect, so that's how this came to be. So now I'm running around between This Winter and Dark Eternity's winter wonderland like a kid on Christmas morning. This Winter is definitely worth checking out, there's plenty of wonderful designers who have put up some awesome things as well as some gifts underneath the tree. <3

Leather-N-Laces

So I guess I've been in a frisky mood lately. This post has been in planning for nearly a week now I've just been soo busy doing stuff IRL that I hadn't had a chance to shoot it yet, or if I have the time I wasn't inspired enough until tonight. Everything just clicked and I got to show off the epic sexiness that I have been keeping hidden for too long!

I've rediscovered Goth1c0 lately and damn what was I thinking wandering away. A few of my favorite pieces form there form a few years keep floating back into my wander around wardrobe and finally I went back and damn if I'm not fully hooked again. I mean how in their right mind could resist these boots or the corset piercing?!?! But yeah I'mma shut up now and just let you enjoy the view!

Nothin' like a little burlesque... or was I put in the corner for punishment? Either way, I don't wanna stay in the corner, make me!

cStar has really turned in out with their new facial structure on their skins. I absolutely love it! cStar Limited has put out a bunch of new skins, Kassandra being one of them. My made-of-pure-awesome partner, Dragon, got to this version of Kassandra before me, but I couldn't help but blog it anyways. I went for a more sensual, sexy approach. I love my Slink hand and feet, and I've been reluctant to invest in heels made for Slink feet, but Lindsey Warwick made some heels (for the Slink Medium feet) that were absolutely TO DIE FOR! The ones that really caught my attention were her strapless Siren heels, which I had to wear first. She actually includes baked and material version of her heels, so if you have your advanced lighting module on when wearing the Material version, they're all sorts of gorgeous and glossy. 

Anyways, to go with this look, I actually Dropped by *Epic* and picked up an older outfit of theirs. I love poofy rompers with big bows in the back, I couldn't resist. Also, as something that threw me off, I actually went brunette this time around-- opposed to my usual black, white, grey or blonde! I think it took a turn for the better, heheh!

She's As Cold As Ice

So the Winter Trend Fair started and between cStar and Razor my brain and my creativity went straight to the frigid weather I've had to deal with this Turkey Day week. The results are quite chilly and thus this look that I think I am totally in love with!

And then with +DV8+ reopening and Dare redesigned his shop and decorating the Dark Eternity Sim for winter I found the perfect spot that amplifies the look and calls to my winter wonderland creativity.

Search and Destroy

Feeling on a brighter note, I had a strange attraction to white and greys with just a hint of my favorite color in the entire world-- Chartreuse. I didn't think this would lead me to styling in my regular genres, especially more cyber/scifi. As you can see though, that's exactly where it ended up!
This is very much a more simple styling, but I am hoping you are eyeballing the MechaBone Jaw piece by Unsung. It's a 100% unrigged mesh single object, with 8 customizable faces (for those unsure how to utilize faces for tinting and customization, there is a notecard included to help you out). For those who are using the newest material viewers like me, the mapping on this jaw is phenomenal! The detail the materials add is absolutely gorgeous as you can see in the picture above, but even if you aren't using the advanced lighting module, this jaw looks damn good. So why not grab one for yourself? It comes in Black, White (shown) and Grey.

Think Geek

So when I heard about the Geeks'n'Nerds Event this geeky girl had to go check it out and I found a ton of awesome things that grabbed my attention so here is a post to show off a fraction of my goodies!

I instantly fell in love with this chair from tea.s, and the mugs from Atooly made me giggle. Olive brought out my inner fan girl with all of the Sailor Moon inspired jewelry and the book earrings just magnify one of the meany reasons why (My LOVE of reading) I consider myself a geek. These aren't the only epic things I found though while shopping. Beach street not only had this epic wall art but a gatcha full of geeky pillows that I took many stabs at and collected a few of my favorites. C(Two Cats) also put out an epic cute handheld gaming device that made me squee that I collected! There are tons more but I'm too lazy to type the rest up while I should be off the computer enjoying my turkey day so go wander the event and find all of the epic nerdy things that make you squee!

Love, The Hardest Way

For this post, it's definitely a little more personal. People who know me in the RL will notice that I have captured a few of my RL characteristics in my avatar for this picture. I definitely went for a more relaxed, casual look. A cozy cardigan, my favorite black tank-top, a pair of comfy skinny jeans, and my favorite (but tattered) sneakers. For this one, I got my hand on some cuteness items from Atooly-- an absolutely adorable polka-dotty headband and a mug that really caught my attention. I'm a huge nerd, and when it comes to graphing and equations, I can keep at it for hours! You can actually get the mug at the Geeks'n'Nerds Fair, which of all fairs thus far, has to be my favorite. <3

Still Waters

The waters remain still, but within do they run so deep. All color fades as the waters over-take, and she reaches out. To take her hand are you strong enough to pull her from the choking tourniquet depths, or will you too, be pulled in?
This one was another piece based on emotion. It comes from a strong mix, between the heavy mourning I'm in and the stresses that have been being flung at me in the real world. There's been a huge feeling of being stuck, being pulled in and something trying to drown me like a moth in water. But in reaching out, someone has taken my hand and has been pulling me out of it. Anyways, I played a lot with photoshop techniques and I hope you like it. This was overall fun to make and really helped relieve a lot of stress in the process.

Titanium

So my friend Vasha, that owns +DV8+, challenged me to do a photoshoot for 10 different songs that had a positive self message that didn't harp on another person or talk about love or the like. I just went through a break-up and it shook what self-confidence I had built up so she wants to help me get back to that point I was at and keep me there, without depending on outside sources to reinforce that I am worth something. Because of the nature of the challenge some of these will be more personal and not geared towards the fashions as much so I am posting all of them on my Flickr and on my Personal Journal Blog and only a select few of them here. But to start things off my brain went running to play with metallic tones and futuristic latex when I started to style for the first song Titanium by David Guetta. So here is what I came up with.

I'm gonna keep the rest of this short and sweet because my original intent wasn't geared towards the fashion but I have to share some of the awesome. +DV8+ IS COMING BACK!!! *SQUEE* The cat is already out of the bag in the deviant group despite Vasha trying to keep it a secret while she finished setting it up so I can post and brag about it here. MV continues to produce sexy latex that fits along the Illiad Corps Division of clothing with this sexy new under-bust corset that has three colors featured at Genre and the sexy boots at Shoetopia with the sales of two of the epic colors going to benefit Soles4Soles.

Red Phantasm

Walking in what seemed like a light rain, turned to a storm that brought a flood that drenched such a beautiful gown. The darkness that followed, only lit by a single light source that had forced one to see nothing but red. It would bring an uneasiness, but a mask could hide it all. Horns could fend off anyone who thought of what really could lie behind the mask, but should they be used?

This post is probably one of my stranger ones, it's entirely base off of emotion. I had felt a strange mixed that left me wanting to portray them, in which I did. I did not intend for this to be blogged at first, but several of my friends said that I absolutely should. So, here we are! I won't ramble on and on for this one, I'd much rather say just a bit and have hope that you enjoy this photo and styling. <3

Ever Dream

This week has been a rough one, but with all emotions comes either dreams or nightmares. I feel as though when I'm asleep I am within a surreality that's constantly swirling around me. Finding the the way is always the hardest things, but there's always a light that leads me back to reality of the waking world.

Sn@tch has recently had a fall sale, and I definitely took advantage of it. I pieced together and outfit in my head that I absolutely had to have-- and I pushed forward through the crowds to get it! With such a stunning, long mesh skirt and a gorgeously textured corset, I was in love. I of course had to find my favorite gloves ever (of all time) from +DV8+, which I felt fit well. So, I put my hair up in a very Beauty and the Beast style, then accessorized with my current favorite jewelry from Maxi Gossamer and Cute Poison. Feeling pretty, I visited Pandemonium and took a few pictures; this is the one out of the bunch I loved the absolute most and had to share!

More Than Meets The Eye

I will have to keep this post short and sweet because honestly the more I look at the pictures the more I analyze them and that just makes my brain scream more with everything that just went on in my RL and all the emotions flowing through me. You never quite realize everything that you subconsciously do until you sit there and look back after the fact. But anyway on to the pretty look!

The bright splash of rainbow is what got my attention with this top and I absolutely had to have it when I saw it. And then cStar came out with rainbow eyes! Sadly I've only managed to wresle 2 of the 3 rainbow versions out of the gatcha so if anyone happens to have the rare one lying in their inventory and doesn't want/need it I have stuff to trade for it. Up to and possibly including my soul... But we have to get Kaylith's approval to go that route! Also comfy bears to lay on! The poses they have in them are awesome I just had an idea in mind and had to find a different pose to bring the idea to life. Also I have to convince Lokii to but out this rainbow version of the necklace she made for the Shoetopia Gatcha. I needed to find a necklace and she was all "I have an idea" and she made the pretty, now she just needs to get it out where more than just me can abuse it! Also a closeup because A) Yay pretty eyes that you need to take a closer look at! B) New profile picture because different angle and win and I want to show it off!

Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds

So, lately after falling out of my Halloween kick I've discovered that I fell into a pretty in pink kick and it kinda scares me... I mean look at how I styled the cStar skin Ad for The Thrift Shop! I even had my choice between a couple of the skins and I picked the most girly just because that is what I felt like styling! I think I might be getting sick or something!

But before I even did that I started this look, I just had to attend to RL before I got a chance to do anything with it. But now, here it is the look that started this girly streak that will last idk how long!

I'm thinking it's these new skins that cStar is putting out getting under my skin, but we will see what the future brings and if I can keep the girly looks up or if I will fall back into old habits...

I know, I know, this post is a little late. However, the Rockabilly Fair is still going on and there's plenty of awesome stuff there! cStar Limited of course released skins, both a male and female for the Rockabilly Fair. My lovely partner in crime, Dragon is sporting the female skin by the name Vikki. Doesn't she look like she walked right out of a pin-up calendar? Meooow! Myself though, I played around with just a bit of a different look that's in the same area, perhaps a little more modern. You got to love those glossy lipsticks from cStar! I really love the new goodies from Cute Poison too, like these wicked stylish glasses, anchor necklace, and a lower region piercing that comes in a couple sexy designs. ;) Enough of my rambling though.

With the new round of The Thrift Shop opening soon, cStar has created a new skin-- Cheyanne. This skin comes in five different make-up options and each make-up option has it's own unique rare. Rare, I say? Why yes, she is indeed a gatcha skin, but do not worry-- each make-up option is it's own gatcha. I must not forget, there are also some gorgeous new eyes available in a gatcha as well-- which I must say are attention grabbers! In the picture above I am sporting the Del Sol RARE option of Cheyanne, which is in the gorgeous silver tone. With bright oranges and purples paired with black lips, I simply couldn't resist-- I HAD to wrap up in my favorite latex and bring out the claws! I went with a very Bettie Page hairstyle, of course. <3 Not many people know of the place, but I really love the little shop named Sugar Pill. The creator has some pretty unique and well-textured stuff available that's an absolutely MUST-HAVE! Of course I matched it up with my favorite Dare Designs gloves and boots, accented with piercings and necklace from Cute Poison, then finally a latex posture collar and claws I made a while back. They aren't up yet, but I'll have them up and available soon.

Snagged from the in-world group, I had to share cStar Limited's ad for Cheyanne - Carribean. My lovely partner in crime styled and modeled for this make-up option, and I just love how pretty and soft it looks! Plus you can get a peek at the different tones and rare for the Carribean make-up option.

 

So in total there's 74 different skins you can win, with five different make-up options + their rares. As I said, there is an eye gatcha right next to the skin gatcha with it's own 4 unique rares. You're In For A Treat

Horrorfest is on its last days and you don't want to miss all the treats that the designers have out with proceeds going to The Epilepsy Therapy Project. I have gathered another handful to show off before I go hide somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean for a week with no internet because I must share all of the awesomeness! So I shall start by giving FACE!

I do believe I give some bloody good face! Especially with this beautiful skin from MIASNOW. She added so many make-up options for this skin for Horrorfest that I had a hard time choosing! Pair it with one of the Klown eyes from The Stringer Mausoleum and the bloody fun hair that .ploom. put out for Halloween and you are ready for a good time! But anyway I better show off the rest of my goodies before the end of the event!

Schadenfreude knows how to grab my attention! This bloody corset was one of those things that pulled me straight to Horrorfest to grab. Sakide put out some bloody shorts that match it quite well and I decided to put my Ex's head to good use with this Bloody Candy Bucket! Candy Anesthetic

So The Dirty Pillows Hunt 2 has started, and it runs November 1st-30th, 2013. What really caught my eye to this hunt was this sexy little latex number from The Sugar Garden. I just couldn't resist! So I ran to TSG and searched frantically for it. Needless to say I was epic happy with it, and had to style an outfit. This outfit is overall gorgeous quality and it includes Slink, Tango and Phat Azz appliers (Slink Feet stockings, Tangos bra/top, Phat Azz panties/pants). So after squeezing into this tight, latex treat, I slipped on my white thigh high boots, put on the appropriate shade of lipstick, then just had fun taking pictures at my personal studio.

The Pumpkin Eater

Horrorfest has just under a week left and collectivly they have raised just over half of their goal to send to The Epilepsy Therapy Project. This is a really great cause and to help try and raise them closer to their goal I shall assult your eyes with another awesome look I put together using many items I found at Horrorfest or on their sim wide hunt. You shoudl definaly check out the event if you havn't already and buy some stuff to help contribute to The Epilepsy Therapy Project in style!

I do so love this Jack-O-Lantern corset that Dilly Dolls put out for the event it brings me back to my Kawaii side but lets me add the darker side that has gripped me firmly for the past month or so (I think Kaylith might be rubbing off on me more than I realized). And because MIASNOW inspired me to go wild piecing together this Make-Up combo with all of the options that she put out for Horrorfest I have to zoom in some to show you just how awesome the pieces are!

I had to use quite a few layers to get the effect I was looking for, but they were easy to overlay and they all fit together so well that I couldn't help myself when I played with them. And yes, my close-up semi fails as a close-up, but I couldn't bear to crop off the corset or the fun nail polish I found to be that final finishing touch. Although, If you head over to my Flickr page you can click through to see the pictures original size and then you can see all the awesome details including the eyes, which have a name that got me thinking and thus inspired the name of my post. Anyways enough of my rambles!
